L.O.V.E. - Minecraft’s Most OVERPOWERED Villager Trading Hall | Java 1.19 - 1.20.6
Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 сер 2024
- An explanation of a novel method of infinite villager trading called LAZY TRADING as well as a showcase of a brand new trading hall that uses it called the Lazy Overworld Villager Exchanger or LOVE designed by MadMan25 for the NubTech SMP. This offers some of the fastest void trading cycles in modern Minecraft along with some other very useful features. The build works 1.17+ except for the cart and box yeeter which is 1.19+
Sone of the rates (per hour) you can expect from the LOVE include:
72k sand
27k red sand
6.75k blue or packed ice
54k glass
40.5k bottles of enchanting
13.5k quartz block
3.37k diamond gear
13.5k enchanted books

What is love?
Baby, don't hurt me. Don't hurt me, no more.
Welp, this video got hit with a copyright claim a day after uploading even though the music was supposed to be copyright free. The reason my mic sounds like trash in the start is because youtube's "editor" messed it up
This is why emdy is the GOAT! I was so sad that cubicmetres void trading matrix isnt gonna work kuz i was planning on building it, and now this exists! W
Nobody but emdy would always find out the oddest and most creative possible project names 💀
Well actually, this one wasn't named by me :P
@@EmdyMCbruh😮
@@mrinal5690someone made a storage system called I.M.G.A.Y but i can’t remember who at moment
Extremely powerful hall, we never need to worry about sand and blue ice anymore now lol
Thats something for Doc, he wants sand ^^
@@gadmas2670 yes. Please get this to Doc. I'm tired of hearing about non renewable no duping sand XD
As a superflat survival player i have to thank you for respecting the wandering trader
there are several unobtainable items and blocks in this farm
@@biycmcYou can also just replace them if youre building this
Crazy awesome job Emdy! Thanks a million for this brilliant showcase of the design! It makes me very happy to see this shared with the community in a digestible format
well since no one else has said it yet
Fantastic design by madman, and great video showcasing it! Such a classic tmc video too... the cinematic shots, overly simplified chunk explanations, the potato frames at 0:22, bilibili references...
It's amazing that I found this farm design; I really needed excessive amounts of teal dye and spruce saplings but the wandering traders I were trading with kept despawning
That's quite the peculiar material list lol
As someone now working on a lazy loading project, how did you decide on a render + sim distance of 10 chunks? why not 12 or 16 or is 10 the smallest you can make it.
Loved this collaboration and showcase of modern tech btw, makes me hopeful for tmc
10 was what we already had on our SMP, it can be made smaller or even bigger but for what we need 10 is perfect.
NubTech happens to have SD/VD of 10 chunks :) No other reason. It will work with any SD&VD as long as VD≤SD. Any other configuration has more than one ring of border chunks and the villager does not fully unload when the player retracts over the chunk border.
Oops. Your comment wasn't loaded :)
thanks that makes sense
Its not often you get to create something this new, and this useful. Well spotted game mechanic, nice farm!
Great design and most likely i'm gonna build it in the future. I know a block tutorial is too much and litematica works just fine, but maybe a smaller guide just for the entities (minecarts inside blocks or boats through portals) would be incredible, i always have problems with those. Thank you and madman for your hard work!
There's really only one alignment that needs to be done and that's the boat needed for float alignment. In the world download there are instructions provided and if you need a video madman has one on his channel
@@EmdyMC Excellent, gonna check it tonight when I get home!
Emdy: for legal reasons, the tm is a joke.
Meanwhile, Raps and inspector: Did I stutter?
This thing is heavily nerfed by the raid farms decreased output in 1.21, but still looking forward to see how it operates
I am very afraid of how long this is going to take to build yet very interested to try my hand. Sick design!
It's quite the grind but well worth it imo
I think my great grandpa was put in one of these in the 1940’s
Now that’s one cool contraption! The video quality also went up by quite a bit!
Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into sharing these gems of the TMC community with a wider audience!
Love your videos! It's always so detailed, you put so much effort into it and create the most amazing things
This is sick, and good to see the Acronyms are still going strong 🔥.
They make for the most memorable names :P
love your vdeos, forgot when i subscribed to you but they are really good
I was just looking for some alternative to void trading to be able to upgrade to 1.21 and that gets into my recommendations. THX A LOT!
Super clever design! Well done!
Damn, this is so cool! This is even something that i might want to build in survival someday.
Awesome work as always ;-)
i just finished build the waifu and this guy make another fucked up project that I wanna build
Thanks for your video. Glad to see new game-breaking mechamisms.
Yes!!! New Emdy video
Sure to be a huge breakthrough
babe wakeup emdy just dropped a new vid.
This is epic! ❤️
finally, someone realising the potential of wandering traders!
Wandering trader is very useful on Sky block because of wandering trader you can survive a skyblock without a tree
@@raskeltv8882 not just skyblock, but almost all survival challenges that restrict access to resources (such as single biome or superflat)!
They **are** useful, it's just in vanilla they often come with trivial trades. If traders had lava buckets, that'd make them perfect imo.
L.O.V.E it
Instant sub!
Great Video, even better naming skills as always!
Is there a difference between “covered” and “uncovered” (with the slab roof) conveyor sections?
To know what to do if I were to shorten the conveyor.
The purpose of the roof is to minimise light updates. The reason the closer end is uncovered is because it already has the trader spawning platform above it blocking the light so no extended roof is needed.
amazing, as always
this is absolutely wild
LOVE... WAIFU... I'm excited for the next one.
Why do I get a feeling these project names are starting to become some from of projection of desires 💀. Amazing project though!
Shhhhhhh 🤫
😂
Gotta get you on the trend too :P
this seems like something doc would consider building in hermitcraft…maybe not season 10 tho…
Really cool
Love the video
very nice! also refreshing to see you crediting other redstoners while some other creators don't *cough* ray *cough*
Of course! I always make it a point to credit everyone involved. It's the least I can do
genius, I know the pig cannon but I never recognize it can be used for villager trading.
Full credit to mengmeng for that genius discovery!
Looks who's Back!
Now to take another 10 month break 😛
@@EmdyMC please don't :D
I saw one of the mob switch submissions on the TMC Catalogue Discord server, it's definitely not the worst acronym I've seen.
LMAO

Maybe Doc can stop punishing the other hermits now.
That would be cool, hope he sees this
I agree, I’m sure he’d absolutely love it!
does this farm also work in reverse, where you trade items and get emeralds back? either way this is an absolutely amazing project and is super underrated
Yes of course, works for any trade
@@EmdyMC sounds good, thanks!

Hey, i can't seem to get this machine to work. Although the villager disapears from it's minecart at the lazy chunks area, it doesn't appear at player's side. Do you use some mod to properly render the entities, or is it a different issue? I am trying this on 1.21 btw. Additionally, sometimes when a villager is called it won't get the villager, leaving the machine is the "calling to void cell mode". Also, sometimes when the villager is called back to matrix, it will trigger the "calling to void cell" mode again, bricking the machine.
Update: villagers can't be called because sometimes the memory circuit doesn't reset, so a villager can't be called.
No mod needed to render the conveyed villager, perhaps you have something like the bobby mod that can have a different view distance in singleplayer than your render distance? That will affect it. As for the bricking we'll look into it, thanks for letting us know
@@EmdyMCno, i tried on fresh installs of both 1.20.4 and 1.21 and i can’t get the villager to appear on 1.21, even if i do exactly the same things. Could ya try to find some fix? Even a janky one would be good enough
There seems to be a change in 1.21 that stops it from rendering, it worked fine in the snapshots. Will look into it and see if there are any workarounds or if a client mod is needed
@@EmdyMCI also tried tick freezing on the tick where the villager should be there and reloading the chunks client side, but that still didn’t work
This is a great invention! It's one of the few "practical" machines I've seen to use instant entity transport.
How does this measure lag-wise?
extremely minimal. Any numbers I put on it would be wildly inaccurate because of how small the lag is and how hardware dependent lag is. Iirc it was about 3 mspt on our free Oracle server.
@@madman2572 Whoah, great job on this, you must be so proud!
Does this work on Pi edition and Legacy Console edition?
yeah definitely /j
plz make a version of this that works on 1.21, also plz make schematics for it and like, a totorial on where and how to setup the hall
There was a change in 1.21 that makes the villager not properly render in front of the player which is why it can't be used. Most likely it will need a client mod to fix but we're working on it. As for schematics and tutorial, all the relevant information is in the world download, the build direction has to be the same
@@EmdyMC wow that was fast, also the reason i am asking for a schematic and tutorial is because i am worried i might stuff up the build as it is such a specific build, but since it wont work on 1.21 i prob wont build it as i am planning on updating soon, but i realy hope you find a way to get it to work or for you to find something else that can be used for automatic mass trading.
Project names are getting more creative 😂
Pog
1.21 the boat starts riding the minecart :/
Not me just wondering why i finished building cubic meters trading hall last week
Unfortunate 🥲
That name means something to Undertale players
What would be the maximum samd rates/h
See description
Emdy, how did you link all the chunkloaders? they're pretty close to each other
It's quite precise, you can check out the wdl and see
@@EmdyMC what does wdl stand for?
@user-uq1iw8xp8k world download
can this be built in the end???
🗿
what about in the moon?
Yes, you can build a shulker farm next to it to store the items🐟
Why does the villager not need to be reloaded client side?
If you bring it in on a normal conveyor it would, but instantly bringing it in from lazy chunks allows it to render just fine
@@madman2572 oh I see
Does this not work for 1.21
Also great video ! None of ur videos ever dissapoint
Very late into the release cycle of 1.21 they made a change to entity rendering that makes it not work in vanilla. There is a bug that has been marked as fixed for a future update which is closely related to the mechanics used in LOVE so we'll have to wait and see if it's patched in 1.21.1
Thats like 400k Ice an hour...
does this work on the samsung smart fridge?
@@Hxttrick perhaps
Can you integrate L.O.V.E and W.A.I.F.U together?
I'm trying to make it work on a paper server
Didn't found any ideas for now
for now villagers aren't unloading when you trade with them
but hey are put in the matrice when you call another one
Does it work in pocket edition 0.8.1?
Because we aren't using a void trading method, couldn't this work in 1.21 ?
Yes but unfortunately there was a change to entity rendering that doesn't let it work in vanilla, we're looking into workarounds
@@EmdyMC Oooh ok, thanks for the answer
It was discovered by cubicmetre? Thats a weird spelling of "Rayswork" kekw
why would anyone ever need this? besides some smp with way to much free time and galactic goals regarding building
It's definitely not for everyone, but for servers/playstyles where duping is not allowed this provides a good alternative source for a lot of usually hard to get materials.
So does this work on Bedrock? No, don't ban me! I meant on the bedrock roof of the nether! 🙄
jk. thx for sharing this awesome invention.
Well if you can figure out the chunkloading and waterstreams then sure, but until then . . . no :)
@@EmdyMC I mean, we just have to upgrade from 1.18 to 1.21 to get our waterlogged falling scaffolding orbital strike cannon system and the waterstream part is solved. :D
