20kg/45lb dumbbells on the incline press is VERY impressive for a 10 year old! I didn't hit that for a couple months as an adult. This kid is going to be insanely strong if he keeps enjoying it and sticking to it. But, of course, whether or not he enjoys it is the most important part.

Training and all that other stuff aside, you are a good dad Eddie. The last moments where you affirm him for who and what he is, on that day and in that moment, says it all. The look on his face completes it. Keep on being you buddy. And keep on being a dad who accepts his kid. Because you never know when or if that may end. We as parents assume that our kids will outlive us all. But I lost both of mine at the cusp of adulthood and can tell you that every single second counts. You are making the most out of those seconds. His face says it all. Good work man. Let those tears shine.

I was listening his agressive ideas which shared with his drunk friend that he's gonna kill my mother and how. I remember some fights between my mother and him. He was always coming back home totally drunk, then was agressive to my mom. My mom was histeric and made it even whorse. Sometimes I wasn't sure if they kill themselves one time. Can I say something delicately with respect, about your lovely son's a way of junior strongman, I feel it can be mistake, you just taking away his childhood. He is looking at all that your fans around you that admire of you, and your son thinks "to be like a Dad means everybody will love me and admire of me, to be Eddie Hall that is a success in life !" And while he is stepping after your way, he is not living his own natural life, he just want to be loved by everybody as Dad. Do you understand, probably your son wants to live Your life, not his own natural life, he lives in shadow of light of his father !? And probably he has a fear, if he will not be strong, not mighty powerful, he will lose love and acceptance even inside his family. This is very thin delicate point needs very open clear discussion with love, "my dear lovely son, do you really wants to go a way of strongman, you know really inside it is very different not so shiny as seems outside. May be you want other life, to dance, or to paint, or to sing, or do totally nothing, I will sincerely love you in any way, you are not a hostage of my lifestyle dear son".
