tell my why there are two different cakes in this video 2:51 and 2:53? What happened to the other cake? don't almonds burn if left for 30 minutes of baking?

Ai que gostoso! one of my favourite cakes (YES-there are other cakes that are equally good, but this one is probably the best in Norway). I have never made this cake my self, but there is a first time for everything!

Hi! I'm not an expert in this but I know custard and cream are not the same thing. Maybe there it has a different name, I'm not sure.
I searched a bit and you can also use vanilla custard in this recipe instead of the cream, or use rum cream (it's also super good), or make whipped cream and add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. :)

This cake is SO good, and quite easy to make. If you have that cake on a "cake table" when you have a big party, it always disappear first! There are never any leftovers. You can make it without the vanilla in the middle (I prefer that), and only use whipped cream. ☕️ Good choice! 👩🏼‍🍳

This is my favorite cake. What did you think about it? When we make it we do the cream part a bit different, we whip the cream and put one layer of vanilla cream on and then one layer of whip cream. And we don't use almonds. And we put some vanilla sugar in the sponge. There are so many different recipes for this cake, but all tastes so good :)

I loved it! Especially after it was a bit in the fridge. I like it even more when it cold, I'm not sure why Hahah That sounds super interesting. Next time I will try to bake it your way ;)

Sounds delicious. I wasn't quite sure what type of sugar you are using in this recipe. Could you let me know? Thank you.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year to all!

It's a big cake! I would say for 8 people. (It depends on the size of the pieces of cake you close to slice)
