  • This plane has been waiting for over a year for its first test flight after a complete refinish. A PAW .049 was installed during the rebuild. The engine was broken in prior to installation. Fuel is Eric Clutton's' recommended mix using John Deere starting fluid for the ether component. Prop is a 6x4 Cox competition.
The airplane is a small Ringmaster with 150 sq. in. wing, designed by Pat King.

Great job Fred! Those 150 Ringmasters fly beautifully!

I never had an .049 fly like that! I just started getting back into control line after a 50 year vacation. I need to build the small Ringmaster to go with my full sized plane!! Great job!

My 150 Ringmaster is a special kit by Pat King. It's the size of a Baby Flight Streak. A regular Baby Ringmaster is smaller and ill fly well with a Cox, Cub or Testors (WenMac) engine. Just be ready for the speed! Good luck and have fun.

Nice flying … that PAW sounds sweet too. Really powers that plane like a 15!🕺

Fred, I think you should enter that plane in 1/2A Speed.
Very competent job on the handle. I wish I could fly like that.
    Really nice video. Thanks.

I have a 1/2a ringmaster with a norvel .061, no flight yet but after seeing your vid I'm thinking putting a small PAW on a second build...😁
Side note, what size tank did you use?
