- Our brother got himself a WJ! In this video, we helped him install a 4 inch lift kit, 32 inch all terrain tires, aluminum 3 row radiator and factory tow hooks. His Jeep is now ready for Epic PNW Adventures!
That's a fresh jeep 👊 goodjob guys!
It turned out great! 👍
Should be getting the call this afternoon to come pick up mine, getting 4 1/2 inch long arm lift installed on the XJ and upgrading to 33 inch MT's. Pretty stoked. Between now and spring hoping to do winch bumper, winch, lockers, rock sliders..... unless the engine goes first, then I'll take care of it first. Lifters are rattling pretty good, but not using any oil, and doing fine. If it holds off death a while, the plan is to drop a stroker in it. Should be trail ready and cruising around old mining and logging roads by the time the snow's coming out of the Cascades.
Looks great
Thanks!
I wish I had friends like this to help me with my mods I literally have the same Jeep everything exact same color and all only difference is I got tint all the way around I love it
Looks clean 👌
So i believe on these newer grand cherokees the front axle shafts are like cv shafts with rubber boots. Can these axles be easily swapped out for the stronger medal joints?
Yes, we already swapped the axle to a double cardon one. It's a simple process for the most part if you only have to change the yoke type at the transfer case. The yoke at the axle is a little more work but it's not too bad.
Iron Rock Offroad has u-joint replacement front axle shafts for Dana 30, 27 spline axles. They do a custom modification so there is no binding at full lock. It replaces the stock the CV axles. Good upgrade to do while you are changing diff gears or adding a locker.
Looks fantastic!
What wheels are those?
From jeep Gladiator 2024
Nice rig
is this the V8? quadradrive or quadratrack? I read online it wont fit with either and I'm sad
What bout driveshafts
We did upgrade the front driveshaft to a double cardan.
Is this the jeep grand cheroke 2.7 crd and if so did you only install the lift kit and if so you did you need to do extra modifications to fit them. My question is if i could buy a lift kit for my jeep grand cherokee 2.7 crd and just put it on without buying anything extra
2inch max! Kit cost £54! Anything over 3.5inch.....big bucks! Tie rods, drive shafts, gota drop the transfer box, different shocks, springs....just so it'll flip over 1st corner! I've had a 2inch boost on my 2001 wj 4.7. It looks great!
hello can i ask you where did you bought the lift kit ?
That looks like the Rough Country 4" X-Series life
Dónde compraste ese kit de elevación dame la página y como se pide porfa saludos desde panamá 🇵🇦🇵🇦🇵🇦🇵🇦🇵🇦

It's rough when using rough country garbage lol
LOL rough country
Not bad for how cheap they are. It's a budget build.
Perfect for budget build lift.
A couple hundred more you get ironrock. Buy once. Cry once. Prices are similar. Look
@@MrSrtman18 the 2 comparably priced kits are very different. The Rough Country lift includes front lower control arms, track bar drop bracket, drop pitman arm, and rear upper control arm relocation bracket. IRO does not include any of those items, basically leaving you to sort out your pinion and steering angles on your own by forcing you to buy more parts. Rough Country is a much better deal and is a foolproof kind of setup that has everything you need for a lift of this size. The IRO kit does have an adjustable track bar, but it leaves you with a hideous drag-link angle. Also IRO includes hydro shocks while RC includes nitro shocks. Nitro is simply better on a lifted vehicle.
Which tire size is this?
