How could I check if the drivers side window switch is bad on the drivers master switch - 2008 Subaru Forester, without taking the door apart? Thanks

You will have to take out the switch or open the door panel

Wonder why the bulb looks dead when I hit the brakes-but lights up when I switch the headlights on..?.. circuitry issues?

Because, the bulb he changed is not the break light/stop light bulb. He didn't test the break to see if the bulb change fixed it. The actual break bulb is the second bulb down from the top!

Would have been a great video but we can't see what your doing. It's either out of the frame or you need to be close up to show better detail. Have someone film it. Tripod stationary filming doesn't get it
