Starting with a run down of his signature Design Lab kit, the grammy award winning recording artist takes us through a host of new Black Panther snares including some special artist signature models. Each now features a Trick throw-off, wider snare beds and locking eye lugs.

Mapex is so underrated
Russ is a criminally under rated drummer
Those tom mounts are insane.
MAN, come on, these new Black Panthers snares are amazing! So many sound pallets to choose, they really got the hole point there. btw, that Solidus model sounds incredible!!
Great job Russ.Products are beautiful!
So with the innovations, which I'm glad Mapex is making this all happen and are doing a fantastic job, but, being that we saw the DW rack and mounts, it's about time Mapex made their own. I also saw where russ has DW pedals at his personal kit. I personally like the Falcon pedal. I've had mine since they first came out. I love it. It took a long time to experiment with all the possible combinations of settings that could be made to make it what I wanted, and I did it. I made it so I can fly with my feet like they were a second set of hands. I mean "fast". No heal-toe or floating techniques needed. My feet flat on the floor, and I can fly. They are fast, smooth and always reliable.
I can't wait to buy a bigger vehicle to fit those tom mounts.
They make the drums so resonant so you need more moongel
That tom mount is the biggest over designed GIANT sized piece of drum gear that I've ever seen.
worse than pearl's!
Russ rockin a Rolex !
Mapex improved a lot!
The tom mounts prove that just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
Wind instraments need to be in a different state
spell check- it's a concept
@@bluesky6449 Capitalization and punctuation are cool concepts as well.
I want that 6.5" Versatus! Cant find it anywhere! HELP!
Beautiful products prices please thank you
The snare strainer tension was different
Weird seeing DW 9000 pedals behind this kit.
2:15 o cara do Batera Clube aparece ali no fundo! #drumsbrasil
It's like Drum porn! All these drums are amazing looking
Apart from the magnetic mount I dont see anything here that hasnt been around since the 80/90's
That kit is sick!I would nut laying down a beat on it...

Whoopsie. Off brand pedals.
He uses Dw hardware on his rack and 9000 Pedals from a long time ago. He even did a video showing his new drum rack, explaining how he build it and why he replaced his previous cymbal stands
So you're telling me that the flagship display kit for Mapex... Uses DW hardware. Nice.
Yeah, I'm going to leave a comment about that on top. lol.
@@hoozerob I stand corrected! Mapex cymbal mounts just look really similar to DW ones. Source: I switched over, and don’t regret a thing ;-))
@@NotSilasPipson But I could have sworn that I saw the DW logo.
Seems like a few too many Tom mount options to me.
Mapex is good but all made in China... so, I love DIXON the second. They products all in Taiwan and totally lower prices than Mapex(all made in China). Both are good but... I hope Dixon grows, develops and succeeds.
Drummers are so annoying. Over engineer Tom mounts to get them more resonant just to slap moongel and muffling heads on them lol
sneakerjoe23 I can’t stand seeing toms and snares with a bunch of gels or tape on them and hearing people say o that sounds good? 🤔 unless there’s a specific sound that is needed.
Idk abt you. But I hate putting any muffling on my tom heads
bat trap baby I am the same way
Even more annoying, drums with an advanced mount, mounted on a snare basket
That Saturn Evolution's tom mounting suspension is too weird position... Mapex badge's positions no good... should redesign that, Mapex.
Do you really need a terminator looking Tom Mount,,,,looks like a cold cut slicing machine,,I guess bonham and moon.was not good enough
Mapex T 1000 Tom Holder, new for 2100
Russ don't age man. A little hair color dye and it's 1996 all over again, lol...
more gimmicky shit
