Thank you! In my case the 2 black pins on the outside stock to the car frame instead of the cover. Had to pull them out of the frame and insert them to the cover for easier assembly. Thank you again!
My rubber molding around the light assembly has come off, but now I see how to get in there. These parts are always a mother to get off, with those plastic clips. Thanks!
great vid! now i can check if mine is a bulb issue or wiring. too bad though, i need a different bulb, was hoping it was the same as their park lights which is the same in the rear
Thank you! Great tutorial. Will be replacing it this week. Hope panel comes off “easily”. Is the light bulb the same as for your 2006 CRV tutorial with a single filament?
The rear turn signals are hard to see from behind, especially when sun is shining on them. Is there a super bright bulb option for them? Or can an extra turn signal light be added somehow? I'm tired of people almost running into me and then blowing their horns because they don't see my light blinking. (or maybe they just don't know what a turn signal light is?)
Hey I just realized this vid is for a 2007 and my CR-V is 2006. It looks like they reconfigured the turn signal so that it is down lower & easier to see from behind. Wow.
Mine was flickering for months until it no longer worked. When I took it to Honda they said they needed to replace the whole LED light, cost me $200. This video makes me wonder if they ripped me off.
No. Yours is the LED version. The one in this video is the old incandescent bulb version which is not in production anymore. These incandescent bulbs cost $2 plus labour (DIY is free). I just changed mine about mins ago
@@jimhanson8370 Older cars tend to be easier to work on that newer cars. These days, it takes a while to get into some things with some cars. For example, some cars have eliminated the transmission fluid dipstick, whereas a 2nd-gen CR-V and others have one.
Great tutorial! Exactly what I was looking for and replaced bulb in daughters CR-V in 7-8 minutes with the help of this video. Thanks

How do I fix rear defogger on the glass
Hi how are you can you plz upload the video how to fix honda crv 2009 number plate light new plz. Thankyou
Thanks for watching.
2007-2011. 2012 and later models have an LED circuit board.
Thanks! But... The be careful when it’s cold would’ve been better at the beginning of the video.
Go for the “LL”. (long life bulb)
Mechanically it is a great car, but the stupid plastic clips that break are a bad design Honda
Dang. Taking out the high mount brake light on a 2nd-gen CR-V is a lot easier than this.
What’s your point?
