Hey John, such a beautiful video and documentary of your WAY. We must have been right behind you. Wish we would have met. We finished the French 9/29/18 and the Primitivo this 9/13/19. In our blood now. Can Not wait to return to “walk” again. For all of you saying you must do it, please DO it. It will change your life. The most magical, peaceful, contemplative days of my recent life have been spent on the Camino. Merry Christmas! Hope I’m getting tix to Spain! Ultreia! Hilary
Thanks Hilary! I walked the Portugués last spring and I’m very tempted to walk another Camino next year too. You’re so right - once you’ve walked, once is never enough!
Thank you for your beautiful and peaceful presentation. I did my first Camino in May of 2018, and your video brought back so many emotions. You took me right back. Thanks and Buen Camino!
We walked from Sept 22 -Oct 28. 2018 We were blessed with great weather/people/places and experience. At times I say to myself did we actually walk the Camino, then I watch a video like this and the memories come flooding back.
Ah, that's very kind of you, Cary! If you take a look at the rest of my videos, you'll see that I went back and made separate films for each of the 30+ days I spent on the Camino. They may help too!
Lovely images, John. This certainly was a bright point during the pandemic for me. Looking forward to the day we all will find our way back to Santiago.
Very nicely done! I was watching UA-cam as I worked this morning (teacher catching up on marking) and I had to pause the marking to really take in all the majesty on offer here. You have put this together so well with the panning over images, brief legends and the evocative music. Very glad to have come across this. Best wishes from south-east England.
Ah, that's very kind of you! I did go back and make a day-by-day cycle of clips from both of my Caminos, so you can dip into those as well, if you wish. In the absence of being able to walk again, this is as good as it gets!
Beautiful documentation of this pilgrimage. I also plan to take this journey. This presentation will inspire me through my preparation. The music was wonderful accompaniment. Thank you!

@@johnlloyd3279 Maybe you could help me actually? I'm 21 and thinking of doing it this summer. Should i do the full camino Frances with little to no expireance or maybe half of it?? If i do the whole route I'll also have a time restraint of exactly 31 days. Do you think that would be enough to enjoy it? Thanks in advance :)
evan carty Hi Evan! I think it’s definitely feasible to walk the Francés from St Jean to Santiago de Compostela in 31 days. I’d go for it! If you found yourself falling behind on time, you can always hire a bike, for a stage or two, or even get a taxi or train to catch up. Go for it and see how it goes!
The Camino was a life changing event for me. I sold my home in Texas and moved to Spain. I'm dedicated to the Camino for life.
