Atogepant and Migraine

Episode 103: Atogepant (QULIPTA) was just approved by the FDA as a daily oral preventive treatment for migraine. Can we take gepants like Nurtec or Ubrelvy for our acute migraine attacks if we are taking atogepant? How effective is atogepant and what are the side effects? Can you take take Qulipta and Aimovig. Do they interact with each other or compliment each other

Dr. Timothy Smith replied: "There are no medical warnings or contraindications about using Qulipta and Aimovig together. No formal studies have been done on the combination to assess for added effectiveness or side effects."
