Eddie says jab
Everyone throws a jab
Eddie Throws a modified superman punch
😂
ONE PUNCH MAN
Thats where you see the real difference between these pro guys, they are scoring 850 with jab, same as 99% of the guys with full body haymaker
Just to let you know Eddie threw the jab then his body into the machine
The machine moved back causing the generator to fluctuate through the gravity and the sensor been compromised in lay man’s terms.
I hold pads you punch them but if punched as I was jumping I’d feel a stronger hit
Bro, I never thought in a million years I’d ever watch a video with Eddie, Tom and Rico together. For a fight sports nerd and strongman fan this is like the avengers coming together.
It would've been crazy to get Tyson fury in the vid, I guess he's been on fight camp so he's too busy.
Gives me the chills!!! insane lmao
Same for me, I couldn’t stop smiling like a fan boy the whole way through 😂
I saw the thumbnail and just went "is that fucking Rico??" Made my morning.

@@RS2006sSummon When are you considered a legend?
Rico & Tom..... absolute legends. With zero egos 🙏🙏
Oh Tom has an Ego and so does Rico... And thats part of the game they should be as one is a champion and the other a top contender
Tom's fast technical punch, which is apparently extremely repeatable too, is pretty much as powerful as Eddie running into a Hail Mary. That is pretty scary.
This machine doesn't measure power. When we talk about punching power, we're essentially talking about kinetic energy, which is just mass and velocity. The machine has a laser inside, and the bag's arm interrupts the laser, and that's how the score is calculated. Meaning, the machine only measure the speed of the bag, nothing else.
That's why kicks got a lower score, even though they should be 2x as powerful as a punch, because they simply move the bag slower.
An easy way to cheat is to punch the bag up at an 45 degree angle, instead of forward, to give it more upwards velocity from the start.
@@mikehawk6918thanks for the info. I was wondering how those machines worked. Now I know.
@@mikehawk6918 They should do a video on that Nganou world record punch machine

Rico doesn't get the props he deserves.. phenomenal champion
True, he is an insane champion and one of the greatest kickboxer ever. Period.
He's not a knock out machine but his stamina is unparalleled and his lowkicks are just a technical masterpiece, especially on the opponents inside leg.
If you're talking technique, he's probably the best to ever do it.
Very boring fighter to watch tho..

Yeah Rico is a great man.
The title doesn't lie. World Heavyweight Kickbox Champ, Strongman Champ and UFC Champ in one video... Respect. You only gotta get a boxer there like Deontay Wilder and that's it :)

Loving the humbleness of all these champions. Just having some friendly competition with one another.
Respect to Eddie for making the distinction between raw strength and the other skills you need in fight. Absolutely MAD power you have Eddie. Really fun video to watch. As a person with martial arts background, I found the results very interesting and validating. If you do the math and compare the power to weight ratio of Eddie to Rico (highest personal score on the machine divided by the weight of the person) you can see the effects of training quite clearly:
Eddie -> 901/170 = 5.3
Rico -> 875/116 = 7.5
That means if you master your speed and technique to the level that Rico has, whatever your untrained strength is, you could see up to a 41% improvement in your power with training.
Good to know.
Implying the machine's math is lineair and has no calibration issues or error ratio.
Eddie hall back with the famous crab punch lol
😂😂😂
its embarrassing how stupid he is
We all love the crab eddies signature move
long live the crab style..... down with the hands, lead with chin, only need the one punch = overhand right. Really surprised it didn't take off
😂😂😂
Eddie is throwing his whole body into it where as the rest are throwing punches like they would in a fight so they are in position and not off balance. Eddie nearly headbutts the machine.
lol yeah I thought that
It's almost a literal death-charge power punch! LOL
Eddie doesn’t need more. For a guy without fight training he’d absolutely kill people with that punch
Na Rico is throwing unrealistic punches too, punching has a weight advantage anyway. I'm sure that if Tom and Rico weighed the same as Eddie then they would punch much much harder. The interesting thing about this video is in this instance, is can technique beat weight in punch power?
@@Lvnaticify Who would get hit by that though 🤣most people could probably land a 3 piece on him before that thing even gets close
Goodness gracious, seeing top level strikers actually rip is terrifying.
@GODisEVIL998are you able to walk around without falling over?

@@OwlsCoffeeenot enough people are talking about how Tom aspinall, Rico verhoeven and Tyson fury are all friends. It's really weird.
These machines have always been the same. A light sensor that measures how fast it passes through. The faster you send it on an upward arc, the higher it will score. That's why most people punch high and down through the bottom edge of the ball. It doesn't measure power, it measures angular momentum.
I think Marc Rober did this in his winning arcade games with engineering video. Just use a card with a slot cut out of it to trip the light sensor. So when they were saying it was about speed at the beginning was totally correct.
Newer ones like this combine it with a pressure sensor. So you can't use the pez card hack any more.
Thats what i meant 👆😁
They’re basically the same thing in this context though. Given that each person makes contact with the target for roughly the same amount of time, the angular velocity you get on the bag is going to be directly proportional to the power you deliver.
The king of kickboxing ,so good to see him again , so many great fights I'm gonna watch em again

Ridiculous how quick Jake punches. It's literally gone before it's started!!
What’s his full name? I want to check out his fights. Dude’s explosive 🧨
His full name is Jake Oakes he’s honestly an unreal fighter 🤯
thanks was trying to find his name 😊
Realy fast indeed even tho the others punched a bit harder I liked he's snappy quickness and that in a good combo is great shit haha want to see more of that guy
Whats jakes record?
Rico scoring hi in the jab makes sense. Hes a precision striker chipping away for the KO (when he gets them) rather than loading up and trying to time a big overhand.
Jabs and inside leg kick is what he is known for to have that control.
He is not know for the hardest puncher or kicker ever.
There are kickbox guys relying on 1 ko punch or kick, but on the contrary they lack stamina. So if that change is not there in the match they probably loose.
But Rico is overall good: technically, stamina, defense, he can surive getting punced and kicked, he is smart when to do what as well and sometimes he can pull off the ko.
Thats why he is the best at this time.
@@masomaf And dont forget he made his own technigue, with the inside legkick/jab combination, from all kinds of angles, not many guys seem to be able to defend against that combination
Jake's kicks are fucking insane. Obviously every one of those shots would send any mortal into orbit but damnit man dude is fast.

All MIGHT
The device is all about how fast you can make the ball get momentum. The impact of it doesn't matter. But fun to watch! Keep it up!
Eddie wasn't the fastest but he still scored highest
There is no difference in this context between speed and “impact.” The amount of force you hit the bag with is the only thing that determined the speed that it will move with. There is not real distinction here between speed and “impact.”
@@therainman7777 You'd be surprised how differently you punch if you either wanna hit hard, or fast. "Impact" may not have been the best choice of words, you're right! Force of impact= mass*velocity pretty much yes!
@ Not trying to be rude or anything, but I wouldn’t be surprised because it just isn’t true. Momentum is equal to mass times velocity. Since the mass of your arm, fist, torso, etc are all fixed, the only thing you can do to increase the momentum of the punch is to punch faster. Now you may be talking about how quickly you draw your hand back, in which case, yes it’s kind of true that if you “pull” the punch a bit to decrease the amount of time it takes to pull it back to your chin/body, it will transfer less energy. But really, speed is the only thing that determines the momentum and kinetic energy of a lunch. There are no other variables.
@ Also please keep in mind that when I say the speed of a punch, I mean the speed your first is moving at at the moment it makes contact with your opponent. Not the windup time or anything else like that. Just the speed your first is actually traveling at.
toms speed whilst hitting the same power as eddie is absolutely insane. no lie the man kept his speed😭
The little guy was the most impressive, very explosive!

Holy fuck i didn't know Tom has such a lethal punch. It was super crisp. No nonsense, super fast, super technical. His punch is easily the most dangerous one! Thr best kicks go to the kickboxers though.
These punch machines work by using a light sensor.
When you hit the bag it flies up into the machine going past a sensor that reads how fast the bag moves past it
Very impressive by everyone but Rico’s right don’t know who Jake is but I do now damn. He’s like half the size but his speed and power.
Jake is a stick of TNT lmao

Yeah, but he's running up to the machine and throwing a punch with a crazy wind up that would never land in a fight. The pro fighter are throwing punch properly without running and winding up with huge telegraph. Would like to see what Eddie can do with out walking up to it and throwing more like a cross
00:59 A point of view from a mechanical engineer, of who I think punches the hardest, without watching the full video yet:
The equation of kinetic energy is: Ec = 1/2 x m x V^2.
For examples sake lets assume the following:
Eddie punches with a mass of 50kg at a velocity of 3,5m/s. Ec = 306,25Joules
Tom punches with a mass of 40kg at a velocity of 4m/s. Ec = 320Joules
Rico punches with a mass of 35kg at a velocity of 4,5m/s. Ec = 354,375Joules
And the Jake with a mass of 30kg at a velocity of 5m/s. Ec = 375Joules
Because the velocity is squared, Jake is the safest bet, since his punches, despite lacking mass behind them, have low-key, explosive energy.
Now, lets see how fast each one of the other 3 guys would have to throw their punch is order to match Jake's energy.
Eddie would have to throw his 50kg punch at a velocity of 3,87m/s.
Tom would have to throw his 40 kg punch at a velocity of 4,33m/s.
And Rico would have to throw his 35kg punch at a velocity of 4,63m/s.
This was a fun exercise, it shows the balance between velocity and mass to attain a certain amount of energy, especially in ballistics.
But i'm yet to see a lightweight boxer win a medium weight adversary.
Sincerely your,
A mechanical engineer.
But fighting speed is more important than power.
Think it was Mark Rober that did a video on this machine. It's got a little light sensor and the "power" is how fast you trip that sensor essentially
@2ndPeterVBlack The smaller guy lost because he was hitting too high. He was punching the bag down, instead of up. The easiest way to get a high score is to hit the bag low and at an 45 degree angle upwards.
@2ndPeterVBlack The video, he made some kind of little actuator or something (watched it a while ago) that broke the beam really fast
Lets go Rico💪💪
