Fun fact: Brian May, the lead guitarist for Queen plays his guitar with a coin and always has. Also made that guitar by hand with his dad from a 100 year old fireplace mantle when he was like 16. It's the only guitar he's ever used for a song or show really. Most likely the most valuable guitar in the world.

Queen is unique: each member has written a song that has got to Number One in the charts. With today's level of "talent", can't see anyone equalling that.
PS; songs in those days lasted 3-3 minutes at most. They were told that radio DJs would never play a song as long as this. Ha.
here in the Philippines, Bohemian Rhapsody was everywhere in Sunday on the Radio.

@@rob_3417 I'm going to assume my sarcasm didn't come through to you. Three other people got it
1st part: a man has commmited homicide and will be put to death, so he's saying goodbye to his crying mother, whose whipping is represented by the guitar solo.
2nd: "I see a little silhouette..." the man is at the Gates of Hell (Thunderbolt and Lightning... )but he's still fighting, along with his mother's prayers for salvation: "I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me / He's just a poor boy from a poor family, spare his life from this monstruosity"
3rd: "Bismillah!" means "In the Name of God", which marks the entry of angels and begins the battle for this poor soul: "We will not let you go / Let him go! Bismillah!..."
4th: "So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye?" The demons are angry and losing, and he's "just gonna get outta here". Angels win the battle and the man is forgiven.
wow! u gave me goosebombs that was awsome
do cristians say bisnilah. because muslim say it.
My understanding of the song is a bit different, but I'll admit I might be wrong. I understood the first part the way you did. The second part, "I see a little silhouetto of a man..." I always understood to be the character's trial, where the town/community is rallying around him, "spare him his life from this monstrosity," and the court saying, "no, we will not let him go" and arguing with the community. The third part, "so you think you can stone me and spit in my eye," is the character raging at the court for refusing to hear his argument, that his crime was justified, and instead just condemning him to death, without even considering evidence, just because he's a poor and undesirable citizen (as opposed to the rich and influential members of the court.) And the final part, "nothing really matters," is the character being led to the gallows, having finally accepted his unjust fate.
See I always took the Bismillah and “spare him his life from this monstrosity” and “will you let me go”’ parts as the jury deliberating about whether to send him to the chair or not. I suppose the song is open to all sorts of interpretation, interesting take on the song I’d never considered though!
This song was written about deciding to come out as a gay man. Freddy killed his hetero persona....
I'm seriously stunned everytime someone says they don't know the legends Queen, they made Rock you, Bohemian Rhapsody amzing songs.

It makes me so happy watching someone discover Queen. Freddie is truly a gift to the world of music. Like if you agree!!
I used to turn them off growing up too when they came on the radio. Now I love Queen and Freddie Mercury. His voice is amazing. I used to only listen to country growing up. But meeting so many new and different people in college that liked all different kinds of music I started liking rap, rock, grunge, and metal. Now I listen to them all and probably listen to country the least. I'm glad I listen to all of them because there's so many great artists and singers in different genres of music. and the music I play on the guitar and sing is grunge now. lol. A huge change from my roots.
Benji The Bobcat I felt the same way about AC/DC and Queen. But for awhile they ended up being all I listened to
@@PhotonBread isn't it crazy how we change? I never thought I would like Queen or rap but two of my favorites now behind Pearl jam. I don't think that one will ever change though. But hey. Who knows. Lol
That he was, will never be another showman like him either. God definitely gave us this man, he touched so many lives across so many genres....you couldn't really categorize them because they were so talented they played everything to reach everybody!! I believe that's why they had such a fan base that they did, they left no one out when creating, and then showed them so much love at all their concerts, their fans were everything to them and it showed. The only other entertainer I think could even come in the same ball park as Freddie as far as showman ship, was MJ, but he still lacked the fan connection, his passion was there in his dancing, but he didn't interact with them the way Freddie did and I think that's what keeps Freddie above the bar on him just a bit.
The best

This song is pure genius in every way. You know this because every single magazine on earth and critic hated it originally. It took decades for it to catch-up to our ears and minds. That shows the absolute brilliance of Freddy Mercury
SHAQ PLAY DRAGON ATTACK BY QUEEN ITS IT GOES HARD
I grew up on hip hop and I'd never listen and tune out too, but now I got such a deep respect for Freddie Mercury and Queen. Amazing artist.
Beto Buche Freddie Mercury is in my opinion one of the top two vocalists of all time. Glad you were able to discover his greatness my man.
Kristopher Dindore who is your other top vocalist? I personally have Whitney Houston as my #1 all time. Freddie Mercury is #2 for me, and Luther Vandross is my #3
@@pickleoh5454 Sebastian Bach from the band skid row... listen to " I remember you" it'll blow you away
This song is bout him "mama he just kill the man pull the trigger now he's dead "mean he's no longer a man .."life is just began" he turn himself into gay.
Killer Bee sorry it wasn’t about being gay but more about several struggles ... or as roger taylor said it’s about a murderer with a lot of nonsense in the middle.freddie says it’s about what you want it to be .he started writing it in the 60s , but evidently knew exactly what he wanted . Some tracks layered over 180 rimes! .. oh and by the way being gay doesn’t mean you’re not a man !
You were so much fun to watch!
Thank you!
You have the BEST reactions! You are SOOOO fun to watch! LOVE IT!!!
