Don’t you just love his honesty when he said ‘I don’t know what to do with these plants so I’ll just leave them there for the time being.” Truly enjoyed your garden John. Thank you!
Great to see Geranium Anne Thomson and Rozanne. I planted them thanks to you and they look absolutely stunning. It's hard for me to cut them back also. They flower from April till October.
I just lost a probably 90-100 year old red single peony from my GreatGrandmother's 1920's farm. My Mother transplanted it everywhere she lived and I did too, but one too many times. They are gone but not forgotten.
I love everything you post. Thank you. So unpretentious but extremely informative. I have learned so much from your channel. I live in the US on the East Coast (New Jersey)and so far most of your plants have done well here.
John I have only recently discovered these videos you are a true plantsman a real joy to watch I really admire your enthusiasm and passion for plants and your knowledge of plants is mind blowing and inspiring, keep up the great work, I will definitely be tuning in from here on in. Thank You !
Love that very tall foxglove... beautiful! That hydrangea aspera 'Hot Chocolate' looks awesome, I don't think I've seen one before, nice dark foliage. Cheers to our Ancestors and summer solstice!
I really enjoy your videos John. I'm always looking for the plants you list as I'm watching. It is a great way to learn the plants and find things I've not seen before.
Hello from NYS, USA! As always a great video. I wanted Hydrangea aspera Hot Chocolate from when I saw it in an earlier video here. Can’t find it ☹️. Higgledy Piggledy has always been my style in gardening and everything else in life. Thank you very much, the kitten looks very cute.
I have so many plants in my garden that came from what you shared, I'm building a great garden with your help....and am determined one day to visit your garden centre 😊
Looked like a lively Continus behind the Knautia .. planted mine last year ... this year was the year of our 17 year Cicadas so I'll expect great/better things from it next year.
Dear John I know you don't answer questions, but do you cut cut the blooms off the peony flowers I've great big pink ones, and I was thinking if cut them would more flowers appear x love the Roses. I have compassion climber, it's in full bloom and fantastic scent. God bless 🌿I just adore that garden it's glorious.
Leonardo da Vinci rose is a particularly hardy & robust rose. While it has no perfume it is smothered in candy pink roses from spring to late autumn. I grew it in a very windy garden and never had to stake it.
Please do a video on dahlia's when they are in bloom. I want to plant some more in my yard but I have alot to learn to go beyond begginrers luck. Of course, that's Seattle WA USA area but it's one world as we're all growing some of the same things in our yards/gardens.
Did you get the lemon peony in yet john, i went all the way from wexford to see your garden and was very impressed it was beautiful. We seen the peony and the wife fell in love with it but they were all sold out.
Piggle-lee Wiggle-lee gardening. Another JL volcabulary words. You need a put your ingenious volcabulary onto T-shirts so your groupies can purchase them.

I'm not John, but I do cut mine off because they are unsightly. They will not rebloom but will look better.
Nor am I John Lord but I also cut off the finished blooms so the plant doesn’t have to expend energy with unnecessary seed production.
@@dennistaft7868 Thank you so much ❤ for replying.
@@laurenb6451 Thank you so much for your time and support 🌹
Sometimes JL does reply but I’d guess it’s the busy season & he doesn’t have time.
Always a joy to watch your videos, interesting and entertaining. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊

This is the first time I have heard JL talk about his wife. I wonder if we will ever get to meet MRS. LORD.
Didnt she help him dig up an overgrown Acer in a previous video
Nautia Thunder and Lightning is beautiful
Is that the variegated one? Have not been able to find it in my area yet.

When you put plants away in your shed for winter, do you need to water or do anything to them? Thanks
🤗🤗🤗🤠🌹
Do you feed it
What type of maple is that?
💜
I the best John
🙋♀️❤
Well now we know he has a wife!
In the past Mrs. Lord commented.
Second garden, you’re being greedy now😂😂😂
Funny how wife's are always right
Don't you have trouble with black spot on your roses in Ireland? Defoliates most roses here in Georgia USA. Except maybe the Knock-outs
