Really helpful video as always, I'm not really a fan of Zara but I would love to see a similar video about Mango, I think the quality it's most of the times a bit better
Kinda near tears with this as I love that with this video and your positive insights, you are not looking down on those who Zara (and other fast fashion) might be what's within some ladies budget at the time. Some of the comments reflect the shaming and gatekeeping that comes with women simply trying to look better however best they can afford it - - while videos like this demonstrate that elegant ladies show constructive kindness and understanding toward those genuinely looking to improve themselves. I remember a time where I was barely making enough to keep life sustainable - - I was humble enough to focus where I needed yet still I was very very sad feeling like elegance was out of reach in my life. Tips like these are helpful for ladies to incorporate elegance within their budget, helping them feel better about how they look as they continue do better for themselves in other areas. Continued blessings to you for this work, Anna.
True. Also, it's easier on the budge for those of us who's trying to lose weight. I wont buy substantial clothing purchases until i get to my goal, however I find "fast fashion" a good alternative until then.
True talk. In my opinion, classic and elegant are not always the clothing. I have seen women with very expensive clothes, shoes znd exessories but very mean and heater. I don't know if I call them classy or ...
I’m loving these positive videos full of ideas! Those “what not to wear” videos are nice, but after watching them I always ask myself: “what can I wear then?” Thank you Anna!!
I can not express enough how glad I am to have found your channel. My whole life I struggled with fashion. Your videos have taught me so much! Not only that, I’ve learned how to put together an elegant outfit on a budget! Thankyou for all your hard work, and teaching us how to become elegant ladies! ❤️
@@ApricusInaros i just have expensive taste, and im a perfectionist and things have to sit perfect… and zara almost never does so… it ends up being for the better anyway 😂😂
The one thing I struggle with the most isn't finding the right clothes, but the RIGHT shoes for wearing those clothes. I never have a clothing problem but always a shoe problem.
H&M has these turtle neck 3/4 sleeve shirts as well at the moment, and the fabric feels so light and good, perfect for end of summer! And even cheaper with a great cut. I went travelling and found it by accident and am so happy about it.
An interesting note about Zara an insider told me is that because of the company's size, it can afford to get good designers not only for their clothes items but also for the design of their fabrics and fabric patterns. I purchased a few summer dresses this year that had people stopping me to compliment them.
Target is similar. My hairdresser's boyfriend worked for Target for a year and made a fortune. Low status but high cash! In a different business, a tabloid reporter makes much more money than a high status legacy newspaper for the same reason of status vs. money. Interesting!
In Fast Fashion, it’s not the designers who are being unsupported and underpaid, it’s the workers. There are many environmental, as well as basic human rights reasons, to find an alternative outlet for fashion. If everyone were receiving a fair wage, it’s impossible a garment could be sold for so little money. Please consider this when you shop, please. ❤️
I usually stay away from fast fashion because they are greatly lacking in quality and workmanship. Yet, I will watch with an open mind! I always enjoy your videos and look forward to them every week.
@ Mile C I would classify Zara as fast fashion. Mango too but it’s better quality. The rest on the list are mid range/premium and actually tend to be better quality than “designer” because they’re all about the quality rather than flashy labels
Although @L Musima H&M does have a premium range including some cashmere pieces. Don’t stay away from fast fashion just know how to shop smart. Primark can go though 😁 but their cosmetic bags are ok
We like these types of videos more than the "What NOT to wear" ones because they leave us thinking about what to wear then. So please make more of these. Thank you very much. ❤ Also can you do Banana Republic next? ❤
Anna, could you please make a video of how to dress nicely for long flights? Some airport etiquette or even some packing information, there’s just so many cool things that you could discuss about when it comes to traveling abroad. 😊 thanks!
I’m wowed! Anna really looks always expensive even if she’s just wearing fast fashion brands. I have to check those clothes & try it to me now. You’re such a legit influencer my Dear Anna! I want to emulate your style all the time… elegant, classic, classy even in casual. Keep it up!
I was struggling with that myself. I got a ton of clingy dresses from ASOS because they’re more slimming and reduce the bulk. Now that the weather is turning I pair them with motorcycle jackets and light colored puffer vests. I get tons of compliments. I’ve found that the maternity pants don’t look so great because most tops add a lot of bulk however I invested in the high waisted spanx leggings and tuck my sweaters above my bump and pair with nice tennis sneakers or heeled boots.
I own a few of Zara’s blazers, coats and blouses that look expensive and I always get complements on. It hit or miss store but it works , I rather travel the world than spend my month salary on Chanel jacket
Anna, when shopping I'm always like "would Anna wear this ?" and the other day I got that same turtle neck in the same color ! I'm so happy you really chose it !
I love this kind of video. of course I will buy all these clothes because they are beautiful. Could you do the same video but in shops like Mango and H&M , please ?
Let me tell you that this is exactly my style for years now, I've always chosen clothes intuitively. And I'm shocked that the more videos I watch of you the more I'm questioning myself how did I do that without taking any kind of training?! But I think it's because I have eyes for colors, proportions, details and most importantly I'm so aware of my shape😅 That being said, Anna I love this kind of videos the most. Keep inspiring us! Have a great day😊
You must have had a very good example in your mom! I know that's where I learned most of my style, but even when I was a little kid, ten or so, I was very particular about my clothes and I have never liked cheap stuff--I looked around, even in thrift stores, for classic, good-quality items I could afford. Thanks, Mom!
Thank you for your videos Anna. I bought the camel trousers and the turtleneck a week ago and I am so happy to see them in this video. I have been following your suggestion since last years. Thank you for teaching us how to be classier and how to elevate our looks on a budget ❤️
Anna you look fabulous in this video! The lighting looks somewhat natural and yet it enhances what is beautiful about your features - you have always looked like a real up class lady here, but now it feels even more real in this one! Of course people see you like this in real life, but I am happy to see it as a viewer, giving me a boost in motivation to keep going on this journey myself. Amazing finds from Zara as well… Thank you for the video and thank you for being you❤
@2:42 the length of pants + the 'extenders'....Anna in my time (90s) we always wore hemlines on our pants/trousers that went to the floor. Yes, it made our legs look really long. Many of us, when hemlines became 'ankle' pants, we didn't like. We liked our legs looking long! I'm glad to see 'trousers' are coming back so we can wear 'leg extenders'.....love long looking legs!!!
Loved the outfits my dear Anna! Please continue making these shopping haul videos becasue it gives us phenomenal ideas and inspiration for outfits. I personally hate oversize trend as well becasue as a petite it makes me look wider and bulky. Love tailored, high waisted, well fitted garments.
I love your videos on clothing and accessories! Would love your opinion and suggestions on brands that are higher end than Zara but less than brands like Hermes etc. i have purchased several designer handbags that you have suggested and am so pleased with all of them. I feel incredibly elegant when I carry them and couldn’t be happier with them. You have very good taste.
Which country are you in, and which items are you looking for? Bags or clothing? Isabel Marant and René Derhy are good quality but not heavily advertised
Anna could you please consider doing a video on elegant lounge wear for around the house, that would be appropriate if someone was to just pop by. I like wearing two piece lounge outfits with matching house shoes or fancier slipper, for days I’m home taking care of the house.
I love the coat. I would probably change out the buttons and do something a little more expensive looking. I would probably layer with the blazer and put a medium thick belt around it. Wearing a belt with a blazer looks stunning and unique, but sometimes hard to pull off.
I really like your bargain videos. Thanks for sharing. BTW, could you make a video with the Polo Ralph Lauren brand? They have a beautiful and classic style. 😉
Watching this video made me realize how much more expensive clothes have become! I bought Italian pair of pants from Bloomingdales for $80.00! Before the pandemic! But the clothes look nice! Thanks Anna! 😊❤❤
Thank you Anna, I just purchased the camel trousers from the video and I'm so happy about it. The fitting is just amazing! I usually used skinny pants because I thought they looked better on me but I think you just changed my mind! Thank you 🙏🏼
Love you !! Would you ever do a video like "rating my subscribers elegant outfits "? Where we could submit our outfits and you could give us tips on how to elevate them further !! Much love ❤️
I wish I could get well dressed like this all the time. I'm a 5 months old mom, working from home. So it isn't worthy to wear my nice clothes at home because they will get dirty by baby's puke and cleaning products. But I try my best to look as neat as possible and I refuse myself to spend the days on pajamas. Edit to add : But thanks to you, Im allways keeping my hair blown dry. I learned how to do it myself and it makes a lot of difference.
I love watching this lady because I like getting advice on how to appear/act more elegant. Though I’m tatted up, which I do not regret, so I would definitely not be considered “elegant” on any level because of them. But I love to mix my look up. I can wear long sleeves, long dress pants, to appear elegant some days. Then dress more of my casual, “punk”, attire. I like to keep people guessing and almost, surprised, when they see I am tatted.
Hi Anna! I loved this video! One thing I wish you would do, is some styling videos for us plus size ladies that are working on losing weight but are still curvy for now.
So true about sneakers. Especially here Europe we walk a lot sometimes on cobblestones and cars are not allowed on certain streets. So a pair of elegant neutral color sneakers is a must.
Hey Anna ! ❤. Could you please make a detailed video on how to store your clothes carefully and keep them neat . Maybe some packing advice or how to keep your wool coats and silk blouses carefully so they don’t get destroyed due to weather or mites . Right way to keep certain fabrics in your wardrobe 🌹🌹🌹🌹
I don't know what you did different with your make up and your hair but ..... they both look beautiful.... Your hair is very pretty when it's down .....(instead of the side ponytail) ❤️😁
Anna, can you please make a video where you show what to wear at the office (feminine) more dresses, skirts but for winter and autumn. How to combine the ankle boots and boots with these office outfits to look elegant and classy? Thank you
Thanks for making this video. I usually dress goth, but I'm leaning more towards lightening things up, lately.. I've never bothered to look at Zara before, but I like the colors in the video.. I don't know much about "normal" clothes, and this is quite helpful. I would definitely like to see more of these types of videos..I only know about 6 inch platform boots, dog collars, fishnets, etc.. I'm kind of tired of that heavy dark look. Thanks for sharing 🙂👍.
You will be doing yourself a favor to quit the goth look! It can look immature and extreme, which is off-putting and takes away from your true abilities. Start with some black pieces--dress pants, blazer, a simple dress, quality pumps, some of the sneakers Anna recommends. As long as you choose classic styles, you will always have something to wear that is appropriate.
Hello. You are a very elegant lady and I giggled when you said that if you have an itch on your head...you scratch it not itch it..I have to remember the very same. I have taken note of all your elegant tips and I'm still learning from you. Your taste is impeccable and you are so honest because you admit your past mistakes. You were younger so you actually got away with it.
thank you Anna for creating a Zara clothing video. I'm starting a new wardrobe and I can't afford the high end designer clothes. Zara is more affordable for my budget and your clothing advice is really helping
Anna, thank you so much for making me fall in love with light and classy colors 😍. I have a suggestion too. Long dresses are loaded in the market this year and they look so beautiful. But I need little bit of guidance about which ones are more elegant as there's variety.
Hello Beautiful Anna 💕 I have learned so many things from you. I love your videos So much!! You have the sweetest voice!! Love you from US . Renee ❤️❤️
Anna I think you look absolutely elegant and gorgeous in these! I'm a fresh grad and gonna enter the workforce soon, I'm gonna take these as my office wear inspos 😘
Thank you Anna! Excellent video, as usual. I will get a few items from the list because it's challenging for me to be casual and elegant at the same time.
Anna, those are the most helpful videos ever! please make more of them to us, I know it must be more difficult to make but it is worth it I think! very helpful!
Can there be a video on how to dress elegantly while living on a tropical place such as Puerto Rico? I live here and I'm slowly creating an elegant wardrobe, but it is a bit difficult since almost everyone does not dress this way.
Monochrome outfits Neutral colours Also, the colours that go well with your skin undertone. (There's a theory that divide skin undertones in four seasons) Maxi skirts Shirts Simple basic tank tops Big hats made with natural materials. Do you have Pinterest? You could find plenty of inspiration out there. And the lady on the other comment is very right. Linen is key!
I was having second thoughts about that padded jacket you wore at the end but now I bought it yesterday after seeing you wear it . ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️. It honestly looks really really good and is body hugging and well made
Thanks for showing Anna yes some discounted stores you can find nice things like clothing and home accessories.Ross Target TJ Maxx Burlington and Marshalls. All those garments are nice
Dear Anna, I’m your follower from the very beginning and fan of yours. Something is different/changed about you. I can’t explain it properly, I feel like you are more humble, simplified and you look more comfortable in your skin. Maybe this is just me, but I’m sensing you are transitioning somehow. Best wishes ❤
I have tried this cream coat on - the smallest size is too large for me, unfortunately! It's too wide in shoulders, so I can't really tailor it... I will never be able to find a fittong coat or jacket in fast fashion, I ALWAYS have this very same problem 😭 But the material was suprisingly good, it has a fair percentage of wool and cotton (I believe 50% or maybe even more) with a little bit of polyester and a viscose lining!
Anna. I enjoy your videos so very much. I often wonder if these style tips translate well for fuller figures? I have been losing quite a bit of weight and am in an awkward phase between plus size and standard sizes. Of course I have more weight to lose to feel confident. Do your style courses include information on adjusting for fuller figures or those who are larger sizes? Thank you so very much for the commitment you have to you followers.
I’m not Anna obviously, but I have a chronic illness that when I flare up, the medication I have to take (prednisone) makes me gain weight. I refuse to take it except only as a last resort. My condition is finally in remission but I had gained 32 lbs within 3 months. The only big piece of advice I can give is to buy elegant pieces even at the larger sizes. When I was bigger earlier this year I had a nervous breakdown as I was supposed to teach Sunday school one particular Sunday and absolutely NOTHING in my closet fit me- it dawned on me that for the longest time I had refused to buy dresses and nice pieces in larger sizes, and by doing that I was really doing myself a disservice. The next weekend I went to the consignment shop and purchased two nice solid color dresses in larger sizes for $5 a piece and it was a relief knowing that I would have something nice to wear. I was afraid that if I purchased larger sized nice pieces that I would get “locked” into that size, like it would make me complacent, but that hasn’t been the case- I’ve now lost half the weight I had gained (they also recently discovered I have hypothyroidism, and natural desiccated thyroid has helped me lose the weight). The only huge difference between the way I dress when I’m larger vs when I’m smaller, is I avoid patters and light colors when I’m bigger. Darker solid colors will provide a bit of a slimming effect. I buy 90% of my clothes secondhand; if you know what size you wear in certain brands, ThredUp is a great online resource and they commonly run sales. Also I can spend hours in goodwill. If you end up with an item or two you ultimately don’t like or that won’t work out due to weight fluctuations, you won’t be out a lot of money from buying secondhand, and generally you can sell it online for perhaps even more than what you bought it at, if it’s a good piece.
@@lmitchell3604 thank you for your helpful response. I have heard of ThreadUp but haven’t heard many people give feedback. It is so very difficult dealing with fluctuations and clothing changes. With Autumn bringing cool temperatures rather abruptly I’m finding I need to purchase some basics to get me transitioned. Many of my clothes from last year just don’t fit and although it’s a good problem it also makes me feel really frumpy. Thanks again for your feedback.
For oversized outfits try and find a tailor who will adjust the garment for you. Buy some buttons and swap them. Add buttons where there are nit. Use ribbon to edge cuffs or why not embellish with pre-made embroider pieces.

But it's always possible to be considered elegant being tatted up. You can be that person.
Hi Anna! I loved this video! One thing I wish you would do, is some styling videos for us plus size ladies that are working on losing weight but are still curvy for now.
I'm so excited, these are my favourite videos x
So true about sneakers. Especially here Europe we walk a lot sometimes on cobblestones and cars are not allowed on certain streets. So a pair of elegant neutral color sneakers is a must.
Love Your Energy in this particular video, Anna - you transmit such an honest, friendly and enthusiastic attitude, THANK YOU!🫶🏻
Hey Anna !
Hello maria, how're you doing...
Thank you so much Anna for sharing with us your purchases at Zara. I particularly like the peplum blouse.
can you make a video how to look expensive as a student in university?
I love that you go for trousers that flare out at the end a bit! They look so great on you. 💕
Love these Zara finds Anna! Please share for every season!
thank you Anna for creating a Zara clothing video.
This shade of Pink looks AMAZING on you!
Hello Beautiful Anna 💕 I have learned so many things from you. I love your videos So much!! You have the sweetest voice!! Love you from US . Renee ❤️❤️
Links would be nice. Can't find the blue top, nor the camel pants, and jacket
Anna I think you look absolutely elegant and gorgeous in these! I'm a fresh grad and gonna enter the workforce soon, I'm gonna take these as my office wear inspos 😘
I love these types of videos! Thank you Anna!
Thank you Anna! Excellent video, as usual. I will get a few items from the list because it's challenging for me to be casual and elegant at the same time.
Anna, those are the most helpful videos ever! please make more of them to us, I know it must be more difficult to make but it is worth it I think! very helpful!
Anna, thank you 🙏 for your guidance. I’ve found basics in my closet as well as gradually adding lighter colors and I love my transformation 😘!
Great! I live in Argentina and here we have Zara too. So this videos helps me a lot! Can you do one for Spring? Thanks so much Anna. Xoxox
I LOVED this video thanks! Can you please do a similar one with ASOS? Thanks x
Can there be a video on how to dress elegantly while living on a tropical place such as Puerto Rico? I live here and I'm slowly creating an elegant wardrobe, but it is a bit difficult since almost everyone does not dress this way.
Anna always says linen! It's a start!
Monochrome outfits
Neutral colours
Also, the colours that go well with your skin undertone. (There's a theory that divide skin undertones in four seasons)
Maxi skirts
Shirts
Simple basic tank tops
Big hats made with natural materials.
Do you have Pinterest? You could find plenty of inspiration out there.
And the lady on the other comment is very right. Linen is key!
Can you make a video about what to wear to the gym? It’s hard to find workout clothes that are actually elegant and flattering.
Finally a haul!!! please don't stop making clothing haul. Thank you
Love it! I would like to watch a similar video but about Mango.
I was having second thoughts about that padded jacket you wore at the end but now I bought it yesterday after seeing you wear it . ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️. It honestly looks really really good and is body hugging and well made
Thank you Anna for this informative video. I love the light camel color especially. Great pieces at a more affordable price.
Can you make a video about how to look classy as a uni student?
Great video. The tips are as valuable as the finds. It is helpful to know what to look for when shopping.
Hello, how're you doing...
Anna I love all your videos! Thank you so much for all that you do on your channel! I would love to see a closet tour 😍
I noticed that some items in Zara @ Geneva are different from other places. Has anyone also take notice?
yup.
yes especially here in Taiwan it's so frustrating 😫
Thanks for showing Anna yes some discounted stores you can find nice things like clothing and home accessories.Ross Target TJ Maxx Burlington and Marshalls. All those garments are nice
Hello! I absolutely enjoyed the video. This is one of your best videos! Thank you Anna, much bliss!
I really enjoyed the tidbits about pairing colors. I would love to see a video focusing on how to wear/pair colors for elegant ladies. :)
I don’t know if you have a TJMAX where you live but I would really love to see you do this style of video with a TJMAX haul. ❤️
Hello Anna. Thanks for the video. It's great! Unfortunately I cannot see the links for the items in the description box.
Aha, Anna is wearing Aavelle! I've spotted a few pieces that she wears from that designer and I'm happy to say I've bought some pieces from them too
Do they fit true to size ? American or European fit ?
Dear Anna, I’m your follower from the very beginning and fan of yours. Something is different/changed about you. I can’t explain it properly, I feel like you are more humble, simplified and you look more comfortable in your skin. Maybe this is just me, but I’m sensing you are transitioning somehow.
Best wishes ❤
@anna bey it’s funny seeing you in that suit especially the oversized blazer! I am so used to seeing you dressed up very elegantly.
Great tips! I’ve been implementing alot of these tips for years but definitely learned something new. Also, i love 💕 blue! Lol
You look so much better in these clothes than the Zara models. 🤩
I have tried this cream coat on - the smallest size is too large for me, unfortunately! It's too wide in shoulders, so I can't really tailor it... I will never be able to find a fittong coat or jacket in fast fashion, I ALWAYS have this very same problem 😭
But the material was suprisingly good, it has a fair percentage of wool and cotton (I believe 50% or maybe even more) with a little bit of polyester and a viscose lining!
