    The hydroponics towers from Vertical Horizons are now available in 3 sizes - 1m (for 18 plants), 1.5m (for 30 plants) and 2m (for 45 plants) and the cost is excellent considering the care and detail. They come with everything needed to create a productive vertical garden and everything is food safe, recycled or recyclable.
    Hydroponic systems take very little maintenance and produce great yields on a tiny footprint.
    In my opinion the incredibly low running costs, high yields and low maintenance make hydroponic systems the method of choice for my leafy veg growing although I have grown micro bush tomatoes and various herbs in them no problem.
    As the nutrient requirements can be very different for leafy and fruiting plants I prefer to have separate systems for each type of plants so I can get the nutrients in solution right for the plant - that way they grow faster, mature quickly and yields are always great.
    The desktop hydroponic planter I showed in a previous video can be bought from Letpot here: letpot.com/

    To be honest I've not much idea of what Rumble is or does but it seems quite popular among people more tech-savvy than me....and somehow plenty of people have already found the videos judging by the views (and 'Rumbles'?).
    Both Odysee and Rumble have new videos uploaded to them as soon as they upload on UA-cam.
    Some of the links above may be to my affiliate programs on Amazon and Ebay so they will throw a few pennies my way if you make a purchase - it costs you nothing extra and helps towards keeping the lights on in my bunker.

      Any negative comments on these systems will no doubt be from people who prepare for nothing then roll their sleeves up for a 10th arm-ticket.
      I don't have to argue, I just have to wait, lol
      I spoke to Rupert from Vertical Horizon and he says there are plenty of orders coming in for the towers so it's great to hear that so many people are waking up to just how useful such systems are.

    Hi Richard seen videos of 206 and 207 fillters regarding the foams in the 206 video u say u don't think the blue foams make a difference but use them in the 207 do think it makes much of a difference thanks

    • @ThousandYardStare
      @ThousandYardStare Рік тому

      The way that first cartridge works leads me to believe that a medium grade pad in there might not catch much more than the coarse pad in the other side but it doesn't really matter - I set filters up differently as there's multiple ways to reach the same goal. Ultimately the finer muck will be caught by the foam and fine pad in the bottom tray of the 206 / 207. Just set it up how you think it makes most sense for your situation and alter it if necessary.

    Also forget buying daylight focus on full spectrum.

    • @pondguru
      @pondguru  Рік тому

      Many of the led lights marketed as full spectrum lights have way too much red and blue to be of much use for leafy growth which is what I'm growing here - full spectrum is good for anything which flowers and fruits.
      What do you grow in your system(s)?

      @@pondguru I have 2 fully planted tanks. 1 has a lot of anubius and others. I'm not good with names. I can happily send you some images if you would like. And in my other planted tank it houses turtles so the plants are growing out of the water. Personally I find the full spectrums produce better growth than the daylight. And in tanks I find full spec produces less algae than daylight.
