I cannot believe it, I can't. Hit by hit, stroke by stroke. It's him, Mr. Bonzo... You seem to play games with us, dear George... I'm in 1972 directly and irrevocably. Many thanks, you shaman drummer!
The stuff that went down on the live versions of this song after Page got done with the bow always blows my mind. 3 masters at their craft making magic.
Absolutely superb analysis of the playing and outstanding playing. I cannot imagine how many hours it took to work all this out and then memorise it never mind the sheer skill to reproduce Bonham’s magnificent drumming. Thanks so much. Oh and to the 4 people who downvoted the video I’ll charitably assume you clicked by mistake. If not, then WTAF? Grow up.
Woooo Hoooo!!!!! What swing and feel!!! Best percussion I’ve Ever heard in my lifetime except for the man himself, John Henry. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👊🏼👊🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🚀🚀🚀🚀😎
This is as true as I have ever seen Bonhams playing. You do an amazing job of playing to his style and feel. Thank you for your tireless effort in putting these videos together. You have inspired me a better drummer. I truly appreciate you. Your amazing drummer !🙏🏼🕊❤
I love when they break into Walter's Walk and The Crunge. The 72 tour was the Holy Grail. I really like the Long Island show from 6/15 and the San Bernardino show on the 22nd. I wish more soundboards were available from this tour.
George, I love the gong solo over kick and hat pattern! You really know this music cold ... the cymbal grabs were insane too! Great playing as always! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻
Wow! What a great mid day surprise! Perfect timing. Came in for a work break and got to sneak in a awesome video. As always George you are spot on. Bravo!!!
That's worthy of a *Shia LeBeouf Clapping* GIF! I've spent a lot of time with this one and love it with all my heart, and you absolutely slaughtered it, brother. Face is melted! Also, did you use the How The West Was Remastered version? That's the only place I've heard Plant's 'Higher!', or, whatever it is he says, going into the jam...
This video should have 50M views!! What’s wrong with people?? I just don’t understand.... Out freakin’ standing! This tune represents LZ more than any other. imho
Amazing video, great playing! Your tuning is impeccable! Quick question, what bass drum cymbal mount are you using? Thinking of maybe getting one for my kit. Thanks 🙏🏻
@@BONHAMOLOGY I’ve always thought the Since I’ve Been Loving You and Immigrant Song on that night were particularly powerful. It’d be great to visualize what Bonham was doing 😂
Hey just passing by to say I used your drums for one... average sounding Black Dog cover. Well it's really the drums that save it LOL, they're pretty sick. Lots of covers have shite drums so they're ruind right out the gate. - and it's very hard to program anything like these beats, I've no idea how, they'll sound bad anyway...- Really nice, just wish there was more backing tracks with low volume on the guitar/voice for cover recordings, like Achilles Last Stand , but I don't know if that's a personal choice of yours Either way good night!!!
Thanks. There are some videos that are drums only, check for my Playlist. Also, the videos I do for People's Front Of Zeppelin's UA-cam channel are available as play alongs for each instrument on our Patreon page. It's $5 a month for access. www.patreon.com/pfoz
George it is unreal at how good you are at playing Bonham. It amazes me how you can remember all the live stuff.
I can’t even remember how many drums Bonham had let alone what he played!
I second that
I cannot believe it, I can't.

Thanks, Sir Keatington!
I dont even knwo what to say anymore, but Ive discovered that I can sit on the edge of my seat for 19 minutes and 38 seconds.
George, you capture Bonham's energy so well in each video. You're a monster man, I don't think anyone can come as close to his playing as you do.
Really appreciate that, thank you!
Agree
Cor blimey, you are the governor. Usual brilliance, thank you George.
Cheers, thanks Trev!
I appreciate all of your homework, your memory, and your timing! Over the Top,Top,Top,Top!!!!!

Greatest band of all time.

I want live next door and keep my windows open every day. Not sure if I’m going to get a gong or violin bow on eBay. Decided - get both!
😁👍🏻

Very awesome! Not to not pick, but he definitely hits a double open hi hat at 10:04. Just one time though
Yes, it sounds like it was unintentional
Now you’re Smashin and Crashin like Bonzo!
Man I’ve never seen anyone cover Bonzo like you 🔥🔥🔥
and I like it !
I simply cannot improve on Nick Gironda’s comment. Thanks George! 👌
brilliant
Holy crap.
As usual great playing and your bass sounds great now since you took off the black one.
wow, the drums sound better than ever! did you do anything different ? as usual amazing work!!!
Thanks! I got a new bass drum mic and I've been experimenting with the EQ a bit.
Amazing video, great playing! Your tuning is impeccable! Quick question, what bass drum cymbal mount are you using? Thinking of maybe getting one for my kit. Thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks. It's a standard classic Ludwig mount, installed at the factory.
What do you use for sound proofing your house?
Thanks. No sound proofing! Maybe sometime in the future.
I really wish this was the TSRTS version
I did do that version, it's posted on my channel in two parts.

So what are the chances we could get some Belfast 71’ covers? 😬
Great show but a bit rough audio. I could try one, what do you have in mind?

What gong did you get brother it’s nice , I was looking at used ones but not sure if I should ? What you think
I bought mine used, much better price than new for this model. It's a Paiste 32 inch Mars gong
George, please let me know, how many turns pro Screw, on the Snare ?? Greetings from Germany. Peter
George, is the Tom mount on the bd an original or the repop? If original which version? Thanks, Rob
What year and where was it plaid? Never heard this version before?
You play better than jason
upstairs neighbor activity
That poor ride cymbal just pounded for the most of second half, great stuff though.
Just disgusting in the absolute best way possible
