I'd say if they do an "S" model every second year, that'll fix the problem of people not wanting to buy last year's model. In 2 years they could actually innovate.
I feel like they might end up not launching a new flagship next year and instead wait until 2026. The only reason they probably launched the iPhone 16 was probably to put out something that would be properly optimized for what they want to do with Apple Intelligence.
The problem is the competition will not agree and just continue to release phones every year which would put Apple behind and no doubt the competition will call out Apple on this and mark it that they have a new phone every year where Apple only comes out with new phones every two years. Now personally I think all companies should now be on a 2 year cycle we’re at the point now where smart phones have reach their peak and there’s not much more features they can come out with now this goes to all companies phones should now be on a two year cycle this way they have more time to come up with more stuff to add on to the phone and make the new phone seem more of a upgrade from the last phone.
Apple is still using 60Hz on their base models. Complete joke and disappointment... iPhone 16 is the same as the 15, nothing new that people care about.

Samsung's innovation includes the S24 Ultra which is beaten by 16 Pro Max in thermal performance. You are the kind that are seduced by useless gimmicks. Most I've seen on foldables is that they aren't really that durable.
You don't have to buy one every year. Still 15% of US households make 180,000 or more a year. More then 50% of smartphone sales are for iphone in the US.

iPhones "feel" the same since 11. No major innovations since then. And because of this, at least in my country, people keep their 11s and they are quite happy with their phones.
That speaks to how good Apple’s iPhone has been for a while now. You can’t really change the feel of a phone when it’s the same overall dimensions, size, and OS. It’s the familiar feel that keeps the masses coming back.
I've got an iPhone 11 and the original battery is still at 99%. I wanted to upgrade this year but the whole AI crap put me off the iPhone 16 and so I'll probably go for the iPhone 15.
Well, I see your point, but I see the small changes in the iPhone 15 & 16 will help make using my phone easier plus they are slightly more smooth than my iPhone 13
True, for me the iPhone peaked with the iPhone 11. That phone was just so good. Everything that came after provides very little incentive to upgrade. Also, I hate the dynamic island. I'd rather have the notch.
It's better than people realize, cause they updated the thermals. GSM Arena gave the 16 Pro Max a great rating with performance as a result and the S24 Ultra performed pretty poorly in comparison.
I switched from the iphone 13 to the samsung s24plus instead of the 16pro and i havent been dissatisfied at all. Apple stopped trying to be innovative years ago i noticed

Apple is a big joke at this point. Sad that such an amazing company at first resorted to slowing down older models, selling fraying cables of poor quality, accessories for accessories, peripherals for peripherals and miniscule so called improvements for exorbitant prices as a cash grab. Sorry my poor apple friends. I jumped that ship years ago and i would only return of apple seriously commited to real change back to its former glory days of innovation first.
I'm an Android user myself, but I don't see much innovation in Android too in recent years - there are foldables, but the only reason Apple doesn't release foldables too is because it doesn't see big demand.
@@illya_ike when they do something they do it right. This is their strongest selling point. Quality is something everyone wants. But unfortunately their lack of innovation is sorely lagging behind. They should have been the ones releasing foldables five years seven years ago.
That could come down to your battery. I still use an iPhone 8 with iOS 17 and its still as fast and snappy as ever. But now that iOS 18 won't be supported by iphone 8, I'm thinking of upgrading or switching to Android.

In the early days of the iPhone it was easier to justify upgrading frequently, as the improvements were significant. But now the phones are more expensive and the improvements from one year to another are very minor. It makes it hard to justify buying a brand new phone when the one you already have does 99% of what the new one does.
People can afford it, just that everyone's more price-conscious than before. Why shell out $1000+ on a 60hz screen phone when you can get double that refresh rate, and more, at 1/4th of the cost?
@@OneNiftyBoi It's not the whole reason, just a symptom of a bigger picture. A lot of iPhone users buy the latest one as a form of status symbol. But it’s harder to look superior in front of others when they get a better QoL at a fraction of the cost, instead to them you just got ripped off

I think Tim is destroying Apple. That’s my opinion. He only cares about sales . I really think these models will sell worst than the 15s. Camera control and a new chip aren’t enough to upgrade and not to mention all the AI features they talked about that no one knows when they will be released …
You’re entitled to your opinion but we’re talking about a slab phone that they can only do so much with in 1 year. Expecting a major redesign for iPhone 17, but this is basically a 15S which is fine really for most coming from say iPhone 11 12 or 13. The days of feeling the need to upgrade every year have been over. Phones have reached a ceiling for a while now, it’s clear to see that.
@@Toyeboy89 ---- Actually from 15 to 16 is the biggest change they've ever done in both hardware and software. The 16 upgraded every major component from SoC, battery, ease of battery removal, better wi fi, cooling, celular speed, camera wide angle, way better audio for the video cam. Then on the software side the biggest ever update. First AI batch in October, second in December, probably final changes in Mar 2025. Until people see a teardown (which happened 2 days ago) they really have little idea what is up with the phone.
In the early years, it made sense to upgrade the iPhone every couple of years because technology was advancing by leaps and bounds. But in recent years, we've only seen incremental improvements, nothing groundbreaking. So, many users are keeping their phones for 5 years or more, including me. This year's iPhone 16 is a bore. There are only two standout features: (1) Apple Intelligence (which isn't even ready for prime time yet), and (2) the Camera Control button. For most users, this button is superfluous and unnecessary. In fact, Steve Jobs must be spinning in his grave like a lathe. We should not be adding another button to the device. If anything, we should be REMOVING a button. Simplicity and elegance were always the Apple ethos under Jobs. As for AI, I don't expect it to fulfill its promise for another year or two. Right now, it is more gimmicky than utilitarian.
Apple back in a day was an innovator, nowadays they are worse than Chinese cheap brands which are the ones innovating with some 200W charging or thermal cameras in normal phones or some flip mechanisms or ridiculous 5000mah batteries, apple acts like they invented something while in reality they just add some minor improvement, I was long iphone user then switched to Google pixel, got burned a little by crashes and instability, then switched to Samsung s23 and I'm never going back, flagship androids are new iPhone from years back equivalents
Horrido --- Perhaps you can share with me why people who don't know what they're talking about insist upon invoking Steve Jobs' name? During his lifetime the best Apple did in iPhone sales was 2011 when they sold 47 billion dollars worth. During the last 3 years Apple has averaged sales of 198 billion dollars. If Steve were with us he would hardly believe how fast and popular iPhone has gotten.
@@bruxi78230 I know what I'm talking about. Your comment is insulting and ignorant. Steve Jobs' vision made the iPhone a success. Everybody appreciated that. Ever since then, Apple has been riding the coattails of Apple's cachet as a status symbol. The ecosystem is a huge factor, too. But technically, Apple has fallen well behind its competitors. Desperate attempts to innovate leads to questionable things like new buttons.
@@horridohobbies ----- You know I don't see any numbers or proof for what you're saying. Only internet memes that are easy to prove untrue. Steve was clearly a unique talent, nobody disputes that. And Tim knew Steve extremely well he and Jony Ive were his closest advisors. Tim knew the Jobs playbook inside out, and has followed it exactly since Steve passed away. He has grown the company more than 10X since 2011. That is not a company "that has fallen behind". Companies do not grow when they fall behind. Apple just recently in June explained their very innovative approach to AI. There are several generic problems with AI that scare many consumers away. First is data security, they are not comfortable shipping their personal data across the open internet, nor should they be. Apple will be doing the majority of AI on device and storing the sensitive data in the Secure Enclave. The second piece is to make available medium sized models with more capability in Secure Cloud Compute. These are servers that don't store people's requests, only provide answers. It runs on Apple silicon in data centers that use renewable electricity. Unlike every other AI provider Apple has a huge advantage not buying crazy expensive electricity on public networks. That's what innovation is all about, doing different things that benefit the consumer in their use of AI.
I think the new button for capture and etc. Only work for shooting-games and camera seems ok if it is implemented correct, but i agree that this year the iPhone is not complete in anyway with the iOS 18 releasing later... I wanted to buy the 16 pro max but i am now waiting for more implementation and reviews.. i have a hard time with the pricing at the moment... Galaxy s25 is also on the door steps in January and May.. i am holding up a bit with my OnePlus 8... The ram is on iPhone 16 lineup is also 8gb which i find very low particularly when AI has been said to require memory hungry... But again depending on how much is being done on the phone or in the cloud...
My iPhone 13 Pro Max still works. The newer phones last longer and are built better, as many apps really don't need massive computing power. Now that being said, I'll most likely get an iPhone 17, mainly due to the camera updates.
Brian, that's the definition of an insignificant small sample. At the end of October they announce worldwide every sale (adjusted for returns and exchanges) for the September quarter. Then the end of January for the most important December quarter. That's when we find out what they've actually done. Until then you have a bunch of opinions of folks (like Ming Chi Kuo) that do not know the real answer.
Yeah this video is misleading, 2021 to 2023 are the three highest years of sale for the iPhone with 2021 being the highest. It funny, because Samsung sales have dropped way more than iPhones
My first and biggest issue with Apple their prices. They just add their prices and their old models still maintain hight prices even after years. This is just too much
It won't collapse, but they are destroying their reputation. The 'sheeps' are awakening. Instead of actually trying to improve phone quality, their main focus have been set on increasing revenue, all because of Tim. The Iphone 16 will indeed cause great decrease in sales tho, which I agree.
Answer me this. How do you expect them to have anything cool for iPhone 17 if they do everything now? There is a ceiling to smartphone tech and it’s very obvious they’ve hit near the top there’s little else they can do with a slab phone around 6 inches. To really impress with innovation they’re going to have to go into a foldable or rollable display but that tech is not durable enough for Apple’s massive production scale.
@@Toyeboy89 So provide 60 Hz display for $1k phone, with no to minimum upgrade and decide to call it a brand new phone? No thank you. And if they don’t even try experimenting with new technologies, how can there even be any kind of innovation? Playing safe doesn’t always give good results.
@@SBR_2027 60hz isn't important to casuals, but battery life is. A 120hz refresh rate hurts battery life. It's definitely less important to the majority of people over battery life. Apple has to save some features for the iPhone Pro's to try to upsell. Those who care or even notice the refresh rate can get an iPhone Pro. Apple is most likely experimenting in foldables, but they are not comfortable where the tech is at yet. I'm not either. The Fold 5 I had was too fragile and the crease was hideous.
My sister bought an iPhone 16 plus 256GB yesterday. I told her that 60Hz panel for such an expensive device is unjustified. Even lower end of mid range android phones have a 120Hz Amoled display these days.
Nowadays, smartphones are built with excellent quality and long-lasting stability, often receiving software updates for 4-7 years. Because of this, I don’t see the need for new models to be released annually, as reducing the frequency could help lower GHG emissions. I’ve had my iPhone 14 Pro for 2 years now, and it still runs perfectly. My plan is to keep using it until 2030, or until it’s no longer compatible with the financial apps I need.
Have a ifone8 plus, still running fine, except battery is now not working well. If Apple did not have this stupid policy of no repair, I could easily extend it with a replacement battery
Honestly what bothers me is that apple could make better products than what they are releasing. Like putting AI only on 16, 16 pro and 15 pro. Its bs that they could not put on 14 pro or 15. Also not making bezelless phones, just shrinking them year by year. Like just make the best phone you possible can. Like in the good old days. Ten years ago if you bought a new iPhone you could use to more things, it had a new innovative design, nowadays is just the same phone every year. I like Apple but I dont like being viewed as a fool.
The smartphone market in general has matured this isn’t Apple’s fault. Early phones were horribly slow and kept leaving a lot to be desired. After around iPhone 7 they got very fast and casuals really could use that device for years only needing to replace the battery. Reviewers are very critical of them because they have all of them and they’ve been good for so long incremental changes are hard to see when you have been spoiled with the latest and greatest for the entire previous year.
I always hear that Apple is dominating in chip performance and ecosystem integration. Dude, forget the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Even the Exynos 2400 is far better than the A16, which was released around the same time. It literally opens apps faster and performs much better. You guys are still living in the Apple bubble. If you don't believe me, check the benchmark scores and processor comparisons from a non-Apple fanboy. The ecosystem argument is even funnier. Samsung has a whole range of household products like ACs, washing machines, and TVs, and you say Apple is better in that area? Please, get out of that Apple bubble.
Apple does dominate not only in mobile SoCs but also SiPs and secondary chips like battery controllers. They just recently rolled out a new server OS for use in AI. This means they don't have to employ huge numbers power hungry Nvidia servers. Because of this Apple will run the Private Cloud Compute in data centers which run on renewable energy they're not dependent upon expensive power from public networks. Also their architecture ensures the privacy that customers have come to expect. In terms of Samsung the Exynos 2400 is such a joke that Samsung this year is not putting it in their high-end Galaxies. They are using expensive Snapdragons where Qualcomm makes out like a bandit, and poor Sammy makes next to no profit. Apple has a huge economy of scale advantage on the mobile chips. Samsung sells approximately 25 million high-end phones per year. At the same time Apple between iPhone, iPad, and Macs sells close to 300 million all using the same family of chips. The profitability question is heavily skewed in Apple's favor. Over the last 3 years Apple has averaged 98 billion per year in net profit. Last year for example Samsung had a profit of 11 billion usd, 3/4 of that profit are generated through component sales. Samsung devices only generated around 2.5 billion in profits, an extremely meagre sum compared to Apple. Now before you ask the question, I'll answer what most people ask. Why are profits an advantage for customers? The answer is simple, from profits tech companies dedicate a large amount of money into R&D. R&D is where innovation comes from. Tech companies need constant innovation. Apple can easily afford the 29 billion they spent last year on R&D and their main competitor Samsung can come nowhere close to that. It's estimated that Samsung spent about 8 billion in R&D on devices. Yet as I mentioned their devices only generated 2.5 billion in profits. This forces upper management to make difficult decisions such as continuously cutting the R&D budget.
@@BrettK-e3k Some Android fanboys think they’re relevant. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon and Google’s Android software are what literally carry the entire Android smartphone market. On the other hand, Apple designs both its hardware and software in-house. It’s far better in my opinion. Of course apple price is 💩 and their repair situation in all these years but here in the EU they will kick all these companies if they don’t change in the future. USB-C is only one thing and not enough.
The thing is "the smartphone" its in its mature form , its very dificult to make it better , off couerse there are better screens ,cameras, chipset, but the product dont chage too much year by year
I am on the Fibonacci upgrade cycle. I move from the 8 to the 13 and am now waiting for the 21 and then the 34 as my final iPhone. This plan ensures maximum value with minimal outlay. I get the most persistent stable feature wile spending the least amount of money on a new iPhone.
Still got my iPhone 12 Pro and I don’t intend to change anytime soon. The only strong pull I feel is the USB-C in order to get rid of my lightning cables but that’s pretty much it
They are strategic; They dont want to release a new iPhone every 2nd year, because the competitors will exploit this, and they will lose money if they make big upgrades each year on their iPhone as consumers wont upgrade every year regardless.
I have an iPhone 12 I got refurbished a few years back. It saved me some money doing that. So why would I upgrade? The new phones do nothing for me that this phone doesn’t already do. And I save money.
The usb c port is a great thing. Similar to when the USA had rules that said all new cars had to have 5 inch or 7 inch round headlights. That rule led to headlights becoming really cheap through the stimulation of third party suppliers.

I have iphone 5, and jump to 11. After that, been thinking wanna upgrade my iphone to 15 or 16. However, since these two years, i saw that apple didn't offer much of innovation or gave a lit of upgrade features in the newest iphone. All the video circulating in the youtube convince me to upgrade to android. Thankyou apple for opening my eyes more to android
If they would either bring the 120Hz refresh rate to the base model or the good colors to max I would have upgraded by now. Still thinking about it but my 12 Pro Max is still working just fine.

No need to upgrade every yeAr … but still nothing to beat iPhone- it’s display doesn’t strain the eye like Samsung and others… also the sound Is very smooth whereas the others cause slow loss of hearing
Simplicity?????? Nothing is simple and straight forward. My wife and daughter have iphones (most of the rest of our family is Android) and picking up the iphone and trying to do anything on it is cumbersome.
So many downsides for Apple nw. I better switch back to Android. At least u can see ur phone settings. In app diagnostic to chk ur phone for errors. U cannot do that for iphone.
When I put a new battery into my iPhone 11 the Apple software said “unknown battery” and refused to report the Wear Level or anything technical about it. This made the phone unsaleable. I have kept the iPhone 11 ever since and I will keep it until it can’t be used any more. It runs the latest iOS. So Apple has lost a lot of money I would have spent buying newer phones. The iPhone 11 suits me fine…even if it doesn’t have the latest and greatest features.
The wife and I have switched to foldable phones: Z fold 6 1TB and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold 512 GB. We are not stuck in any ecosystem as I have built a Synology NAS server at home (120TB) that acts as a cloud for our Video, pictures, files, notes , calendar, 8 security camera 24 hour non stop footage, etc. Our home network is WiFi 7 and the home is wired with CAT 8 cables throughout. Network speed is limited to 10 Gbe which is the speed of our router and switches. Our home internet connection is 3 Gbe up and down. We do not subscribe to any cloud services. We are well aware that Apple devices are deep rooted with subscription services. Android, however, based on our usage also has some cloud options but we have them all turned off. At this point I don't think we will be buying anything from Apple anytime soon.
In some countries, the demand might have been decreasing, but in some developing countries, the demand is increasing like India and other countries. Not just iPhone but for expensive brands.
Fun fact: IPhone sales are on the increase as of when this video came out. Therefore one may classify this entire video as either clickbait or a ‘schizo post’, or both. 😂
😂 its not that smartphones are boring now but what we do with them is reached to its saturation, buying fold will not make it any different. You will be bored with fold too

Plus the small form factor when folded makes it easy to place it in your pocket.
Well, cellphone sales in general are collapsing due to the increasingly bad economy almost worldwide. People don't even have money to splurge on even medium-priced cellphones.
sales for both android and iphones are both rising, androids even more so than iphones, this is due to higher levels of global economic prosperity, making it so that more and more people have access to phones.

Apple's has mastered the "Illusion of Deception! But when you think about the evolution of the iPhone ( with the exception of the first gen) when was the iPhone ever innovative? They have cooked up relatively the same recipe (other than size differences) year after year? The iPhone 6 and 6 plus was the first time Apple offered two different sized phones, and that trend continues on to this day? Throw in the discontinued SE, the short lived 12 mini, and XR variants, and you are left with the regular, Pro, and Pro Max? Less money for the regular, more money for the Pro, and much more money for the Pro Max? Apple has been on this schedule for a while now? Same phones....snail- paced innovation....more money? The " Illusion of Deception".....and all you iPhoner's fall for it...EVERY SINGLE YEAR😅😂😊
Back then it was different they kept adding stuff but what do you do when everything got added and to the Iphone and it’s perfect you leave it alone off course and just make faster chips bigger batteries I mean what else are they going to do make the phone fly and if Apple adds a finger print scanner it would be a security breach because then anyone can download there finger print over riding the passcode and face recognition features.
My wife recently bought the OnePlus 12 and I just bought the Honor Magic v3. Both phones are equally fantastic so Apple definitely have more competitions.
I just think that thanks to the internet, people are starting to see right through companies, celebrities, “influencers”, etc When it comes to the iPhone specifically, people are only upgrading after a long time with a previous phone. In the past people were upgrading every 1 to 2 years. Now it’s every 4-6 years hence why it seems like “iPhone sales are collapsing”. People are still buying but at a much much slower rate
Honestly, I loved apple had a 14 pro max. I dont see myself upgrading for the 16p.m. instead with all thats going on right now, i have decided to move to Samsung end of this year, very disappointed with apple ☹️☹️
I bought a new iPhone pro max every year until the 14. Removal of the sim tray made iPhone irrelevant. Scamsung has not been an option for a decade or more. Their persistent willingness to bloat the devices with spy ware, bloat ware that can not be uninstalled is unexcusable. Software that can not be disabled or uninstalled, particularly uninstalled by the owner of the device is unforgivable. And should not be tolerated by any device owner. There is only one current android maker that I pay attention to. And if they ever go the route of iPhone or Scamsung. I will be ditching them as quickly as I am ditching iPhone. I think if OnePlus had built the 13 with a large central camera mound like the Open. That I like very much. In a single slab like all their other phones. But in the 6.8 inch size, and in the same build quality of the Open. I think it would be hard to ignore. Sadly it looks like OP has opted for a slight upgrade over the 12 and while some hardware has been improved. The overall device has not been improved to the point of being able to call this a full upgrade. It's like the iPhone 10. To the iPhone 10s. The OP12 to the OP12s. Calling it the 13 is a slap in the face. No matter what improvements they say have been made.
I believe people are looking at phones the wrong way. They’re looking at it from the enthusiast perspective vs the fact that phone hardware is very mature and people aren’t buying phones yearly. Many buy through their provider which locks them into a two year contract. What’s the selling point now is software as you can do far more with that. Foldable phones might be the future but they’re both too expensive and aren’t durable. And the companies that do have them don’t have great support like AppleCare. That huawei foldable with 3 screens cracks or the folding mechanism damages the screen and you’re going to have to pay a lot to fix it.
I’m still using my iPhone 14 in purple which I gotten on Black Friday 2022. I had it fixed in February for a couple of weeks. I was using a 14 Pro for 2 weeks. It was a little bit heavy for me. I got it back from repairing the charging port was broken up. I even had it unavailable for almost 2 weeks in the month of July. It took me a while to figured it out. When I finally did fixed my iPhone and I felt liked having a new iPhone just after I fixed it. My carrier didn’t helped me because it is an Apple product. They do have iPhones and they can fix them. Even have Android phones, too. I still liked my carrier since it is very close to where I lived. I have been going to them for almost 25 years for my first cell phone. I still wanted a pink iPhone as my next iPhone. I’m not too bored with the placement of the cameras. I do want to see if the cases that might fit the 16. I’m not sure it will or not.
Apple isn't losing any money. They have a strangle hold on the US market. Plus every phone company comes out with a new phone each year. If you need to upgrade,OK. If not, don't... Pretty simple. Don't understand why people get up in arms over there not being major redesigns.

You know what Apple needs, right? Competition. Bring a brand new Chinese phone to America. So that the iPhone is not lazy to innovate
In my opinion, there is no need to release new model every year.
I'd say if they do an "S" model every second year, that'll fix the problem of people not wanting to buy last year's model. In 2 years they could actually innovate.
Agreed. A phone each year waters down the product.
Same with cars
I feel like they might end up not launching a new flagship next year and instead wait until 2026. The only reason they probably launched the iPhone 16 was probably to put out something that would be properly optimized for what they want to do with Apple Intelligence.
The problem is the competition will not agree and just continue to release phones every year which would put Apple behind and no doubt the competition will call out Apple on this and mark it that they have a new phone every year where Apple only comes out with new phones every two years. Now personally I think all companies should now be on a 2 year cycle we’re at the point now where smart phones have reach their peak and there’s not much more features they can come out with now this goes to all companies phones should now be on a two year cycle this way they have more time to come up with more stuff to add on to the phone and make the new phone seem more of a upgrade from the last phone.

iPhones "feel" the same since 11.

I love the color but nothing justifies me spending that much money for a colorful phone that will be hidden in a case anyways.

My first and biggest issue with Apple their prices. They just add their prices and their old models still maintain hight prices even after years. This is just too much
Because of 60hz on basic models still.

@@norbertnagy7464 there's no ai. You're buying an empty candy wrapper.
Please, get out of that Apple bubble.
ecosystem arguments makes no sense. my dad literally has his whole house controlled off his phone, apple aint doing that😂
Apple does dominate not only in mobile SoCs but also SiPs and secondary chips like battery controllers.

The thing is "the smartphone" its in its mature form , its very dificult to make it better , off couerse there are better screens ,cameras, chipset, but the product dont chage too much year by year
Exactly this.
There is no need to upgrade your phone annually. Apple knows this, so they don’t change the phones much
Still got my iPhone 12 Pro and I don’t intend to change anytime soon. The only strong pull I feel is the USB-C in order to get rid of my lightning cables but that’s pretty much it
This is actually a positive for Apple users, they’ve been making good phones for a long time now.
In my opinion, at least new major upgrade in every 2 years is better.
The way you speak reminds me of a stereotypical smug rich boy in a show.
They are strategic; They dont want to release a new iPhone every 2nd year, because the competitors will exploit this, and they will lose money if they make big upgrades each year on their iPhone as consumers wont upgrade every year regardless.
Strategic or ran out of ideas. Why Apple afraid of foldable display screen?
I have an iPhone 12 I got refurbished a few years back. It saved me some money doing that. So why would I upgrade? The new phones do nothing for me that this phone doesn’t already do. And I save money.
You know what Apple needs, right? Competition. Bring a brand new Chinese phone to America. So that the iPhone is not lazy to innovate
nobody wants chynese garbage.
I’m still rocking an iPhone 8 Pro and still don’t have a reason to upgrade
I am so tired of everybody’s complaining….it’s ridiculous.
The usb c port is a great thing. Similar to when the USA had rules that said all new cars had to have 5 inch or 7 inch round headlights. That rule led to headlights becoming really cheap through the stimulation of third party suppliers.
such an overrated phone,, if there's only one android phone manufacturer,, iphone's market share would be a joke...
honestly im waiting for one ofthe big phone brands just announce "we're now releasing new model every 2 years"....but considering they all answer to shareholdres, i doubt this will ever happen.
The Samsung S24+ is way better than the i phone samsung is the Goat!!
C’mon guys there is only so much you can change these days in a phone. Faster chip, faster and better quality camera ! That’s about it.
Huawei: Hold my beer.
You should work at Apple.
If they would either bring the 120Hz refresh rate to the base model or the good colors to max I would have upgraded by now. Still thinking about it but my 12 Pro Max is still working just fine.
Iphones is a past
I own an iPhone 12 mini, it's very disappointing to say the least. Now it is at the end of it's life - no longer receiving updates. It's only a few years old... I regret buying it.
It’s the price
No need to upgrade every yeAr … but still nothing to beat iPhone- it’s display doesn’t strain the eye like Samsung and others… also the sound Is very smooth whereas the others cause slow loss of hearing
Everybody always loves iPhone ❤, it’s simplicity and smooth operational are the main reasons.
except me....
.i don't hate iphone and i don't want to have iphone 😂
Its apples fault for building the iphone to be still usable and last a minimum of 4 years
Simplicity?????? Nothing is simple and straight forward. My wife and daughter have iphones (most of the rest of our family is Android) and picking up the iphone and trying to do anything on it is cumbersome.
Kinda 5 years late to the party here. Rapid upgrading stopped somewhere around iPhone 11 or 12.
Why buy an iphone when you already have a 14 and 15 . People are gonna upgrade maybe 2 or 3 years from now.
So many downsides for Apple nw. I better switch back to Android. At least u can see ur phone settings. In app diagnostic to chk ur phone for errors. U cannot do that for iphone.
@@patrickng8328 yeah, I feel like people buy iphone for luxury, experience and lure, now ,the lure and experience are no more.
Apple died way back when “Black got buried”. 😂😂😂 Or when “Steve had Jobs”.
But right now I think that “Tim been cooked” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tim has "stewed" his Apple ... 😂🤣😂
Apple got better actually after him
@@Toyeboy89 they just want to offend Apple users while themselves probably type from Huawei, Xiaomi, Poco, Realme, Vivo or some other cheap trash

iPhone 16 Would Look like a Se Model if They Don't Add 2 Cameras at The Back!
Same hardware with a few software upgrades. Why bother? Tesla Pi- it's time for fresh competition to put apple down a notch or two.
Who “upgrades” their vehicle every year for one that looks exactly the same??
Come on Apple, do your homework 🙄🙄
In some countries, the demand might have been decreasing, but in some developing countries, the demand is increasing like India and other countries. Not just iPhone but for expensive brands.
Fun fact: IPhone sales are on the increase as of when this video came out. Therefore one may classify this entire video as either clickbait or a ‘schizo post’, or both. 😂
lol I just got my first pro phone well kinda I get it on Friday I’m so excited I’m upgrading from the 12
@@imdurk6698 happy for you bro! enjoy it.
It’s the same boring phone… I’ve been an Apple user since iPhone 5…. Now I’m switching to galaxy z Fold dual screen!!
See you in 6 months 🤣
😂 its not that smartphones are boring now but what we do with them is reached to its saturation, buying fold will not make it any different. You will be bored with fold too
iPhone 16 is so boring Google copied iPhone design this year with Pixel 9. Majority of Android enthusiast are just people who secretly love iPhone.
@@mayurwalavalkar9219 Not quite true. I bought a flip phone. The way it functions when its partly folded offers a different interactive experience. It also runs a destop type application on your TV which is amazing. Great when traveling and staying in hotels as you can use the TV to view movies, documents, maps etc. Flip phones make phones fun. Plus the small form factor when folded makes it easy to place it in your pocket.
Ultra is better than fold and more durable. Folding system can be damaged
I’m ditching my iPhone 14 Pro for Sony Xperia.
Well, cellphone sales in general are collapsing due to the increasingly bad economy almost worldwide. People don't even have money to splurge on even medium-priced cellphones.
I returned mine. Action button was annoying enough, but this camera button is intolerable.. yes, I can disable it but that cut out is annoying me😊
Hate to break it to all the sad Androids but that graph is trending upwards and looks like it's about to break resistance and take off.
sales for both android and iphones are both rising, androids even more so than iphones, this is due to higher levels of global economic prosperity, making it so that more and more people have access to phones.
@@oliverno.1284 Exactly, and Apple will always be the premium option and Android will always be Toyota, solid, dependable and cheaper, but not premium

You do understand, sales are more important for how many units they are push out... If the sales are declining and million units are being pushed out but NO ONE is buying = sales decreased > units will slowly come down
@@obamium8150 Yes, except they are still selling out so people are still buying.
Sadly its true.
still declining

I’m done with iPhone. Switched to a 12PM back in early 2021 and it was good, upgraded to a 14PM thanks to a promo and it was good. But man, they’ve really fallen behind. Just got an S24 Ultra and it is SO MUCH BETTER. Other than turning chat bubbles green, I have zero regrets.
I’m happy with my 12 works well still
6:33 "Love the price" 💀
The price: $999
Sorry apple. Bought a Motorola a couple of years ago (paid around $350) and it has more features than and is simpler to use than ANY apple phone.
Yeah because no one can afford them. Even if you can, why get a new one when there’s legit no difference from an iPhone that is 1,2,3 or 4 generations older than the one that just came out😀
Clickbait, another Apple is doomed video. Yeah, sure that is why they are the richest company in the world.
i think this time is not. The iPhone 16 is not really that good. is just meh at best
Apple is not doomed, but it is losing sales. The iPhone user base is shrinking. There are better alternatives out there.
Not just Apple though, Unlike before, the whole phone market is over saturated.
search Nokia and check the parallels in business attitude, the world is changing and Apple is not.
@@hostagnathoma6364 The phone hasn't even been released yet and people of saying it is bad, that is so stupid. How can you judge a product you haven't even used yet.
Shipments of 16 and 16 plus are up on last year but down on the pro models. There is now less difference between the versions so why pay extra?
The " Illusion of Deception".....and all you iPhoner's fall for it...EVERY SINGLE YEAR😅😂😊
apple is a joke to our technology of our world. thats why i moved to Galaxy products.

I just think that thanks to the internet, people are starting to see right through companies, celebrities, “influencers”, etc
When it comes to the iPhone specifically, people are only upgrading after a long time with a previous phone. In the past people were upgrading every 1 to 2 years. Now it’s every 4-6 years hence why it seems like “iPhone sales are collapsing”. People are still buying but at a much much slower rate
To many models (from iPhone plus ,ultra ,max etc instead keep it simple have three product line model AIR , Basic and Pro )
I’m still thinking on the 15 in pink for my next iPhone. I still want to used the cases that I have for my iPhone 14. Some cases that are in pink or have a little of pink in color. I still wanted a pink iPhone as my next iPhone. I’m not too bored with the placement of the cameras. I do want to see if the cases that might fit the 16. I’m not sure it will or not.
I guess moving the iPhone factory to India and Vietnam was a bad idea, 50% failure rate is actually impressive.
Apple isn't losing any money. They have a strangle hold on the US market. Plus every phone company comes out with a new phone each year. If you need to upgrade,OK. If not, don't... Pretty simple. Don't understand why people get up in arms over there not being major redesigns.
I want to buy iPhone but no custom 3p apps allowed is biggest problem for me personally, also usb type c with fast data transfer and lack of sd card.
you know what's crazy i have never updated my iPhone 11 black 64GB I'm still on IOS 14 so when ever a new iPhone comes I don't see my phone slow down at all. IDk if that how it works but my has never slowed down not once.
Well actually if you don’t update your phone won’t slow down. The concerning thing is app support, but yeah if your phone is on old iOS it will retain it’s speed
Very fair comments about iPhone and comparisons, both thubms up!
also, they're holding the stocks in the KDRs and I witnessed it as a sales promoter in an electronics store. today in Dubai, it's the launch date but many people who have pre-ordered refunded their money due to stock issues. imagine in a store, only 26 pcs have been delivered. another thing, the Apple Intelligence will be in full swing by next year.
Iphone 16: New feature!!...you can now pause and resume video recording 😃
Iphone 17: New feature!!!...you can now switch from back to front camera, and vice versa while recording. 🤦🏾♂️
Do you think that price per unit has nothing to do with it? In the last few generations the Iphone went up in price significantly
They’re way overpriced as well. You can buy a 75 inch TV plus a laptop for cheaper than you can buy some iPhones nowadays…it’s nuts 😂
Well, there are still people out there who’s excited about this. I am still excited for this! Im currently using iPhone 14pro and very excited to upgrade. 🥰
