They were the best of all the Southern bands to proceed the Allman's . I saw them many times in the early to mid 70s & they could walk from the dressing room too the stage & turn it on like a light switch & blow the roof off the house in an instant. They blew headliners into the cracks of the floor. Great memories from those days...

Having Tommy tell road Mgr. Joe McConnell “hey Joe put this guy on the permanent guest list was one of the hi-lights of my life…. There’s a story but it’s long and being able to just go to the back door and give my name and walk instantly in and on stage….was kick ass…. Got to meet everyone in every band and it was amazing!!! Best show was New Year’s Eve 1976….Cincinnati Riverfront Coliseum….The Outlaws…..Charlie Daniels Band and THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND!!!
