Does this work on bedrock edition?
Best iron farm I've ever seen and built
Having an issue with the downaccel spawing platform for maxi 18, sticky pistons aren’t pulling the slime blocks and smooth stone blocks up with them.
@@YeeYeeChriss check for any extra blocks around, maybe temporary blocks. Also check if you have some weird dynamic lighting datapack installed
Does it still work in 1.21.3
Does this work in 1.21 ?
ngl this is ass my villagers keep dying iron golems spawning everywhere. It's probably cuz I'm playing on 1.21.3 but who knows
hi so im having a problem in the nether where the chickens in the boat just go through the portal when its lit
I have villagers near the farm. I built it up the amount of blocks in the video, but do the villagers still effect the efficiency, because I’ve been having some problems with my farm
Does this support 1.21?
for some reason my villagers are dying when they fall down
Villager void trading was nerfed litteraly yesterday (in newest snapshot) 😢. Mojang really donc like cool redstone project.
I respect how you builders invent things in minecraft and how this farm is built. Looks amazing! and it is interesting to watch and to build like Lego )) But it is useless because you don't need that much iron )
how do i get to chests?
3:08 "There's no way to detect them." This is not true. While yes, there's no way to *instantly* detect them, that does not mean there's no way to detect them. Faster methods: Daylight detector (skylight only) Mushroom/crop light requirements (block or skylight) Slower/random methods: Grass/crop growth. Mob spawning.
You and patate are really vying for a nerd crown or something huh 😂
@@EmdyMC Daylight detectors are an actually useful way to use light updates. You can (for example) transmit a second bit of independent information down through a walltower with them. Generally you want to just use more walls, but in really tight spaces, it's a wacky information transport option that works.
@@haph2087 yeah I'm aware of the daylight detector signal stuff, but when I said "There's no way to detect them" I meant that you can't detect the update propagation in the same way you can for block and state updates. Error on my end I'll admit for not making that clearer.
Hey, I‘m currently building the maxi 19 version (portal based) and I‘m struggeling to get the boat with the chicken in the right spot! It keeps teleporting into the overworld when I light the portal I tried placing the boat slighty off but it still keeps going into the overwold… Does someone know how to fix it? Im playing in version 1.21.1 by the way
Send the boat from the overworld, they changed how entities with passengers interact with portals
This was a great video. I very much look forward to watching more. Thank you!
I've never once called the back of the observer a "butt," but now that is what I will exclusively call it
@@Guest-rh9pl Oh no what have I done 🫣
I must be an idiot, lol, I still have a hard time grasping all the functionality of these components.
It takes some time and practice, make sure you give the exercises a shot as well. When we look at different circuits in the future it will become easier to see how and when to use the components
I'm glad to see you making videos. I like your work
8:50 I know about bubble columns instant upward activation but I didn't know walls can have instant downward activation. Thank you! This makes sense of some redstone circuits I have seen but didn't understand. Would love to see an episode on randomizers. I recently learned of a 2 option randomizer that uses shears and powdered snow bucket in a dispenser.
There's never an end to all the random weird mechanics you can learn in Minecraft and I love it! Awesome video as always!
Really well-edited video! I"m looking to imrove my farm designs and this video is super helpful. Keep at it :3
Great video, this is the first I've seen in the series but i'll be watching them all over the next few days
Thanks! Catching up shouldn't take that long, there's only 3 videos in the series so far :P
I think I’ll keep the dirt powder snow update in mind. Very niche but I think I’ll probably find a use for it in the future. Anything can help when space gets limited
I'm surprised you haven't used it already lol
Need more subs!
3:07 well akshually ☝️🤓 you can use mob spawning to trigger components and notice light update changes
🤓🤓🤓
They were too lazy to remove the powere property from the dragon head Me having years of redstone experience watching this knowing i already know what will be said 🤓
Very nice
Great video.
Great work. I learned about the comparitor countdown clock for the first time today. Thanks!
Just a comment
Nice video dude
Here before 1k views :3
❤
Love this series 🩷
True
strings also updates when an entity pass through them without needing tripwires
Oh true, that slipped my mind. Will mention it when I cover tripwires later
Wow, I had no idea a skull could be powered 😮
maybe its a shared code from the ender dragon head!
amazing video as always
Observe this 🍑
skulls can be powered?????????
Relatively new change, went under most people's radar
@@EmdyMC no phoenix sc video, must not exist :trol:
@@smooshymemes Get phoenix to do redstone 😔
All mob/player head blocks can. I guess Mojang was too lazy to remove that property from the ones that don't animate. But powering is how you can make dragon heads "talk" and cause piglin heads to flap their ears.
@@EmdyMCoh god, with whatever he does with just resource and datapacks, i'm scared with what abominations(?) he'd do if he learned redstone.
+1 comment for the algorithm, nice video!
here's a comment to mainly push the algorithm to share the video
And another
@@CJsResearch and another
It actually work
Another
MORE
6:25 also skulls now, which I still find weird, but they can be powered and the change can be detected. Edit: nvm I should’ve waited lol
i think its because ender dragon heads when placed and powered have an animation, and all skulls are probably the same Object in the code
Is there any hope that this farm will be fixed in the newer versions?
The trading hall will no longer work on versions above 1.21.2 as a change on this version causes the villager ui to close whenever you get too far from the villager
If I want to stack lets say 8 of them what is the best distance between each module?
Covered this in the video, 12 blocks apart horizontally
Does it still work?
is it necessary for each group to have 1 farmer and 2 ordinary villagers, or is it acceptable for everyone to be out of work or for there to be 2 farmers and 1 ordinary villager?
No profession needed, although I wouldn't recommend building this design anymore, there's a better one called waifu on my channel that you should build instead
If I passed the place the Wandering Trader in through time for 40m they will eventually despawn right?
Yes
So since you load the wandering trader to get it into position you cant actually trade infinitely right? Since its despawn timer will eventually reach 0. Correct me if wrong, great video love the design
Every time you switch traders in or out their timers will tick down since yes they are loaded. However as long as they are in the trading position they will never tick and hence never despawn, hence the infinite trade claim
