Hi, i'm from Italy, and i have the 2.7 CRD turbo diesel one. My underside is perfect no rust, i think because they put a grafite coating to protect form salt. The rust problems are on the roof, specially around the sunroof. I like the way you solved the problem!

Thanks for watching! Over here in the upper US unfortunately they use brine/salt mix and it just destroys vehicles if you don't have them oiled underneath. This one is going to get wire brushed and caked with oil here shortly!
