I have used his particle technique with the cloner, but if you use the cloner as an object and put a matrix on it. Then in the matrix you use it as an object and you put the emitter. you can use forces, mograph effectors and deformers.
I tried to challenge myself and failing. Is there any way to make thinking particle or emitter act like x-particles XP Network change direction | intersection 45 degree?
@@cl.7837 I managed to find what the issue was and I feel like a dummy, you have to render a sequence (for example, from 10 to 60) in order for the tracer to work. this is because it calculates itself each frame based on previous frame positions. Another option is to bake the tracer as an alembic on the frame you want and then apply the RS Object Tag on it. Hope this helps!
how seriously can you take the outdated c4d particle system when there are x-particles and even more so houdini , maxon have you thought about doing something with it?
The answer is simple: As seriously as they provide in a project what is needed. Thinking Particles have much more to offer, like Data Channels and the direct connection with MoGraph. The right tool for the right job, as the saying is. Sometimes a hammer is all one needs; sometimes, it needs to be something more sophisticated.
@@MaxonTrainingTeam you can't excuse the obvious fact that Thinking particles are too cumbersome, lacking the basic convenience - which C4D still pursues. It takes too long for a basic setup while with X-particles it only takes 2 mouse clicks. That illogical fallacy only shows weakness in implementation. Why are thousands of users complaining about thinking particles for a decade but Maxon does nothing?
I always loved Nidia Dias work and it it amazing that you mention her and show one of her techniques. We need her as a guest!
One of the best in the game
That's a very good idea. I'll suggest it to the team ;)
She's already been featured once on the Maxon channel
loved the way to give the blue light all across the material while hiding it, damn cool man.
Super clear explanation about the force field! 🥰
thanks a lot for this maxon !!.😘waiting for the next x particles live👌😁

thank you man

thank you
Are there any specific render settings? As on my render output, the Tracer appear as straight lines expanding on the right of the screen.
Same here!
