🙂 You may be excited to know that God has his own Holidays which are all found in Leviticus 23. As followers of Christ we can celebrate the Holy days on the Biblical Calendar with things like Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles. All these festivals point to our Messiah and the prophecy of His soon return. This is a catholic holiday. Idk what you mean... carving a plant doesnt amount to witch craft. The handing out of treats was adapted by early american catholics handing out treats that would serve as food for people whose family members waited in puragtory. They would symbolically feed those in purgatory. Carving a turnip was meant to ward off evils spirits. And if you think thats pagan... why does the angel ask the man to fish a specific fish from a river. And tell the man to cook it and fed it to the man who was possessed in the book of tobit? Sure its noncanonical. But that was written in the book of solomon. Its solomons white magic. That is literally in solomons key on how to get rid of a certian demon. The gall bladder of the fish when cooked causes the demon to flee.

This is the one time of the year where UNSAVED people come to your house. Don't shut off the lights and hide, show the LIGHT of Christ! Get some gospel tracts and hand them out with candy. Use your LIBERTY for CHRIST, not for sin. Time is short.

He said, “have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” We should prayerfully consider how to be "in the world, but not of the world", while being "salt and light".
