    Yoga for the pelvic floor - our pelvic floor muscles are soooooo important! They're the hammock of muscles that hold all our internal organs up and just like any other muscle in the body the pelvic floor also needs some love, attention, and yup exercise.
    Join me on the mat for some gentle pelvic floor exercises for beginners, mindful breathing techniques and gentle yoga poses to help keep your pelvic floor muscles strong and intact ;)
    This yoga flow is suitable for anyone suffering from Diastasis Recti or pelvic organ prolapse (but please always seek advice from your doctor first)

    Really useful. I'm already doing Kegel exercises but I will add this practice to my daily routine as I love yoga and could really feel my pelvic floor working in these poses. Thank you!

    Great video! when you inhale you are squeezing your pelvic floor and when you are exhaling you are releasing correct?

    • @YogaCandi
      @YogaCandi  4 роки тому +4

      Thank you Sahar. And nope quite the opposite. Feel your belly expand and balloon on the INHALE, relaxing all muscles. On the EXHALE draw the belly up and in toward the spine which will naturally lift the pelvic floor but you can add extra lift by giving a gentle squeeze as if you're stopping yourself from peeing. Hope that makes sense. 😊
