I've done literally hundreds of clutches throughout my career. Never done a BRZ. It looks relatively easy. The car I've done the most of,,, 5.0L fox body Mustang. Late 80s into the early 90s I did an absolute pile of those cars. And every single one was owned by some pimply faced kid. First car, never driven a standard. And they drove the shit out of them. I could have those cars done in just over an hour. They paid 5 hours I believe.
Cars I despise the most. Anything German. They are my nemesis. Not just for clutches, for everything.

Any advice on pulling the transmission off from the engine? I made sure all the nuts/bolts are off and I can’t seem to pry it off. Even with a pry bar. Just bounces my engine around.

I have a 2013 BRZ And after letting someone else drive the car i am now hearing a weird whining noise when i push my clutch pedal in. Think its a throw out bearing. And since i have to pull everything to get to it. Seems like i might as well change the clutch. Anyone else have any other thoughts???

If the car is stock stick with OEM. If you want an after market, go with Excedy.
