Currently in month 5 of NC & I have no idea whether I'll ever hear from my ex gf again. All I wanted to say is that the Creative Healing Course has been a huge catalyst for healing since I enrolled 3 months ago. I've dug in and finished 62% of the material so far, and it's rearranged my brain in a way that it gives me a great amount of comfort when I'm doing the work, and where my day would seem wasted unless some of that work had gotten done. The pain of not having that person hasn't gone away, but like Craig and Victoria talk about often in the videos, no matter how everything ends up playing out I've gotten myself to a place where I'm more healed and I can feel myself evolving into the version of myself that will be ready for a healthy love whether that next person is her or someone new.

@@CoachCraigKenneth One thing I like Craig is how you've structured the course so that you're healing through different avenues.....Art, videos, answering questions affirmations. You get the benefit of healing through these different avenues, and what I like even more is that you're not bound in the order you do them. Some days I just know instinctively that I'm not up to drawing art or that an affirmation isn't going to make me feel any better that day.......but because I have the option of skipping over things then returning when it does feel like the right time to do that specific work, everything gets worked through as you feel is right and to me that's important when you're vulnerable

I'm really proud of myself too, I've gotten through almost 75% of the course now, but those hard days are still hard. This morning has really challenging, it's amazing how just seeing something like a a new profile picture or that the person has a new post you can't see because you're blocked can be so triggering. Still heartbroken, still working on it

She came back after blocking me on everything. I was watching something on Insta and I seen her calling. She thought I wouldn’t want her back and that she couldn’t stop thinking of me. I had accepted that she was prob not coming back. She said everything that is said about avoidants in these videos. Literally everything from the relief at first to the not being able to not speak to me again. To the unblocking/reblocking checking on you 50 times, all the way to the anxiousness of losing you to someone else. We had a real strong bond tho, so it’ll prob take a bit longer if you didn’t share a super strong bond. We’re better than ever, keep your heads up and stay focused 🙏🏾

I am secure , he is DA.He discarded / ghosted me after 5 years relation. It has been 2 months now. I did not try to reach out to him . I see him checking my social medias. Surprisingly my heart is not broken although i really loves him. I feel relieved because i dont need to walk on eggs anymore or witness dramas i dont even understand why they are happening. Again i love him but i love myself more.I dont want him back unless he is or has worked toward a more secure attachment. Its a waste of feelings, energies and time to try to build with DA because they are unconsciously committed to burn down what you are building together. The more they love you the more you become their worst enemy.
I believe if someone wants to be with you, they'll be with you. There no second guessing.
If only it was that easy, sometimes the ideal in one persons mind isn’t the way it is in the others. Relationships are complicated and reconciliation is chaos.
These types of people have no business being in relationships causing more damage to people's lives

Coach, as an anxious I struggle to believe anyone cares about me the way I care about them. Its a really devastating thing to sit with, makes me feel horribly alone and just eats away at me sometimes
yes, sometimes we are alone.. take comfort in knowing that you are a wonderful caring person. one day at a time
I often feel the same way! know that you aren’t alone in the way we feel and that it’s normal to feel alone at times! Like the person who commented prior to me said, take it one day at a time!
The only way to change that is to build up your self-esteem and become more secure, become more self-aware, challenge your anxious beliefs and predictions against factual evidence (not mind reading and catastrophising), and stop relying on having a partner to be happy. It's literally the only thing you can do. If you don't do it you will remain as you are now until the day you die.
I’m currently in terrible state. I just ended my situationship with someone who wasn’t willing to own me and was just labelling me as a friend
Stay strong, I hope you find that special person. I feel your pain, it will get better, focus on the betterment of yourself as I'm doing.

With me before therapy and during therapy and then moved out all within a 2 hour span. Non the least so thankful to have found you because your knowledge and education turned my anxious attachment style into

Please pray for my boyfriend to open his eyes. I left him Friday because he is avoidant person, one day hot other day cold. I still love him but told him to take space till he sorted himself out and know what he wants in life
My avoidant ex girlfriend was very cold during the breakup stating that she could not give me what I need. I realized several red flags while doing the knowledge workbooks. They are amazing. I am probably will never hear from her again as she has blocked me on all social media platforms and probably her phone as well. As I am in no contact with her I am working on myself, learning growing and trying to be a better person.

Thank you so much for putting out this content to help all of us deal with our different relationship problems. All of us here are truly hurting and this really helps me cope. Went into the no contact and it’s been rough. My girlfriend who I was going to propose to on her birthday in December just left and blew up our blended family of 6 1/2 years. It sucks to be left in her wake to pick up the pieces she left behind. So many questions and no answers this was a total blindside. I did everything wrong the first few weeks begging and really making a total ass of myself but with these channels it’s enlightening. Thank you

Hi Craig. I have been watching your postings on YT. I have been put at ease in dealing with a rather toxic woman, who I had a relationship with for about 6 months. As I got to know her, I discovered that she had been physically abused in several previous relationships, as well as long term drug abuse. Thow into the mix her mother had cancer and has recently passed. It ended with a text mis understanding, and she dumped me at the drop of a hat! She was taking her mothers Valium and constantly drinking too. So we have both gone NC, and tbh I think I have dodged a bullet, although I miss her very much.
I am staying strong, stoic, and true to myself, continuing with my selfdevelopment and positive future. Thanks for you encouragement.
I’m at 50 days right now, and I’m starting to believe that I can do this.
Do I still want her? Yes, absolutely.
Do I still hope she reaches out? Yes, absolutely.
But do I obsess over it still? Not necessarily.
I’ve started to notice that she is on my mind a little bit less. That isn’t to say I miss her any less, I still miss her tremendously, but I am starting to get myself back.
Still hopeful, but not blindly.

I thought I met someone who cares about me like I care about them. I guess he was anxious at first and then when I returned the feelings he was avoidant. I couldn’t take it anymore when he started to breadcrumb me but still wanted to be there for me which was confusing. He doesn’t want to lose me but he doesn’t want to commit.

Hey guys, I'm commenting this in the hopes of getting some feedback or just to help anyone else out there. I just went through a bad breakup that lasted 6 years. We were also engaged. Anywho, it was bad enough that the police were involved (no charges were pressed), but even after all that, my ex still said she loves me and that if I change, then we can be together. That the ball was in my court. So, within the last month we went no contact, I had signed up to go back to school, got back into the gym, and now are even taking singing lessons and really trying to reflect and go on a self growth journey. I still miss her very intensely, but what has really helped me process the break up was really learning how to love myself and to forgive my mistakes. It's a long journey. I don't expect to see her again for a few years, but that just means I have those years to really chisel myself into the person that I was always meant to be. Best of luck to anyone who's trying to do the same. You're not alone and you can do this!

My avoidant ex always says he thought about me almost everyday for six months. But he never said it or pursued or tried for resolution. He would just text a “hi”. I won’t “see how it goes” with an avoidant, in my experience it doesn’t change unless they open to problems head on.

Wish my situation was different but it was a long distance relationship and when she broke up with me she moved from South America to Europe
I was dumped a week and a half ago. She reached out to me seeming like she was trying to connect….by asking me if I wanted my computer charger…I was cordial and she had some dialogue with it….along with that..she viewed my Instagram story even though she no longer follows me.
I was overly critical of her and I didn’t have a lot of humility…these days apart have really made me see where I went wrong and I would do things differently going forward. I didn’t reach out to her after she messaged me about the charger so I could be thoughtful of her space.
I hope we can work things out. Any advice?

Almost two years of NC and she sent me a DM about thinking about me when she went to a movie theater that we use to frequent often during our relationship but I didn't respond ive moved on with my life I dont want to be bothered by her or her family.

It was weird for me at first my ex was the anxious one kinda like a guard dog she hated every women that talked to me at the time I thought it was cute. I slowly ended up matching her energy and got super worried whenever she wouldn’t contact me because of terrible situations going on at her work. Out of the blue she became a avoidant and just after 2 weeks of becoming like that she dumped me. I’m so confused and just kinda wish I controlled my anxiety I’m now gonna work on myself so that I can find self love and happiness I just hope those spiteful words she said to me she didn’t actually mean because wow they hurt a lot.

I wonder if dumpers still think of you even when they're being blown away right now by the new person they're dating. I don't mean to sound negative but the dumper in this story.. while he did the dumping, we had no info if he started dating somebody new, it seems like he truly just felt guilty that he really believed that he couldn't provide what the girl needs at that time, so it makes sense why he would keep thinking about her everyday.
But anyway really thanks to your channel, I found out that I have an avoidant attachment style and near the time of the breakup I said the same thing as the guy said in this video, that I feel like I can't give what my partner needs, but instead of me dumping her, it seems like her attracted levels went down because of that, probably because it showed lack of confidence in myself, and now she's dating someone who's an athlete, so much better body than me, and probably more confident. I really wonder if there's a chance that she's still thinking about me even though it's been more than a year since the breakup.

Yes. I never forgot my first love, still think of him often. We were together 4 yrs and I broke up with him exactly 20 yrs ago. There will always be something a bit more special about your first love.

Hi coach Craig, after 16 days of no contact she reached out on a Friday night when we were both out drinking... We had a sweet casual 5 minute convo and then she continueed to messagee that night so i asked if she wanted to meet up that night, she said she had a friend staying with her but then suggested to meet up Sunday of which i replied sure im free just lemme know... She never contacted me about Sunday and I've been in no contact again since (5weeks more)

It means you are lurking on their profile too often if you know they are doing that.
@@r.maelstrom4810 She keeps reaching out... but has knocked me back to meet several times in the second half of last year. So, I stopped asking after being knocked back 3-4 times. I'm following all the advice Coaches Craig and Victoria give on NC and waiting till the ex reaches out. So, Thanks, I'll wait for Craig and Victoria's advice on this.

After 2wks of NC my ex proposed to meet for a coffee (it was his 2nd reach out). We met and it was nice and positive. We didn't talk about break up but he was curious about me and asked me if he can help me with searching a bike to buy (I asked him for it during the relationship). At the end he proposed to meet again but since then there is silence (3wks). He only sent me a pic related to our personal joke (after 10 days). It shows he is thinking about me but I don't understand why he doesn't want to meet again. It's confusing for me...:(
Ask him..how do you know he doesn't want tp see you again? Just tell him. If he is respectful he will clarify and you have answers, regardless of the outcome.
@peaceofmindofpeace1650 There is no contact from his side. It's clear for me. Probably, it was the moment of crisis, and the meeting was just for his ego. I do not think it is a good idea to chase and ask him why it is like that. It's time to move on 🙂

My theory? There's another romantic interest that has him pretty confused. I met a woman who would do a similar thing to me... my advice is to remove yourself from that situation.

I have a question. When you walk away from a woman (who you dated a long time) after she broke up with you, why you should tell her "let me know if you change your mind" before you go no contact? I understand it leaves the door open, but does it tell her that you are waiting for her and she doesn't have to worry losing you? And we know that if a woman isn't unsure about you, she never can be attracted to you. Or is it so that when say few months have gone by and she never had heard from you, she starts to think have I moved on for good but she has now easier non fearful option to reach out? How woman's mind work in this one? Please answer if you know why, I'm confused and I need to know this soon so I can make a right move. My ex wants to stay friends but I am going to refuse that. Should I say that "change your mind" line?
I think whether you are a man or a woman, just say it how you feel it.if being friends is to painful for you tell her that you can't.
That you love her but being friends is not possible so you need space to get over it.
Remind her of your genuine feelings and if you have questions and she is sincere as well, ask her what confuses you.
Making your feelings known is strong, not weak. If she is pure of heart she won't feel bothered by your expression.
Anyway, im not an expert but being yourself will be the best for yourself, ai think. Not always easy when you are involved emotionally I know 😊 best of luck!
I would not tell her that it hurts or that you're in love with her. Personally, I would say something like... I appreciate the offer for friends. I think we're great as a couple. I'm going to take time to work on me. If you change your mind reach out."

Please help me. My guy is coming out of a bad divorce where he experienced rejection from his wife. He declared that he doesn't want another woman in his life until he met me. He said that I changed his perspective completely and he and everyone in his life have noticed a positive change in his life and attitude since meeting me. I made a huge mistake of drinking too much in his presence due to feeling nervous about making a mistake or not living up to his expectations of me. He was angry and disappointed. But after my apologies and my changing my behaviour he said everything is fine. But he is still very distant and cold. He has a lot to deal with otherwise but I can't help but feel left out and rejected. He is a decent sincere guy. How do I get things back on track? I think he is a bit hard on you. I meqn, all you did was drink a bit? You weren't extremely drunk or agressive I assume. If he punishes you already by being distant. Praises you first them tells you he is dissapointed in you.

My boyfriend broke up with me about 14 day's ago. He hasn't removed me as " in a relationship with you in Facebook " and in Facebook amd instagram our pictures together have not been removed. Nor has he removed me from his social media. I have applied the no contact since day one. Broke the no contact rule day 12 wanting to see if we could talk any time soon. That as much as he loves me and as much as it hurts it's the best not to and that he is also not going to change his mind, to just take time to heal as we both need it. So after that I will not break the no contact ever again.

After being in no contact for almost half a year, when she didn't even congratulate me on my birthday I couldn't take it anymore so I reached out. Yes I failed, but it actually makes moving on easier now that I know she doesn't give a damn about me.
Nah, bro. That’s typical FA behavior. Two of my last three relationships were with FA women, they’re extremely sensitive and aware of power dynamics, in their mind if they were to reach out to you on your birthday and then you respond with silence, she might as well commit suicide, the rejection would be viscerally intolerable, so they don’t, even though they love you to death. Personally, I wouldn’t go NC with an FA, they’re the least likely to reach out, even though they wish to hear from you desperately, while in turn pretending like they couldn’t care less about you to your face when you reinitiate contact. From my experience/perspective they struggle the most more than the other insecure attachment styles from a lack of self worth core wounds, so they will avoid any potentiality that could or would reinforce those beliefs.
Mine sent a condescending card on my birthday (not sure if the date it arrived was coincidental) telling me to move on. Nasty. So I did. I have a new partner now. Have seen the ex around town, looking miserable and complaining about life. I am happy again. Ex may or may not care about me, but probably will never reach out. We shall see.
