Any advice how how to reduce or stop water tap hummer noise ?
start by changing out the washers then when add new squash the end of the stem of the tap washer a fraction so makes the stem fit tighter in to the spindle. depending on which taps too you could use a water hammer arrestor.

Probably a silly question but if drilling into the wall to fasten the cistern is there a chance of hitting pipes or are the pipes usually located lower? Just wanted to double check before I have a go
Hey mate, no I've not come across it before but hey always a 1st for everything. Just make sure you screw into a stud if possible regardless if it doesn't line up with the holes in the cistern just make a new one. 1 good screw into a stud is better than 2 screwed into gyprock or cemet sheeting.

Hi there, if you mean the cistern its Tradelinks homebrand but I wouldn't recommend them anymore. Reece base cistern is to me a better product for a budget cistern
