Very underrated channel and very knowledgeable. Keep making videos more often like 4 videos per week so that u can gain some subscribers and views, much love and respect from India.
You came up in my feed and I watched the My Story video. Decided to watch this next and looked up the Tower system. Ironically, I'm a trucker and I've driven past one of the stores for this in Memphis with the lights on the tower inside the window. But $700?!? a unit!! That's insane!!! (I still subscribed.😏)
Yeah, the price can seem very high if you are new to gardening. As a 20+ year grower I know how many $100's I have invested over the years on compost and materials that went back into the earth and I have nothing to shore for it. With these towers they last a lifetime so I love that season after season I no longer have to invest those $100's into materials that will vanish back into the earth. But, I totally understand that the price tag is a shocker if this is a whole new concept.

This is a brilliant idea, sadly too expensive for me. The community tower garden is a possibility, though, shared cost. Thanks for these vids, very helpful in these times.
You can use disposable plastic or paper cups in place of the cages for the transfer of the baby plants on the tower. Put some holes on the cups and put them directly in the tower compartments. You don't have to clean and reuse the provided ones or spend money to buy them. Cheap disposable cups come in those sizes and are perfect for these.
Excellent presentation! I'd want the disposable plastic cups to be BPA free (if they're even available). Then again, I wonder if the entire tower is BPA free! I'll have to check.

Is this something you can naturally make yourself? Btw, I never have to buy soil for my garden I just grind up my leaves during the fall and when I cut my lawn, add the grass clippings to it. I never get mold inside my tube. You can get algae on outside in areas where sun and nutrients meet. I clean my towers 2 times a year. A fan helps with plant health when growing indoors and with pollination of tomatoes and peppers.
Absolutely. If you watch some of my other videos you will see I grow many things side by side and interval plant so there are foods at all stages of maturity so we always have food to harvest.
Hi! It is because out mineral blend contains EDTA. EDTA is needed to help the plants absorb iron. They don't absorb iron well in an aeroponic/hydroponic environment. Here is what I put in my ebook about EDTA. I did a lot of research on the topic to make sure I felt comfortable with it. One ingredient in the Tower Garden minerals that initially concerned me was the use of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). EDTA is an acid that is used to assist aeroponic plants in the absorption of iron. Plants in the soil can uptake iron efficiently. In aeroponics and hydroponics, it is more difficult because iron doesn't mix well with water. The EDTA allows the plants to absorb iron more effectively. After researching EDTA, I discovered that plants don't actually absorb EDTA. The plants will absorb the iron and dispose of the EDTA because it is an alien compound. This means that the only exposure to humans would come from drinking the mineral water, which no one would ever do. It is not found to be absorbable through the skin. EDTA is a common additive to pharma products......not that I think that makes it okay.....just adding this detail because many people are consuming this in modern meds as if it's normal and in high doses.

@@theaeroponictowerchannelHi, I just subscribed. I like the concept but not the cost I heard in the chat. I watched your video telling us about how you and your husband transitioned to where you are now. I really can relate. I have a storey to tell as to how I landed up doing a Permaculture Certification. I was in corporate most of my life, I had no time to think, let alone grow anything. I was so busy at work. Eventually I left my job and went to live in a nature reserve. I wanted to help a poor community grow food and somehow I got roped into a Permaculture course. And even those are not cheap. But I did it and the lady who ran the course let me pay it off. It was her suggestion. And it was the best thing that ever happened. I can relate to your storey. I tried to get onto the website to look at the prices of the towers. I live in Germany. The website is not user friendly. I don't know who runs the website but it needs to be sorted out because people want to see the price and the product. Each product needs the price and a few photos. A description. What other additional costs there are to get the whole tower fully functional. The first thing I want to know is can I afford something. I am just one of those people that get very irritated with filling out forms, listening to or reading long sales pitches, or filling out email forms. I just want to get to the point. How much is it, and can I afford it? As much as I love the concept, not everyone can spend alot for one tower plus add on's. Somebody in this chat mentioned 700 dollars. I literally do not spend 700 dollars or euros on my garden every month. You mentioned people put products into the ground and waste alot doing that. I don't spend any money on our garden. We only cut the grass. That grass and the leaves get put onto our 2nd ground. Once in a while I trim branches or bushes back and that goes into our biogical waste container which gets cleared out once a month. The municipality have a system. Everything that is planted in our garden just does it's own thing. I don't even water the garden. It usually rains enough where we live. I used to get pedantic about things until I realised I didn't need to. My partner could not care a damn about growing food. I do, I did Permaculture. I advocate growing food everywhere. I live in the countryside. Everything is an issue in Germany. Their favorite word is forbidden. I get your frustration that your neighbours didn't understand what you were doing at your other house. Anyway, I was a Sales Director for a large corporate company. I costed projects. I hate sales pitches having been in sales all my life. Take me to the page that gives me everything I need to know and the cost. And having done Permaculture we should be looking for ways that do not cost instead of costing a fortune. That is the whole point of teaching a man how to fish. Make it quick, and simple and with very little cost. If we want to save the planet we can't all go out and buy 10 x 700 dollar food production towers even if it is an investment. People can hardly make ends meet. I hope you don't mind me being honest. I think you are doing great and I will continue to stay subscribed. We have to think of the poor people. And to everyone, please collect and save seeds if you can't do anything else. Try to get Heirloom seeds (not GMO seeds - genetically modified seeds) Good natural seeds are gold, and good soil. Put gutters on your roof and collect rainwater. Think of your home as a sun catching, rain catching, food growing machine that you live in. We can grow food everywhere. On roof tops, balconies, in old tomato cans, in car parks, down at the river, in library gardens, on sidewalks, in buildings. Everywhere. But we need good seeds. The pharmaceutical industry and agricultural industry control us. They control the seeds. If we don't have 700 dollars to buy a food growing tower, maybe we can buy 10 dollars or whatever currency worth of heirloom seeds. Even one packet of seeds. You do need good soil to grow anything in. Dead soil or sand is useless. And if you can afford aeroponics or hydroponics great. Take care and let's share knowledge freely, so that everyone can live a better life. Watch permaculture videos on YT. Get ideas and do what you can within your means. Love and light.
@@janinedevilliers510 There is a button under the small form that shows pricing. The towers are a one time cost and last a lifetime. Certainly not for everyone. I have permaculture gardens and had a 100X80 foot food forest. I have 12 years experience with permaculture and sadly it never offered more than supplemental foods and medicinal herbs. Those are amazing things but I need to replace the toxic expensive grocery store. Also, most people can't turn their lawns into a food forest these days. I love the way permaculture gardens look but most people have neighbors who don't love it. We aren't talking about the same thing here. Towers and permaculture gardening are very different and meet very different goals. Thats why I do both.
I also commented and it didn't go through....You are very right! I pray there is change that helps people to find ways to grow food without laws that prevent it and without fast food companies preying on the poor. Food deserts are a real thing and fast food chains prey on them. We live in a very broken man made system. The results of man trying to be God. The same old story. @@janinedevilliers510
It's a special plastic that doesn't break down. These have been used for over 13 years outside with zero breakdown. The things on Amazon and other cheap plastics leach into the water and break down. I invested in these because I can buy it once and know I have it for life.
It's basic supply and demand. Yes, the initial cost is high but you are getting one of the best hydroponic systems available on the market, and the cost to operate the system is less than $2/month. After five years of ownership your net cost per year to grow your own pesticide free greens and vegetables is less than $150/year. That's less than $13/month. Second reason is anytime you are buying something from a multilevel marketing company they are overcharging you to pay commissions to their upline people.
It's not hard to build it yourself, there's lots of how-to videos on YT. Saves a lot of money and you can build them exactly as you want them. Also this one doesn't look very sturdy to me, probably because it's split into many small sections for packaging/shipping reasons.
Is this a skit? The "slide it into the b hole", the cut when the dog ran off barking, the hose being called a wire etc was almost comic chaos. But seriously it was a good presentation.
I was thinking the same, TG allows you to purchase on a payment plan that allows you to pay over 12 months. I am getting ready to order another one. You can do it.

I love your videos!!Keep it up
I have one question:
I have hear that the inside of the tube gets mold over the time,is it true?? And also i have hear the with a fan you can get rid of mold
I never get mold inside my tube. You can get algae on outside in areas where sun and nutrients meet. I clean my towers 2 times a year. A fan helps with plant health when growing indoors and with pollination of tomatoes and peppers.
Can I combine multiple types of vegetables in the same tower?
Absolutely. If you watch some of my other videos you will see I grow many things side by side and interval plant so there are foods at all stages of maturity so we always have food to harvest.
Hello, I'm interested in buying one of these...But now see that it has a cancer warning. Have you seen that or no? Thank you

I want the family garden but it looks like it’s a monthly payment forever? I don’t understand?
Not at all! They offer a monthly option and it’s for 12 months. Or you can pay in full at check out. These are not a monthly subscription thing. They just offer a monthly option to make it more affordable initially for some. Here is my link. Let me know how I can help and I have private ways to communicate with my customers to make sure you have support. tm65675.towergarden.com/shop

Excuse me but how will all this work without electricity?
They have a very very low power usage. I kept mine alive by hand watering for 4 days. I watered once every 2-3 hours then the last watering was 8pm until about 9am. They did amazing. I am purchasing a small solar generator however for more preparedness! We have big generators I could have used but hand watering was so easy I didn't bother running the extension cords.

700$ price tag is ridiculous . Small pump and plastic or pvc. Why so expensive
@@florian5670 for sure I already made a few works great. 👍🏼
