dude this is awesome. I can already some construction game where you can build canals, dams, adjust river flows, build a dam that generates energy next to your base etc.
The most amazing part of this is that it's actually extremely efficient, in another video you see that he has 100% locked 240 FPS. How he optimized it that well I have no idea.
Is the plugin used in this map greater than 1024x1024 resolution? I mean, I bought it, but it didn't work on large maps. Has this been improved with any update? The map in this video looks pretty big.
Very nice. What Marketplace assets did you use to create the environment? The landscape looks natural, no LOD popping, maybe that is due to UE 5.1, nice wind on the plants and shrubs, nice trees. Great frame rate. Wonder what you will do with Fluid Flux when version 1.2 is released? Well done.
Hi, and thx a lot for your comment. I dont remember all the asset I used, but for sure a lot of free content delivered by epic, like city park or all the megascan tree collection. Also UltradynamicSky, fluidflux and some more.. The landscape materail is an homemade material layer with megascan texture. Almost all of the statics meshes are nanite, so no LOD. Raytrace and Lumen on.
@@vincenzob3162 It's awesome. Do you think fluid flux can be used in an open world map? Also, the whole thing look pretty heavy. What are the minimum PC specs?
hey, this is looking good :) where can i find the third person controls you are using? with the widget and controls on the lower right of the screen? is this an asset or something custom?
is the third person character that comes with fluid flux. but there is nothing very special about it FF devs add control for zom in/out ragdoll slomo vsync and changing the maps
Build it urself its not so hard.... if u cant even do simple stuff as an information panel and Zooming in and out you better stick to something else brother
@@Sadboi.burningsoul brotheeeeer thats not a very good way to respond to somebody interesting in something technical about what we do if doesnt matter how simple or basic the question can be always ask for learn or help its not a bad thing
Did you need to do some tweaking for Ray tracing getting to work properly? I have some weird shadow issues on trees and such when I use ray traced shadows
I can't believe they haven't fixed that yet, it's something to do with WPO and the mesh for the foliage, the only hack is to make it a blueprint and toggle the "Evaluate WPO" switch.. Go look up William Faucher's UA-cam, he has a video specifically about this

So satisfying to watch ❤
Incredible.
If used in a game can you start with the river fully formed?
