Be aware if you are prog intolerant then a hysterectomy will still only reduce PMDD as we still produce prog in other areas of our bodies. I had surgery over 4 years ago....still feel a cycle. I also was treated by Doctor Panay

Although worse during luteal phase, I feel symptoms as well when my period barely ends or my body is trying to make my period end. I don't think my body wants me to get my period anymore at all. Its over it 😂. Before I developed the pmdd I went a few months of fever and nausea right before period. I wish my body would just naturally go into menopause quickly.

Yes, depo Provera made me cry and has always been bad any time I use a progestin only pill or device.. I'm OK on xulane though however after a year xulane makes my breasts hurt..on xulane I went from breast cysts to fibroadenomas in a year on xulane in 2020. Now I'm on xulane for pmdd and am worried for my breasts. I really want a full hysterectomy, ovaries, tubes, uterus and cervix. I have stage 1 abnormal cells on my cervix due to previous positive hpv. I'd really like to get this done but getting my womens clinic to ok the surgery will be a struggle. I'm 37, have my one 13 year old child. I'm in perimenopause. My mother was in menopause by 45. I'm ready for this.

This is really, really sad. Your leg hurts, amputate, memory issues, just remove the brain... our medical system is so screwed up. . I cured my PMDD with an animal based diet. Check out Georgia Ede to learn how a carnivore, ketogenic, or even just low carb diet, changes the brain and treats any mental illness. PMDD is an issue of how the brain responds to hormonal fluctuations. The solution is not to remove the hormones. Hormones are neccessary for overall health and aging. The women tricked into sugical menopause are going to age rapidly and end up with all kinds of health problems. Anyone advocating for this is a monster and needs a paradigm shift and to restart their education.
