  • Hello my friend! Today I wanted to tell you all about compression socks or stockings. I live with POTS, a form of dysautonomia and I wear compression socks every day to help me manage my symptoms. Below are my recommended compression socks.

I can hardly stand without wearing them haha. My legs get a little itchy at the top but it's worth it for me! Everyone is different. Hope you find things that work for you! :)

Thank-you! I have vasovagal / neurocardiogenic syncope and I have been wearing full-height *exercise* compression tights. They make a big difference. But I tried full-height medical compression tights and it was both way too hard to put in and just too uncomfortable around my stomach (I have a lot of dysautonomia-related nausea problems).
This video inspired me to try again with just the knee-height compression.
You did not talk about how to take them off, so I’m assuming that’s not as hard as putting them on 💁‍♀️.
Again, thanks. I’ll try the Jobst!

Everyone is different, but from my experience the best quality knee highs work best for me! Hope you find what works for you!

Thank you for the review. I use the MGANG 20-30mmHg knee high hose. They are half the cost of the Jobst (Amazon). I have multiple pairs, but still got too lazy to continue handwash so I wash in washer now, but air dry them. Dryer is a no-no. If you try them please compare to Jobst. I do suggest doning gloves to new users.
You have super human strength to just pull them on, but I use the heel method (see UA-cam)! It gets easier with practice, and is so worth it to wear them. Sometimes, I wear TED hose at bedtime. Thanks, again.

Hi Aimee, I have also been diagnosed with POTS. I am wearing my only pair of compression socks right now, Dynaven 20-30 mmHg thigh-highs and they are really good at staying up. But they are so expensive. I only wear them when I'm feeling terrible or I plan on being on my feet all day. Do you where the Jobst socks when you exercise? I was wondering if I should get the cheaper socks for everyday/exercising and the Jobst socks for flair/big event days. I am short/petite, so could the regular exercise socks be too long? What if they reach my knee? Thanks for the video. I was overwhelmed with the number of options.

I literally bought a 3 pack of ones to your knees when you talked about them in a prior video.... but I forgot why. I feel extra horrid on days with barometric pressure ( Video on that? Help) change and im gonna try them. So thank you! 😊 Btw- Are you shirts/sweatshirts bella canvas?

Jobst should make a design that has a stretchier, reinforced heel, this seems like a common problem! I have a few pairs of athletic compression socks that have a padded heel and toe, they are so much more comfortable, they arent as tight on my heel and walking without shoes is better than the socks that use the same material throughout the entire thing.

I've got the cheap sports ones. I'm keen to try the more expensive socks though. Be worth the high price even if I'm only a bit less faint. Btw do they improve the tremendous fatigue too of low blood pressure?
    Thanks from the UK 🙂

I see a night and day difference when I wear medical compression socks. It doesn't solve all my problems but every time I go just a few minutes without them all my symptoms get 10x worse. It helps my fatigue a lot (again, doesn't mean that I have zero fatigue but it helps more than anything else I've tried.) Everyone is different but they make a huge difference for me! 🤷

@@Aimee_Esther thanks for the reply. I will have to invest in a pair. I think I'll struggle getting them on, but worth the effort I guess.
      All the best
