This was such a nice conversation he had with this wild animal and the bull understood him right away without speaking a single word in English. A very informative and interesting video about these wonderful creatures, thank you very much.
So I've been watching a lot of Elephants.
I think I've figured out that raising a front foot off the ground and holding it for a moment tells everyone "hold on a sec. I'm thinking of what to do next.
Lifting one rear leg means follow me.
I can't get enough of the elephant in the hotel lobby.
Wild Elephants come to visit Humans in their enclosure.
I'd vacation there if I could.
Thanks for this! I'm making a game and there's gonna be elephants in it so I'm "studying" elephant behavior and this is gonna help a lot!
Actually when an elephant lifts its leg its usually because they heard some sort of communication with another heard, too low pitch for us to hear.
2:13 Can't stress that enough.
It’s the elephant's fault for not speaking English or Mandarin.
Just found your video, loving it!!! Last 25 seconds were the best in the whole video tbh. "HEY!" *Bangs Car Door*...immediately back to calm smooth talking :)
I’ve been taught that an eating elephant is generally a happy elephant. They’re mostly focused on feeding.
The one time I’ve been charged by an African elephant, it was a large bull in musth. He rounded a turn from behind some trees and scruff at a full run, and he had his trunk draped over his right tusk. When I say “full run”, I mean he leaned his body into the turn the way you would take a corner on a motorcycle. It was obvious that he meant business and was not bluffing. We quickly reversed to get away from him, while spotting other males quickly moving through the bush on either side of us. It was a dangerous situation. I honestly believe he would have flipped our vehicle over, because he was that angry and aggressive.
I love elephants, respect their space
Thank you it's important to respect there space ....it's good to Lear from other that have the experience with wildlife in Afrika great video 🐘💖
You can tell how much he loves them...I hope they can tell, too.
Great video! Thanks for showing us a glimpse of this incredible animal.
Thank you Brant Leo Smith
Am learning all the time. Thanks.
Wonderful world of magnificent Elephants that I truly love ❤️ thanks for the information
Thanks - very helpful. @3:12 you said "sometimes you need to get out of there" .. when do you know that time has arrived?
This was a fascinating video. Would definitely look for more like these in the future!
this guy is an amateur who has no clue what he's talking about, clearly has no scientific background
Fascinating and helpful video.
So cool!
Nice video Brent!
Very informative video. Thank you #WE #SafariLive #BrentLeoSmith
More please!
Man said ehhhhh
Elephant said aight imma head out
SO brave.
How to know when to get away? What is the behaviour of the elephant that you know you now must run?
me encanta el final xd
Was this filmed in the Timbavati by any chance ? 👀
What should you do if you see wild elephants in a distance and you want to avoid any problems. Walk away? Stay put?
Cool green screen....
Would love to know the date when the elephant faced off with Brent where he had to bang the car. Will go back and watch that stream when I know.
Reading and understanding women's behavior and body language is by far more difficult.
how does this only hve 2 likes?
I'll take that as a compliment 😜😂🫣
@@nukiepie It has 29, you absolute imbecile!
When her handbag is in a high position it's a sign that she may attack. Walk backwards slowly but don't run. It will only encourage her to chase you.
😀👌
Where're the people who think they know more than the professionals?
The smart survive, the social survive, the big bull boye survives
गुड एलीफेंट
What if i poop, will it calm down the situation !
Also aren't the ears flapping a particular way a telltale sign of aggression?
I'm sure it is
Nope. It's actually a good sign. It's the tail (stiffened and straight) and the position of the trunk (if placed over the tusks- that's b a d. Get gone asap)
So basically, Elephants act just like people . . .
No, they don’t commit genocide.
Behind the camera a complete team is there to bring back the anchor s deadbody if the giant had attacked
I Recently watched a Seminar on elephant behavior and the woman was sharing something about the penis. A male will drop it when hes scared or something like that. I think she said hell do that when hes around a dominant Bull who is in must too.
Anybody else hear anything on this?
Well, that’s not different for many men when they are facing a (much) stronger competitor, but when my penis is up, it "unfortunately" does not sink very quickly even in such situations. 😉 😎 But it should actually be better not to show ones erect penis "too clearly" to a mighty bull elephant who is in Musth. 😀
But joking aside: I think your seminary teacher was probably right about everything you said above.
Ma si può avere in italiano......??????
Why aren't they're any native people in charge of these animal reserves?
Does anyone know why the elephant was missing its tail ???
Judith Iorio hunters chopped it off
Ignore Ms w. 90% of the time it's because hyenas, lions or wild dogs chewed it off when they were small.
too bad he didn't share what they do when they're excited or happy
I'm just SICK OF ELEPHANTS BEING MISTREATED AND DESTROYED BY annoying humans:/
50 years ago, they were more quiet and more numerous, humans sucks
If the elephant crushes you you did it wrong.
Asian elephants are more dangerous & agressive
No, they're not. Asian elephants are more docile than African elephants. It's just that Asian elephants are so targeted by people that they're defensive and on guard. When Asian elephants feel threatened, they let you know, as they've been targeted fiercely. What you're judging by is how threatened they feel, that's the result of how threatened they've BEEN. If people would stop targeting Asian elephants, if they would respect them and give them space, they would learn the truth. Every zoo-ele-handler in the West knows that Asian eles are easier to work with than African eles.
What I see here is a man in a car invading a wild animal's space, taunting him with his vehicle and his shouts. This behavior on the part of this man is not 'educational', indeed t's reprehensible for the lack of respect toward the animal. In this case that fool invaded the elephant's space and is trying to make the animal submit to his will. I felt sorry for that magnificent elephant.
breadandcircus1 you have zero knowledge on the situation
breadandcircus1 People, other than tour groups, travel throughout Africa. These are good tips to know, in case there are Elephants along the roads.
breadandcircus1 THIS is an expert Safari Live Guide - I SAID...... EXPERT. Saying that , no wild animal is 200% predictable.
Agree 100%.
Shouting? I didn't hear any shouting.
You should be thinking about YOUR behaviour.
