Very, very well done. The transitional fill after Take me home is one the hardest drum fills to play correctly. Even Bonham to my knowledge only used that fill in the master recording and never played it the same way again. You nailed it as well as the whole song. It took me three years to learn to play In My Time Of Dyin and I've been playing over 50 years. From one drummer to another, thank you.
Not only did you nail this tough song, but I really respect the amount of work you put into micing your kit and getting just the right volume balance between your live playing and the recorded track. So often covers don't get it right but you nailed the audio quality as well as the playing. And your kit sounds great too. One of the best covers I've watched on a LONG time.
Never judge a book by it's cover. If I were to pass by this young man walking down the street. I would have never thought he could drum like this, let alone Nail the Infamous My Time Of Dying, by the Mighty Zep, on the drums. John Bonham drumming style is unique, and you Nailed It. Well Done!!!
Sin palabras! Nunca he visto un cover de alguna canción de Led Zeppelin tocada con tanta precisión y semejanza a la original. Este muchacho se esmeró mucho 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Such a fun song to play from Zeppelin...It's a great stamina builder too...Especially when the tempo picks up at 3:50...That's what separates the wheat from the chaff. You did a great job with, what I consider Bonzos hardest song...
Tears to the eye, this one. It warms my heart to see the next generation keeping real rock and roll alive, and it also speaks of the power of Led Zeppelin that people are still moved by their music, half a century later.. I couldn't find a single flaw in this cover. Such a solid performance (if I could, I'd send you a box full of Paistes!). I'll tell you what.... in 50 years, we won't be hearing any "Imagine Dragons" covers.
My man, as a long haired long time drummer, started at 6 with peter chris of kiss. You have done the absolutely best at "my time of dying " on the drums. Keep up the great work, you'll go far.
ABSOLUTELY SMASHED IT!!! THROUGH & THROUGH!! Very well done, young squire(Lol!!) You are an apt student to one of our most influential & legendary artists of all time! Your intuitive sense of feel & I also concur with a prior commentator in regard to the "swing" in this particular groove that John Bonham's so famous for - ha HAAAAA!! Nailed it!! Bravo!! - hmmmmmm . . . Is that a serving of "Tea for One" being brought over . . . ÷]
Respect to you Franco, you done it just right - I'm an old geezer now and I drum a bit but I can't do this this one - it is very difficult - fantastic job young fella !! Also what is so uncanny is that you look so much like my son when he was younger !!
Starting at the 10 minute mark of this video it was obvious he was very tired and that's when the mistakes started. But, before that he was almost flawless on everything. Good job. It's great to see today's generation appreciating the Hammer Of The Gods, Led Zeppelin's John Bonham.
So great seeing this younger generation of drummers learning from the great classic rock drummers !
I play a cover of The Ocean on my channel, Led Zepplin is extraordinary !
best way to learn!!
You are on fire dude

3:44 the way he looks at the camera and nods like saying "you know what's coming up"
Absolutely 💯
Awesome! If Bonzo were alive, he would shake your hand!!!
Nothing better than hear a good drummer getting down and obviously enjoying the music.
Damn, I'm blown away... Amazing raw passion and perfect timing, combined with sticks being splintered and cymbals being nearly dented... Bravo
Bravissimo!!
