My 7yo son told me tonight on the way home that Jesus told him to never ever go trick or treating. He said "there were lots of people who poisoned the candy. He also said to never dress up as anything scary." This came from a child that was so excited about halloween until tonight. He went into his room, grabbed his venom costume, threw it down stomped on it then went and threw it away in the trash. Then he said we needed to go through our home and get rid of anything scary or if we have a bad feeling about it to throw it away. So I absolutely followed his lead. We trashed quite a few things. My home spiritually feels so much better. I also prayed Psalms 91 over my kids and home. I have asked Jesus many times to help me raise my boys to know him. Both my boys hear from him on a regular basis. I'm so grateful to God.
That is sad the adults in his life have decided to try and ruining this kids childhood , you should of been there for him, and letting him k ow who ever told him that is a extremist lol
I had a former colleague that was a witch and she professed Halloween was her favorite holiday. I personally saw where she gave beautiful flowers to a Christian colleague for no special occasion. When i advised the christian to get rid of the flowers, which she did, she had become violently ill and had to go to urgent care. Also, this same witch would try to give me chocolate candy out of the blue (which they knew i loved) and the Holy Spirit would tell me to discard it in the trash. I would play worship music in my office and This same person for 5 years would never enter into my office. They would open my door wide and speak to me from the hallway. I saw where she did evil things to others but always kept her distance from me. When in meetings she would sit to the other side. If I sat next to them, they would move. The enemy is powerless against Jesus.
What was in her could see Holy Spirit in you and it made her fearful! Many of us who have "discernment of spirits" gifting have dealt with this! God has blessed you.

I used to be VERY into Halloween. Huge parties, tons of decor, I went all in. One day, about 6 years ago, I woke up and just lost my itch for it. It was like God just shook me one September day and said, “What’s the matter with you? Quit this nonsense.” And I did. Whatever happened to my heart that day, the desire to celebrate Halloween just disappeared and never returned. The weirdest part is that my husband and daughter (who was about 10 at the time) both felt the same way. They were very into the holiday, too, and just followed suit in giving it up without a fight. We haven’t looked back since that day.

Here in South Africa, Halloween isn't huge, but kids are watching Halloween cartoons. Well, that's a no-no in my home. My 4 year grand daughter calls it evil. We teach her all about Jesus because we are all about Him.

Yea and I learned recently that the Scottish origins of Halloween began with young couples wandering into their neighbors gardens with their eyes closed and grab the first veggie that feel and that determines their future endeavors somehow. So from its beginning Halloween had a pagan past. It then became mischief night where in America, kids would steal food to pelt at peoples doors or windows, and proceed to burn loose furniture in the streets. Later on Halloween parties and festivities were created by people to give kids something less destructive to do on Halloween night like trick or treating hence all the mischief from earlier, and fall fest stuff so kids don’t randomly start becoming arsonists.

What a wonderful testimony of deliverance from Satanism. I've never liked Halloween and at some point, when my children were still quite young, we stopped participating in it. I got a lot of flack about that decision. I accepted the Lord as my Savior when I was 10 years old; my parents were new Christians and we did Halloween every year, they didn't know any better. Even our church had a haunted house in the basement every Halloween for all the neighborhood children, but they had to stay for a message afterwards and some got saved. When my daughter was little, she wanted nothing to do with Halloween! I never even said anything to her, she decided on her own she wanted no part of it. At that time Harry Potter became very popular, and she wanted no part of that either. She seriously thought his name was actually Scary Potter!

Some of those movies are meant to bring about awareness as to how easily it is to become possessed. A friend shared the video "Halloween: Trick or Treat" by people who were satanically ritually abused, and met one of them at our church. We immediately threw out all of our Halloween decor and practices. We know strong Christian families who are very into Halloween and all the practices and who let their young kids watch horror movies as a form of "entertainment". It's discouraging when believers are blind to the meaning behind darkness and evil practices.

I am crying tears of joy for this young child. I stopped celebrating Halloween many years ago. This year I am going to use this day as an opportunity to share Jesus. The children will be coming to my door, so I will be giving them a gospel tract for children, a “Jesus Loves You” bracelet, and one piece of candy. I could just turn out the lights and not answer the door, but I think this might be the better option. Maybe no good will come of it, but if it plants a seed in even one child, it’s worth it!

I used to be big into witchcraft and occultic things. My mom was into witchcraft and the occult. We had a spirit board that worked without touch. You talked to it and it responded. My mom had a spirit "friend" that was an incubus. When I was 13, I pledged my allegiance to Satan. I was promised many wonderful things. Of course, there were often conditions for this. I frequently played "games" and did rituals with my friends. Harmless, right? We would conjure spirits and demons. Lots of drinking, drugs, sex. Many Christians are so blind and conformed to the world and do not realize how many Satanic holidays are out there. When I was in my late 30's, I got so tired of my life, I had made plans to end it. But I had 2 small children. Then Satan told me that he could fix all that. Take me back in time, so to speak, and erase all the bad things. Make everything perfect. Tarot cards helped me understand what to do. I had agreed. I didn't understand the consequences. But the contract I had to sign was not vague in the slightest. In order for things to fall into place, I had to not only sign my life over to Satan, but also the lives of my children. And at anytime, he could collect on that vow. What he wanted would be revealed in the future. I didn't sign or give up my kids. But I believe that is when he took over. I wanted out of all the demonic stuff, but I knew the consequences would be dire. You can't leave or you will die. I was told that on the 13th day of the 13th month at 13 minutes after the 13th hour, my life would be claimed. October 13th at 1:13 pm. I actually prayed that day for God to spare my life. Not sure why. Over 30 years later, I gave my life to Jesus....February 5th of this year. I renounced all ties to the occult and to Satan. I got rid of all my ritualistic items. It was the best decision of my life. God is so good.

I had a former colleague that was a witch and she professed Halloween was her favorite holiday. I personally saw where she gave beautiful flowers to a Christian colleague for no special occasion. When i advised the christian to get rid of the flowers, which she did, she had become violently ill and had to go to urgent care. Also, this same witch would try to give me chocolate candy out of the blue (which they knew i loved) and the Holy Spirit would tell me to discard it in the trash. I would play worship music in my office and This same person for 5 years would never enter into my office. They would open my door wide and speak to me from the hallway. I saw where she did evil things to others but always kept her distance from me. When in meetings she would sit to the other side. If I sat next to them, they would move. The enemy is powerless against Jesus.
What was in her could see Holy Spirit in you and it made her fearful! Many of us who have "discernment of spirits" gifting have dealt with this! God has blessed you.

I used to be VERY into Halloween. Huge parties, tons of decor, I went all in. One day, about 6 years ago, I woke up and just lost my itch for it. It was like God just shook me one September day and said, “What’s the matter with you? Quit this nonsense.” And I did. Whatever happened to my heart that day, the desire to celebrate Halloween just disappeared and never returned. The weirdest part is that my husband and daughter (who was about 10 at the time) both felt the same way. They were very into the holiday, too, and just followed suit in giving it up without a fight. We haven’t looked back since that day.

Here in South Africa, Halloween isn't huge, but kids are watching Halloween cartoons. Well, that's a no-no in my home. My 4 year grand daughter calls it evil. We teach her all about Jesus because we are all about Him.

Yea and I learned recently that the Scottish origins of Halloween began with young couples wandering into their neighbors gardens with their eyes closed and grab the first veggie that feel and that determines their future endeavors somehow. So from its beginning Halloween had a pagan past. It then became mischief night where in America, kids would steal food to pelt at peoples doors or windows, and proceed to burn loose furniture in the streets. Later on Halloween parties and festivities were created by people to give kids something less destructive to do on Halloween night like trick or treating hence all the mischief from earlier, and fall fest stuff so kids don’t randomly start becoming arsonists.

What a wonderful testimony of deliverance from Satanism. I've never liked Halloween and at some point, when my children were still quite young, we stopped participating in it. I got a lot of flack about that decision. I accepted the Lord as my Savior when I was 10 years old; my parents were new Christians and we did Halloween every year, they didn't know any better. Even our church had a haunted house in the basement every Halloween for all the neighborhood children, but they had to stay for a message afterwards and some got saved. When Sid Roth asked John "What about certain movies?" I instantly remembered The Exorcist. Sorry I EVER went near that film.
That movie tormented me for years. That was an open portal movie for demons to come to my life.
It’s actually based off of a true story, of a real girl possessed that was given an exorcism by a priest. Some of those movies are meant to bring about awareness as to how easily it is to become possessed. I don’t personally watch them, but some more recent ones based off of transcripts from real exorcisms given by real exorcist pres Have made specifically to bring awareness so that people will stop playing with things like tarot cards, and Ouija boards.

@Just a mustard seed I had a nightmare where I think there were those grays the aliens aka demons and they smelled like pee and poop it was horrible and they were scraping my bones it was weird I used to never have nightmares but I live in Tennessee and I know they have a cern at oak mtn near Knoxville I feel like cern has been opening portals letting fallen Angel abs demons coming thru. A friend shared the video "Halloween: Trick or Treat" by people who were satanically ritually abused, and met one of them at our church. We immediately threw out all of our Halloween decor and practices. We know strong Christian families who are very into Halloween and all the practices and who let their young kids watch horror movies as a form of "entertainment". It's discouraging when believers are blind to the meaning behind darkness and evil practices.
Please pray for my family to become born again believers and know reality of life here and forever Thank you Lord for what you gone do

I am crying tears of joy for this young child. I stopped celebrating Halloween many years ago. I told my children that if i knew then what i know now they would never have participated in Halloween at all❤❤❤. Mom please keep speaking truth to them in these truly evil times. Please pray that my adult children will open their spiritual eyes.

I recently went into a spirit Halloween store to browse the store. I smiled and laughed at some of the displays and costumes they had. As soon as I got to the masks section, I stood there and looked……immediately I felt all of the them looking at me and my body felt the presence of evil. This year I am going to use this day as an opportunity to share Jesus. The children will be coming to my door, so I will be giving them a gospel tract for children, a “Jesus Loves You” bracelet, and one piece of candy. I could just turn out the lights and not answer the door, but I think this might be the better option. Maybe no good will come of it, but if it plants a seed in even one child, it’s worth it!

I used to be big into witchcraft and occultic things. My mom was into witchcraft and the occult. We had a spirit board that worked without touch. You talked to it and it responded. My mom had a spirit "friend" that was an incubus. When I was 13, I pledged my allegiance to Satan. I was promised many wonderful things. Of course, there were often conditions for this. I frequently played "games" and did rituals with my friends. Harmless, right? We would conjure spirits and demons. Lots of drinking, drugs, sex. Many Christians are so blind and conformed to the world and do not realize how many Satanic holidays are out there. When I was in my late 30's, I got so tired of my life, I had made plans to end it. But I had 2 small children. Then Satan told me that he could fix all that. Take me back in time, so to speak, and erase all the bad things. Make everything perfect. Tarot cards helped me understand what to do. I had agreed. I didn't understand the consequences. But the contract I had to sign was not vague in the slightest. In order for things to fall into place, I had to not only sign my life over to Satan, but also the lives of my children. And at anytime, he could collect on that vow. What he wanted would be revealed in the future. I didn't sign or give up my kids. But I believe that is when he took over. I wanted out of all the demonic stuff, but I knew the consequences would be dire. You can't leave or you will die. I was told that on the 13th day of the 13th month at 13 minutes after the 13th hour, my life would be claimed. October 13th at 1:13 pm. I actually prayed that day for God to spare my life. Not sure why. Over 30 years later, I gave my life to Jesus....February 5th of this year. I renounced all ties to the occult and to Satan. I got rid of all my ritualistic items. It was the best decision of my life. God is so good.

Do you know that a lot of animal shelters will not let you adopt a cat during October until Nov. 2?
Oh you can adopt it but ya have to leave it in the safety of the shelter so you can't sacrifice it to Satan .
