What has helped me is to actually talk to the people that you’re jealous of if you can. Usually you’ll find out flaws and realise they’re not as “perfect” as you think they are. I’ve had it a few times that they’ve revealed they’re actually jealous of me too and usually for things I’ve not noticed or taken for granted.
Your insights have helped me heal my anxious attachment so much. I used to have cheating dreams (for no good reason) that would haunt me the whole day, and I’d get so insecure towards my partner. The other day I had one and it did NOTHING to me. Realized I’ve gotten to a place where I’m secure, confident and unbothered. Thank you!!!

Hi Margarita. I have had to go through a lot in my life ever since I was a kid. I was extremely anxiously attached and very reactive and emotional. I have always been in my masculine energy. it's definitely true...the instinct in the moment, especially if they look is to get hurt and pissed off, like it feels like disrespect and you want the man to recognise this and behave better/only have eyes for you...but one camp is oh they're a man, they can't help themselves bless them, and then the other is they're not the man for you/me- but I agree, getting visibly pissed off only gives them more power and also makes us feel worse, less confident and less attractive in the eyes of the man

I have gotten so much out of your videos! Thank you! Would love to see a video on dealing with friendships when you’re in a relationship and have many friendships with opposite gender friends. I find boundaries are blurry here especially when he takes a long time to open up emotionally but has many long standing and even more recent female friendships. I feel it allows him to keep emotionally distant in this intimate relationship, but with female friends he can keep them at arms length, he can control the level of connection. And not acting jealous but knowing what your needs are and communicating that in a confident way. I feel like there’s some unacceptable behavior, but we disagree. Makes me feel like his priorities are online “fake” ish relationships and not the one with the woman who is present, showing up and wanting to do the work together.

This might be a different video request but are you able to talk about moments or relationships where you may have been the “toxic one” due to your codependency/anxious attachment?
I say this because so often the anxiously attached are labeled as the good guy/victim when sometimes anxious/codependents can confuse healthy/secure people as avoidant/playing games and can become draining/controlling/emotionally abusive as a result.

Hi Margarita! Thank you so much for talking about envy/jealousy in that context and giving insights and reframing thoughts for it. I do have a follow up question: how does one know if the envious feeling is telling something about what you desire vs peer pressure in a sense that one think one desires it because one feels envy/jealous but looking at it deeper one actually doesn’t want that experience, thing or whatever the other has?
I’ve dealt with my envy feelings for a long time trying to understand it and there are times i end up blaming myself “only” for feeling it. i am aware that it’s only my side of the equation that i can control or respond with, but where can i draw the line between “okay this is probably my self esteem speaking” vs “oh this dynamic is just constantly making me feel envious feelings for some reason maybe this is just incompatible”? Oftentimes, i find myself envious of things or experiences that i think i should be desiring because majority desires it. so yeah my question is in that sense. Hope to hear from you! maybe it’s something you can cover in your upcoming videos. Thank you so much for your helpful contents! 💖☺️

That being said, do you have any advice or tips on staying in your feminine as a single mom? I know you were raised by a single mom so you might have some insight but I truly struggle with being responsible and taking on that empty male energy to make sure my own is taken care of but I find it hard to employ femininity in my dating life when I’m constantly having to “put out fires” and redirect things

I’ve been struggling with seeing everyone around me getting married & having babies. I’m 25 and I feel behind which is crazy because I never felt this way before. But I feel so far from that ever happening for me and I crave it so much. I have to delete my social media every so often because every other day there’s another peer having a baby or getting engaged. I’m so happy for them but when is it my turn? Why can’t I manage to find that?

First I don't wanna be her. I do compare because I'm being compared by men. I suffer with anger that a man can't see beyond looks.
The way I deal with jealousy/envy personally is that I end the friendship. If someone's situation makes me feel anxious, unhappy or bad about myself - why keep that person in your life. Let them move on and you move on with your life. That can be a great solution.

Great points. I just did a video on this as well and one thing I remind folks is that a lot of us tend to idolize the idea of who we THINK people are. A lot of people only show what they want people to see. Meanwhile, you’re idolizing someone not realizing what goes on behind closed doors. We need to be cautious of the things we wish for and perhaps use what you “envy” as motivation instead of jealousy. 🤍🤍🤍🤍
