I almost always use a story relating to death or mythology. The two are very closely linked, and its very easy to get in lots of metaphors.
What types of metaphors have you used for these?

-The sun setting
-A final leaf falling of a branch
-Walking down a hill

The final leaf falling off a branch may represent the final part of someone's life.
Walking down / up a hill on a journey somewhere could represent their ascent or descent into heaven or hell.
I used these on my last mock and got 22/24 for content.

Hello Mr Everything, have you any advice on DAFOREST for paper 1, on question 5,
DAFOREST is for q5 paper 2 only. You must use each letter and meaning of the words and implement it to your story

@@kkxsbhffhm-rs8ibyes thats ok, as long as you don’t copy directly from it, for example, you could write about a student getting invited to a school of magic, just changing it all around a bit, your just using an idea. You can also use quotes from your poems, for example, when i did my mocks, i wrote a story where somebody died at the end, and i wrote “all smiles stopped together.”

effect on the reader? like if it evokes a strong feeling of something e.g empathy, sorrow. A good word to use is visceral - an intense feeling. You could go on to explain how this feeling helps the reader relate to the narrator's situation and what it enlightens the reader to.
