During my recent visit in the Kruger, our safari driver was very clear and he said we are now in the territory of wild animals and as such give the animals reasonable space, respect and all the animals in the park has a right of way. It was when we came across a herd of about 10 elephants who came straight to our vehicle but simply check us up and walked away and then understood what he was saying. We were all dead silent but that was such an incredible sight which was captured on our video camera.

They need to stop safaris. These animals need to be left along and live without being threatened. They're a l ready taking up all the land these animals live on and having to be forced to interact with people. These people are taking a risk being so close to these animals and risking the lives of the animals if they come to close. These elephants need to knock those cameras out of their hands.

It amazes me how quickly they can come to a halt. When you consider their mass and how fast they can be moving an then suddenly stop right in front of the thing they are charging, wow.
I'm not an expert at ALL but it's not too surprising. Most animals (even our soft asses) are in control of their moments, even at full speed. Plus they're incredibly strong and smart so I'm not surprised that their so coordinated. Kinda badass honestly.

Always stand your ground against an elephant. They're actually relatively passive unless there are young ones around and usually won't engage in a fight unless absolutely necessary. If you try to run, they WILL outrun you and trample you. They're basically testing you when charging at you. Elephants are insanely intelligent animals

Elephants - especially African Elephants - evolved alongside Humans for over 2 million years. For all that time, Humans had been developing strategies to hunt animals Elephants for food. But 2 million years is a long time - long enough for other African animals to develop behaviors to help them survive alongside humans. For Elephants, the primary behavior is to try and scare humans away. In reality, they are in fact more scared of you. They do the same with other predators, like lions.

You could fo to Tanzania and use a reputable outfitter. Their guides and drivers are trained at a special college for wildlife preservation. The vegetation is less where a herd will be taken by surprise you are there so they tend to just cross and ignore you and the drivers know when to keep distance.

Elephants personalities, moods and general disposition can vary just like humans. That this wasn't a grumpy or angry or perturbed elephant at that moment was incredibly fortunate for the people at the truck with the camera. They could have all easily been killed quickly.

Elephants personalities, moods and general disposition can vary just like humans. That this wasn't a grumpy or angry or perturbed elephant at that moment was incredibly fortunate for the people at the truck with the camera. They could have all easily been killed quickly.

Sajnos az ember egyre jobban betolakszik a területeikre, így nem csoda,ha támadónak látjuk a viselkedését , pedig az elefánt csak a fajtáját védi a SAJÁT területén. Csodálatos állatok !
Remélem az emberiség tiszteli, védi és az orvvadászoktól is megvédi a még megmaradt elefántokat !
Sőt sokkal jobb lenne,ha a magán szvérájuk jobban tiszteletben tartanák az emberek, mert az ,hogy ennyire közel mennek hozzájuk azzal zavarkák őket , és ez sajnos nem a tiszteletükről az őszinte szeretetükről szól, hanem sajnos csak az őket mutogatók üzletéről szól az elefántok kihasználásáról szól. 😢
