Even here, in 21st Century Angeles Forest National Monument, there is discovery and adventure for off-roaders. Newbies can get a feel for the power of their rigs, and for the power of a campfire with like- minded souls.
Wished we had trails like this in Minnesota, nice see all these WJ's wheeling together. I've had my 2003 Overland since new, 2" budget lift, bigger tires, ARB bumper, high flow 3" exhaust. Used on many icefishing trips pulling the fish house thru some deep snow on frozen lakes. To bad the body isn't surviving the winter salted roads, rusting bad after 21 years. Nice seeing good looking rust free WJ's running around. The ARB bumper is tuff, I hit a deer going 60 mph and the WJ is still going.
Awesome video! I live pretty much right at the base of Lytle creek. I’d love to join you guys the next time you’re out this way. I don’t have a WJ, but I’m sure my Land Cruiser can keep up.
Lytle Creek (more specifically Coldwater Canyon) is a great local trail I use to take the edge off when I haven't been able to get out offroading for a while. Great video!
Hey how's it going! Yes! The WJ as I'm finding out is a pretty damm capable rig! I've been having so much fun with it. along the way I've talked 11friends into getting WJs.. I can't always get these guys all out on the trail, but anyway! I'm sure you will enjoy building one up. cheers!
Really enjoyed the video and hope to see more! I have a 2002 WJ Overland Edition that I've modified for overlanding. It's done everything I 've asked of it on the trail.
Very nicely done video! I would love to ride this on my MC. Looking at a detailed map of the SB forest, 3N06 seems to connect TO 3N06B coming from Sierra HWY? Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for sharing. Ive never really gone offroading, but just simple camping. Looks intimidating, lytle creek is not far from me, maybe on of these days, maybe… Subbed🔥👍
That should be fine. I would bring a friend just in case you need a spotter once in awhile. But definitely go on a weekday maybe early Friday.. to miss the crowds then, you can relax and just focus on off-roading also it’s not to far from civilization And mostly we had cell service back there..
Currently building my 99 limited. Listening to this in the background while working on it actually. Just need to replace this gas tank skid plate and it’s good enough for a couple trips. More customizing later the more I take it out and see what all I’ll need to get it where I want it.
Dude, i live in fontana and hit lyttle creek all the time. Ive never seen other wj’s up there besides mine. I would love to join you guys on the next trip up here!
Copy that! we do plan to get a group of subscribers together in the near future to get the WJ community together for some wheeling! We have a lot of big trips planned this year but I’ll definitely reach out to everyone once I get back out that way!
I did a search on the Miller Jeep trail and watched your vid. I have an 04 Tundra. Now it's going on 20 years old. We did that trail 15+ years ago, my truck was pretty much stock. A forest fire or two later, it looks a lot rougher now. Currently in the process of rebuilding my suspension. 33"s. A long arm travel kit to run 35's is $7K.
Stockton flats yellow post camp cites are awesome up there used to have a 2nd gen four runner had to sell die to illness i really miss it have fun guys
I've been to this spot and love it. I laughed in my head going wait until they all try to find level ground and sure enough you called it out. I highly recommend checking out some 10-scale RC crawlers. My GF and I take ours out to the trails now and have a blast. It gives you a reason to explore a little perimeter of your campsite too. Good to know BEFORE you gotta #2, I tell you what.
Haha! Well I’m not sure I could fit anything else in my jeep, I have so much crap in there! ! Lol. but Ya def not level up there, we almost moved! but we liked it to much so we just made it work.
@@wjoverland5109 It's for sure the best spot once you get level. The sound of the river, your back to the mountain. I sleep safe there feeling like I'm not exposed by all angles lol. Good stuff man, I'm following the channel definitely hope to see you around. I'll be checking Lytle out Sunday for snow.

Hey! Thanks for watching. My Jeep has a 4 inch iron rock lift kit With 5100 bilstien shocks.. I also installed Iron rock adjustable control arms and rear AArms….. Hi thank you. I did not re-gear, Im running 33s and that's about the limit before you need to upgrade. I haven't had any problems and that thing really goes anywhere. but once it does have a problem, I will be upgrading.. As far as the awning, I couldn't be more happy! I love that thing! so easy to pull out and put away( just a few minutes either way ) I've had it for about a year and no damage, I especially love the walls...I've only just started using it for camping and it's great to get out of the wind with a propane fire pit under there! really happy with it! I'm upgrading my roof rack here in the next few weeks but... it has stayed attached Evan with that cheap harbor freight rack.
What’s up guys!! I have a nice WJ and my father too and if it’s cool my brother has a nice XJ we would love to be a part of the community…. I am a combat medic USAR so that could be nice 😎 we live in the HD so let me know next time hopefully we can join the group!!
