    I had an 80cc bottom end and a 125 barrel, I cut the the metal sleave that goes into the bottom and then filed the piston down afew thousands of a mm. I didn't know that by taking the top of the piston down to just above the top ring it created a small bit which allowed a bit of extra fuel which when it all went back together it made the bike keep up with 140s as there's not much between a good 125 and 140. It turned the semi bottom end could get alot more out of it and was stunned when it took over my m8s 140cc crf110.

    Hi m8 so happy that you to your target with your subscribers" I'm not just saying this but this man is salt of the earth and is a wizard when it comes to all types of motorbikes and the detail he goes into with whatever he's fixing. I took my z155 engine up to his old shop and how he managed to find a hairline crack on one of the gear cogs which was stopping the coggs messing together. I just wondering if you have a number I can get hold of you on as I did email your account but don't know if you got it as I didn't receive a reply.

With my 1 of my z155s, I think it's the stopper arm bottom pin has become lose enough to jump up onto the shifter drum but keel thinking it was the gearbox or another hairline crack in the linkage cogs like the one you found on my engine when I brought it up to you to which I was so grateful and appreciate it. @@motorcyclefixer yea I wouldn't mind that if your able to fit me in in about 3 weeks time if that's ok with you. I put it all back together and it runs but I just ain't got any clutch. It goes through the gears fine one second and then the next its not as smooth as it should be. Plus the no clutch problem, I thought that they might have needed the engine to run to pressure the clutch as they wet clutches on the 155 but even after leaving the bike run still clutch get no clutch, I have a spare one here but when I put it on it locked the engine up. It's whole at the moment so if I strip it back down and you could fit me in in about 3 weeks time id be really grateful and very much appreciate it. So the 2 lines on the cam gear can go either way around as long as the T on the flywheel lines up with each one. is that correct ?

    • @motorcyclefixer
      @motorcyclefixer  11 місяців тому

      off the top of my head yes
      make sure the piston is at tdc with a rounded object and check which mark on the flywheel lines up so your 100%
      Then check the cam sprocket lines up with the arrow on the head when the valves are closed. that's when the cams are not pressing on the valves
