I am playing the game now as a bard and I didn't know you could play with the whole gang and that it would work and sound good. Amazing. Thank you for this cute video.
I don't understand the 'coding' of it or anything but every instrument is on a sort of loop but gets extra sounds 'activated' as more instruments get involved. It even works when NPC's are playing something, just gotta do the right song.
@@AvauntVanguard Not too difficult, each instrument plays a different part of the song like real music and when someone starts playing the same song near someone else they just sync to where that person is currently in the song and go from there. Usually the flute or lute will play the main melody, with the violin doing harmony, and drum the rhythm of course.
This is great! Still 2 instruments left out though: lyre and whistle. Obviously that's a hefty challenge, with party maxed at 4. I just find it odd the dev's made these great songs and then made it a massive challenge to ever hear them played with all 6 parts. But again, kudos for this! Love it!
U can play in camp with Volo and Alfira after helping the grove. Volo vhissles and then with Alfira you can be 6 playing. Haven't tried it myself but sounds very fun. Heard someone do it then I searched and then came here. I recommend sounds amazing😄
I was actually surprised on how fun Bard is considering they're a bit of a joke in the DnD community. I watch Critical Role and they've only had two bards, one in the main party in Campaign 1 and just a guest for ten episodes or so in Campaign 3. But mine is quite powerful as a subclass rogue in School of Swords. And so many proficiencies...
There's a draonborn bard at the circus entrance at wyrms crossing (act 3) who plays the lyre part (so far i've only seen/heard "the power"). you can join i if you have your own bard(s) with you ^^ that should make it 5... so just have to look for more npc bards i guess.
You can earn instrument prof by helping the bard in the druid groove to complete the song and playing with her (some performance checks). This is only for one person though. The rest have to take the feat that gives instrument proficiency and +1 char
1. Where is Alfira? I fear the worst... 2. Why didn't you play "Bard Dance", "Old Time Battles" and "The Power" while she was still there? That way, you could have had five instruments at once. 3. How did you manage to make the portraits/UI disappear?
1) She's fine, not on a Durge. Can't have her as a party member. I believe I did this during Act 2 so she was just gone. 2) Didn't know that was a thing! 3) F10 hides UI.
0:00 Intro
0:06 "Bard Dance"
2:56 "Of Divinity and Sin"
5:24 "Sing for Me"
7:01 "The Queen's High Seas"
9:23 "Old Time Battles"
11:32 "The Power"
8:41 Let me out, let me out, LET ME OUT
Now all we need is a mod to allow them to walk whilst doing this
Man it's be crazy to have something like that and just casually stroll through Baldur's Gate proper.
I just think of Monty Python and the minstrels with Sir Robin
omg yes! that would be so sick!
God the Divinity songs make me smile. Good times
I love how everyone always gives Karlach the drum lol
She just seems the type!
I think Karlach an Lae'zel should switch according to their personality.
Whatever it takes. [Plays lute and dances
[dance dance]

This is awesome! Really want to do a traveling bard party play through now lol
This.... just made me so happy! Awesome job!

I found party-increasing mods for BG3 to be confusing to install so I just never bothered :

This is great. I’m enjoying playing Bard class so much. I have to try this.

One in the underground guild in the sewers as well. Coincidentally, another scalefriend
Also if you have the Tiefling party in your camp at the end of Act One, if you start playing next to Alifra she'll join in on her lute.
In my current band setup Karlach is the drummer too lol
Felt right for her, tbh. Not that she's a dummy, she just seems the type to go "boom boom go brrrr"
you can do this without a full party if you play with an already existing bard who has an instrument who will join in
how to teach all of my party members playing music instruments?

It is a feat while leveling up you can pick.. or you just re class them to bard (and save beforehand)
I sub-classed everyone one level into bard. Not my main save, I just went back a couple autosaves.
Its great. ;)
Sing forMe is basically Green Eyes by Coldplay. This cover gives me chills
I think Sing For Me is a song from their previous game, Divinity Original Sin 2.
Great show, but you should really put time stamps or the thingies in the video with the separate songs.
I pinned someone who did it :D
This just made my day. Thank you sir/madem/them.

@@AvauntVanguard Thank you for responding. Was completely unaware of F10.
@@annenym2222 Back when I was active on BG3 I think I googled it cos I am big on ingame photography so I needed it to get hot shots of my characters.
