Hi Kayla, thank you for the delicious ideas! How do you heat up the dishes with the hot and cold/fresh items? Do you remove the salmon patty and chicken and heat those up on a separate plate? Thank you!
If I'm at home, then yes I'll remove the proteins and heat them up in a skillet on the stovetop. For something like the stuffed bell peppers, I'll add them to the oven for a few minutes. If I'm not at home, I'll take my portable oven bag with me and heat everything in that & just pack the avocado in a separate smaller container... just make sure your food is in a glass container, not plastic when re-heating. Hi Kayla, I prepped these meals, snacks and the dinner. It turned out great, but I have now found I have a tree nut allergy. I had not eaten so many nut products in the past. Do you have nut substitute recommendations.
Can you tolerate seeds? If so, you can swap out the nuts for any type of seed (i.e. pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia or flax seeds, hemp seeds, etc.)
Can you really make all of those and have them last from Sunday night to use Monday through Friday? I would think the foods would get soggy. Maybe make them and assemble later...??
The only thing that gets soggy if I assemble at the beginning of the week is usually the spinach, so I've gotten to the point where I'll add the spinach the morning of. But, of course, feel free to assemble all of it the morning of and just store each recipe/food in separate containers until the morning of :)
