Who's going to use this meal prep menu next week?
Although this post is not a new one, I’ve just found your wonderful 5 day meal prep and given it will be a long road to changing my now fatty liver to healthy, I’m hopeful to start with working on insulin resistance.
I have followed a lot of people for healthy recipes but usually the cooking is not so great. The way you are cooking I can tell you are a great cook. I hope my husband will be happy to eat this. This looks very manageable and tasty.
Kayla I love your recipes do you have something for older woman that are not to active I'm 75 yrs old I walk with walker so I'm not that active I lost 10 lbs since following you me and my daughter do your cook together your recipes thanks for sharing your meal preps we love them

I decided to mash my sweet potatoes, and then I added the beef mixture in it. SO delicious, I like it better without the skins.

I've started to "cheat"on my keto and I feel bad whenever I eat carbs, so your diet is really inspiring for me and it could be a solution. Could you talk more about the keto cycling in some video? I stick to a mostly grain free lifestyle; however, I still allow myself to indulge from time to time when eating out or on weekends. Personally, I think sticking to one eating style 100% of the time (i.e. low carb, paleo, etc.) is unrealistic for most people. I'm not saying that it's impossible though. You just have to find the right balance for you. I eat grain free probably 85-90% of the time. That's what I have found (through years of trial and error) works for me, but everyone is different in regards to their relationship to food and how their body responds to certain foods. I would say to start with cleaning up your diet by focusing on eating clean, whole foods as much as possible. Try to include healthy fats and proteins at every meal. If you feel bad whenever eating carbs, try to include healthy carbs in smaller amounts (i.e. for dinner only), such as sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, butternut squash, etc. If you still feel bad even with smaller amounts of carbs, you may want to get checked for insulin resistance.

Well, thank you! :) I shop at my local Kroger 90% of the time and because I'm on their loyalty program, I get discounts on all of their Simple Truth and Simple Organic brands. It's super cost effective, especially when it comes to buying the organic items. Because of this, I don't have to use coupons often. I'll also buy some items on Amazon when they're on sale since I'm a Prime member. And, anytime Whole Foods, Sprouts, or any other health food store has sales, I get alerts via email. Oh, and of course I shop at Costco for bulk items. But, I have several tips on how to save at the grocery store, so I'll add this idea to my video list! Thank you!
