Interested in the CGRP studies. They have been moderately helpful for me. However, since beginning, I have had an increase in skin issues (I have a skin disorder). I think the CGRP meds may be having an impact, but the data is slim to non existing...❤
Can you talk more about the side effects of the CGRP meds, they’re pretty unsettling and latest research points to issues around impeding the inflammation process. When a drug’s common side effect is upper respiratory infections that’s very concerning especially in the Covid era. Also, would love more in-depth info on Botox and why it causes neck pain. Really appreciate this channel, thank you for all everyone does at the NHF!!
Ramp1 is part of the cgrp receptor that modulates the receptor’s extracellular expression, especially on trigeminovascular nerves. It’s postulated that increased ramp1 (as determined by genetics) may predispose an individual to increased sensitivity of the trigeminovascular nerves, making them more susceptible to migraine during their lifetime.

I don't know my Ramp 1 status. I googled it and see it's relation to CGRP. Is there a previous video that discusses?
