Thank you so much for this step by step instructional! I have a design for an embroidered leather sheath for one of my DnD characters than I'd love to actually make, but have been struggling to wrap my head around construction. I'm so excited!
I use the "join the dots" from pricking method for sewing patterns and cake-decorating : ) Also that chamfer tool makes such a satisfying noise : ) The sheath looks great : ) Maybe you should start your next "one day make" at 1am or something, and just take a nap when the project demands to be left to dry :p
Thankyou! It really hurt me to cut out all the sounds from the edge-beveller, but then it would just be 20 minute video of that. Also hidden with the magic of edits, I did actually have a nap while the glue dried 🤣
you nailed it...
Thanks! I'm very happy with how it came out
Ooh, the burnishing on that edge turned out so nicely!
Thanks! I'm very well-pleased with it, edges were something I struggled with for a while
I want a cool knife and a cool sheath! They look dope!

No problem, glad you found it useful! I've seen sheath methods that are needlessly complicated, whereas this one seemed straightforward to me
Okay so now I need a 20 minute video of just that camfer noise 😂 SO SATISFYING!
That is one beautiful scabbard!
Thanks for the kind words! I'll add that to the pile of video ideas hahaha
@@Cxizent I'd watch the heck out of a "nice leather working noises" video 😁
Great video. Definitely going to keep that awl trick in mind.
Thanks! Glad to hear that you got something useful out of it, too :)

@@Cxizent I mean, twenty minutes of sounds doesn't sound that bad.... but probably not in them middle of a video.
