Smartest off-grid Russian I have ever listened too in my life. Brilliant Sir. You are a walking library. Cheers from Canada my friend, keep up the good work. Love your videos but this one made me subscribe. You are an intelligent human being, we need more humans like you. Thank you for the videos and don't ever quit or I will get stupid again. Lol.
In these most difficult of times, I wish you well and trust you are continuing to express your positivity in creative ways. Peace.
What a gorgeous knife...
It's a unique design that really does mimic a bone knife like you say.
Awesome work!
When the world ends, this guy will thrive,
Andrew Felcey no kidding, man. People like him will just eat people like me 😖
Hopefully he will thrive without the world ending. 😉
@@MangySquirrel I honestly think it might be the other way around, people who don't know this type of stuff will have to resort to attacking other people and taking what they have.
@@MangySquirrel mmmm long pig
Wint3rsmith Hey! 😅 Imma watch out for @Wint3smith

Dude, that intro clip is such a power move, I can't even😂. The look into the camera, the confident stature, the seamless twirl and throwing of the knife. So great.

Being of Finnish descent, I'm addicted to puukos, but it's nice to see related styles. This is on my list of knives to make! Thanks! 👍

I love that simplistic design of the handle, and the blade also
I just can't get over your talent! With your knowledge I would think you are 500 years old!
Another Master piece by just another Lawman.
Amazing , thanks Max.
Beautiful work Max! I would have never thought of using vacuum to impregnate polymer into wood! The Yakut knife came out great 👍🏼
Loved the history behind the knife. Wouldn’t mind more of that in the future!

Wow, Good news, thank you, We Love Your Craft
As usual Max delivers!
Impressive metallurgy. This is truly a work of art. In fact, I would call it a masterpiece.
The traditional handle method of fitting the tang helps me out a lot and gives me a great way to try it I just got a Yakut knife blank as a gift and I want to make a really nice handle for it
Yes, your grounded philosophy and creative work are second to none Advoko, simple and practical, and unique. Keep it up, you are needed in the world. Keeping old methods alive is a gift you have.....
Robin, thank you for your compliment!
👍 Danke fürs Hochladen!

👍 Sehr gut und schön, danke!
I watch with awe and admiration as the knife took shape. Excellent video, thank you
I am so inspired by the things you show us. Thank you.
Beautiful knife!
You are a fantastic teacher. Good, easy to follow directions!
Advoko makes... and THIS GUY wants!
Beautiful knife
I politely make this suggestion: DO NOT STAND ON YOUR BLADE...if it failed, you could very easily have received a crippling injury. There are other ways to perform the same test, safer ways. I laud your knife making and your skills. You do excellent work and provide interesting content. There is no need for you to get hurt doing it.

@@Advoko Thank you.
Normally, a file is too high in carbon for this to work out well, but this is how tempering keeps the hardness of the file on the edge - yet imparts flexibility into the spine... Perfection. This is what you want. This is high carbon brittle steel being worked at it's finest. A pleasure to watch a master blade smith at work.

This is a very beautiful piece, love the craftsmanship and simplicity of the blade.
I won't be able to copy that any time soon, i'm in no position to set up even a little forge now.
But i'm always to more of this quality content
I've made a Yakut knife. It was very enjoyable and can be done with even lump charcoal, a hair dryer a hammer and a sledge hammer head as an anvil.
You can always just grind one out of a file, they are already heat treated...
@@BikingVikingHH but very brittle.
Interesting history, lots of older designs follow forms from stone too.
Omg, I'm in awe of your skills, great work. Thanks
A beautiful knife in form and function. Very inspiring. Thank you for posting the video.
Excellent work.
You make me want to fire up my forge my friend. Beautiful blade. I feel like I’m playing catch up watching all of your videos right now haha
That’s the idea;))
beautifully crafted knife
I've seen a documentary about the tribes that live with reindeers and their explanation for the shape of the blade was simply that metal is a scarce resource and this indentation allows for a knife of adequate size with less raw materials
Nice knife I usually look for files to turn them in to strikers for flint and steel purpose I wish I had blacksmith tools now.
You are an amazing craftsman. Thank you for sharing your skills with us.
Amazing work as always!!! Molodyets!
Fantastic results
YOU ARE A BEAST MAXI KEEP IT UP MY BRO
