    I have baked this 4 times. The first time my 16-year old son tasted it, it put a smile on his face. He's a fuzzy eater. I have made it into dinner rolls or a loaf of bread. They came out just as nice. My oven works best with 150 degrees Celsius, baked for 22 minutes. I would suggest you to try out your oven and adjust accordingly. Thanks for posting this recipe. This recipe came handy as the Hong Kong Government banned the unvaccinated from going to Super Markets, Restaurants, Malls etc. So I baked my own bread. Who needs the super market anyway :-).

    So awesome! Made these more savory and less sweet by *not* adding the extra 1/4c. of sugar with the flour. Rolled into a big rectangle, sprinkle grated cheddar, rolled it up and cut like a cinnamon roll. Brushed with egg, sprinkled a bit more grated cheddar on top and let the buns rise for 30 mins. Great dough recipe, thank you!

    Thank you so much for your clarification on instant yeast and active dry yeast. I thought they are the same, I never realize they require different cooking technique to get the dough to rise perfectly. Love your recipe.

    I tried this recipe, they are sooo good!! I used evaporated milk mix with condensed milk instead of fresh milk. And I cut down the sugar to half as the condensed milk is already sweet. And it turned out really good. Im soo glad I found your video! Thank youu for the recipe!!

    Tip- While rising and baking add a bowl of hot water the steam makes it extra soft and spongy so yummy ..

      What kind of flour was used? I tried using with with King Arthur baking company flour I bleached all purpose and the Doug still comes out very sticky even after letting it sit before kneading

    I tried it and it came out SOO GOOOOOOD, even better than in the video. Al my previous attemps at making buns failed. my family was scared when i told them i was gonna try make buns again,because they had to eat al the previuos attemps. But with this recipe i finally showed them that i can bake.💜💜💜💜

    These were delicious! My children just kept eating them and asking for more. I made them as rolls on a night that we ran out of bread for Barbecue Chicken Sliders. My daughter and I loved them as slider bread but the Men folks just want Strawberry preserves or peanut butter. They taste great just did not rise as high. I believe my yeast was not that great. Make sure to double the recipe; you will be mad at yourself if you don't! Thanks for sharing! My little man enjoyed helping me kneed the dough! Family Fun!

    Hii Ma'am...I tried making these soft buns today...they came out really soft and yummy...I always wanted to make buns...this is the first time I tried...i was so happy to see them ...come out perfect...my Mom really liked them..I did spend four hours...but it was worth it.

    I did this with instant yeast. It came out perfect. My brother thought it was a store bought.😅 Finished all in one night. I had failed several times before with other recipes. But with this video, i finally managed to make buns like a professional...hahaha...so happy! Thank you.

    I just made these! Thank you so much. They are amazing! I added garlic and onion powder into the 1/2 cup of butter before adding it to the egg/yeast mixture.

    I've been using this recipe twice & the results were magnificent! I added sugar & shredded cheese as their toppings and my siblings love it very much. Also i made some cinnamon butter filling & this is the best cinnamon bun i ever made! The bread was fluffy and soft, the best recipe ever. Thank you for sharing this ❤️

    Was looking for bread roll recipe and came across this. Just baked them and they turned out super soft and beautiful. Sprinkled some sesame seeds on mine. My family loved them. I guess next time I will reduce my oven heat to 165°C to get a lighter brown bake. But on the whole it turned out great. Will try out as a loaf next time

    I made these today after watching the video earlier and I must say, these are soooo soft and buttery and delicious. My 8 year old absolutely loved it with cheese straight out the oven. Will definitely not be buying store rolls again

    I think this is my tenth time using this recipe to make the dough. I added some twists to the end result like adding a stuffing or presenting it in a different way but the bread itself is perfect every time thanks to this recipe

    I made these and they were delicious and fluffy, just as depicted in the video. My husband bought Golden Chick yeast rolls (not knowing I had baked these from scratch) and they were still left the next day, but my homemade rolls were all gone. This recipe is a keeper.

      So if I'm using instant yeast do I need to make that first wet mixture or just move on. No milk and all that small stuff?

      Just add it to the dry ingredients and keep going. Mix the wet ingredients as shown.

    I am trying your recipe but I’m putting diced sweet orange & red peppers in between the buns before second rise. I’ve also put some grated cheese in the middle of each bun before I form them. Topping with very thin sliced sweet onions and mozzarella cheese. Will still egg wash the tops. I’ve mixed minced garlic with butter to top after baking. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe and for demonstrating each step with a time line on how long to rise each time. Very grateful!

    I tried this recipe for the first time. I was surprised the rolls came out well. I cut the recipe down to for 12 rolls, used instant yeast, room temp milk since recipe did not indicate milk should be warm, baked at 350 degrees F and used honey butter while they were still hot. I will be using this recipe again. Thanks

    Just made these today & it was a big hit with my family! Some tips I have when making these are to make sure your milk is warm, otherwise the yeast won’t activate. Also, if you’re in the United States, don’t forget to convert the temperature to 355 degrees Fahrenheit instead of 180C!!

      ​​@@shshannnn_ello😊 your milk should be just around 185 degrees Fahrenheit, and it should be lightly steaming. ❤
      So not too long, you can microwave it in thirty second intervals, stir, microwave again, or heat it up on a low medium temp on the stove.

    We're on a 4 day lockdown here in Suva, Fiji and can't make a trip to the shops for buns or bread. Found this recipe and OMG 😯 I totally nailed it on my first try. Did another round and I was slaying it 😁😎

    Tried this yesterday and it's sooo good.. Super fluffy! Super soft! Not sweet and milky.. The dough is good to knead its not sticky. I don't have to leave it to become less sticky as you said.. And it's yummier and softer the following day. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

      Mark Justine Tañamor I used instant yeast and mine turned out okay :) I know it said that instant yeast can be added straight up to dry ingredients, but I still mix it the active dry yeast way. Just remember you’d have to convert the right amount. 1tsp of active dry yeast = 3/4 tsp of instant yeast.

    I kneaded my dough for many years until I watched a recipe where it was just mixed together covered rose made into rolls rose again. Then baked . No knead. I tried it and they were fantastic. I will never knead again.
    This recipe is virtually the same one I use it is a good one

    Followed this recipe exactly and I made my first perfect batch of dinner rolls. I literally had a ratatouille moment back to my childhood when I ate them. I added a garlic butter on top after they finished cooling.I froze a few balls for later as well…thanks so much!
