We run legit miles in our shoes and provide honest, no BS reviews of running shoes, running gear, and running races.
I love the injinji toe socks. I wear them almost exclusively. Never had any blister issues. Minor drawback is taking a tiny bit longer to put on....and inevitably pulling out 3 or 4 right socks from my drawer before I can find a left!
Robbe once tried on two pairs of Injinji at REI, then accidentally bought 2 left socks and had to drive back the next day and switch them out
after you wash and dry them, stuff one sock inside the other.
Jep, Feetures socks are amazing. I also love Stance, Rockay, CEP and UYN socks. All just great!
Agree never had Rockay. But recently purchased them and must say love them….great socks for long runs with high cushion running shoes
I bought Rockay calf sleeves and the Flare socks in the un-dyed silvery color (called “eco-white”) because the fabric feel particularly great. I also love that they come up a little higher on the ankle and cover the Achilles area, but are still pretty low-cut. Also love Stance but they run a bit warmer.
Balega are the best socks I’ve had… and you right, running socks makes all the difference! No one wants chicken only on a sandwich, good socks are the Mayo 👍🏻💯👌🏻
I've got pretty wide feet so most shoes I have already feel snug/tight, width-wise in the forefoot. Would injiji toe socks with the extra material between the toes make the tightness worse?
I haven’t had any issues with injinji and width, although yeah I could imagine it being a slight problem with shoes where you’re already having a toebox issue. The biggest issue with injinji is how long it takes to get all your dang toes right in each spot lol
You shouldn't have an issue, it compresses down
Injinji’s all day long! Game changers!
I feel like spending over $20 on a pair of socks is a rite of passage for runners
Yeah what I really want to know is if there are any cheap Chinese Amazon knock-offs that I can get that will do the same job at quarter of the price
I need a recommendation for some decent daily budget socks. I think I need quarter socks because I'm getting some heel rash/cuts from my no show socks. I'm just strictly using the treadmill for light daily jogging only.
Using the following shoes:
Asics Gel Nimbus 23
Brooks Ghost 14
New Balance 880v11
Nike Air Zoom Vomero 10
Nike Air Zoom Structure 23
Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35
Saucony Triumph 17
Saucony Ride 17
Brooks Launch 8
Adidas Adizero Adios 6
I use thorlo padded socks. They help give more cushion. I’m an older bigger runner.
Injinji socks are by far and away the best runners sock out there. They are are goofy looking, but they work amazingly.
My faves are the Cep crew length compression socks for being supportive for my feet and sweatwicking, thickness is not too thick not too thin. Length is nice to also support my ankles.
The sock pundit! Good stuff…I don’t like the sensation of Injinji on my toes and they’re so hard to get on and off. Feetures is the way to go!
Man I get shoes on sale £70 the most 💰💰😳 but looking at socks 🧦
Love the hat, btw
Long socks in the summer? .....madness, it still looks like you have socks on when you take them off 🤣 Have to make the most of trying to look sun kissed here in the UK.
1/4 socks for me. I was using light cushion socks but tried Nike spark lightweight socks and love them, will be sticking with lightweight thin socks for now.
Love your work, keep it up. Thank you.
Interesting video, but I was expecting you to talk about the formula 1 of all running socks. Socks made with bio fibers, that are 25% lighter than synthetic fibers, 50% more breathable and 100% biodegradable. Check UYN socks from Italy, try them and probably you will never want any other. Thks
Love my Steigen's!!!
How about Nike? Multiplier vs Spark vs Spark Lightweight? Ankle vs no show and black or white too if your shoes are black and care about fashion too
I done that spend 115 pounds on trainers then brought 6 quid socks 10 pack loool
I get pain in my right foot , just in the middle when running . Can you suggest the right sock
Hurdle the new company that came out 2 months ago is so good
compression and support for the lower calf is why I myself prefer longer socks, style comes 2nd lol
I like comfort. Everything I wear is worn inside out : )
Azengear compression socks are worth trying out!
Running socks can help with slightly more comfort while running but are not essential. Kenyan and Ethiopian runners, the best distance runners in the world dont wear 20 dollar socks growing up, and look how they dominate the world.
For some people they aren’t necessary. They are a must for me. I haven’t found a perfect sock though.
Alot of them didn't wear shoes either growing up or if they did shoes that were certainly not meant for running. Their's alot more than shoes and socks that make them great runners.
True.
I believe his point is when Joe spends say 200 dollars on a pair of shoes, don't pair it with a 2 dollars socks.
If my budget is 202, i would spend 180 on shoes and 22 on socks
@@chocolatechow7697 Just buy Darn Tough running socks. They have a warranty guarenteed for life. You only have to blow your budget once.
They are essential for me when wearing my running shoes. Regular socks hurt my feet in them. Mind blowing.
my feet has a limited life??
They usually last less than 100 years
I never knew this
I have just finished my Clifton 7 (615km). I race on the alphafly or adios pro, threshold etc on the tempo next percent, and now I need a replacement for my Clifon 7 for the big bunch of miles for marathon training. Another Clifton, the More V3 or Nike Zoom X invisible or something else even?? I want them to be nice and friendly for my feet, 80kgs with 5:20 pace on the longer zone 2 runs.
in America, you wear US made Icebreaker, Darn Tough, Smart Wool merino wool socks.
Icebreaker are mostly made in China (and other parts of SEA). They were originally manufactured in New Zealand.
@@Xavis0 damn. Fb lied to me on that one 😠
We do love all those brands for sure. Any merino is hard to beat.
What ASICS are those in the thumbnail
They look kinda like the Asics Tarther Blast in Glacier Grey/Aizuri Blue.
Yep, the Tarther Blast. More of a lifestyle shoe.
Well I disagree.
With plastic socks the sweat either stays inside the sock or goes outside into your shoe.
First ones means stinky feet, second stinky shoes while cotton absorbs it and you put the sock into the wash.
🤦🏻♂️ Christ… there’s always one
Ok dude… you keep washing your little cotton socks and tell the entire running world that cotton is better 👍🏻😂😂
I found a brand at my local running store, OS1st.
L and R specific. Really enjoying them.
