I guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Alexzander Zavier Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
You inspired me. I bought it and it will come today. My husband's been going blind and informed me three days ago he can no longer see to shave. So, I'm going to have to do it. I'm nervous but he just wants his hair shaved off short and shave him as close as I can with this clipper set then I'll do the fine shave with a razor. Wish me luck. #lifegoeson Blessings...
My husband and I are in our 60s. I watched this video two times and got up the nerve to cut his hair myself. We're both thrilled with the results. Thank you so much! You're a wonderful teacher and I'm so grateful for the confidence you gave me to try this. Yes, I subscribed. :) God bless.
Hello Alex, you really brought it to perfection! If all those barbers were able to cut the hair that accurately. And you cut your own hair by looking into a mirror. One thing is definitely helpful that you have a very good hair growth. Perfect fading always! Take care and stay healthy! Greetings from Germany 👍🍀
I’ve been giving hair cuts with these trimmers and have been waiting to fade with a clipper with a lever and after seeing this video it gives me the confidence to fade with this trimmer so thanks for the tips!
Thank you Alex! I’ve been going to barbershops all my life, but now I work in a place where there are no good barbershops! For first time I’m doing it myself and all I have is a damn Norelco. You saved my life! Lol
Good job man. I got my $16 High Precision corded Hair Clipper which I bought at Target(Pretty Cheap)Cutting my hair for 1 year .It's not about How expensive your clipper is,About how good you are cutting your own hair... Thank you, help me a lot
Thanks Alex!! you are the man!!! Okay honestly I was afraid to try this since a lot of people discouraged me that without a lever you won't make a proper fade but I made this today and it turned out amazing! I would say it looks decent as first fade attempt starting from zero never bad at all! I mean this motivates me to buy a pro clippers it is definitely a worth investment and it will make it way easier but for those who got like this trimmer trust me you will make a nice haircut with it just follow the steps! and here is extra notes from me: 1. battery may die on you if you spend so much time so be careful or feel free to do it on two sessions if necessary 2.make you sure you really keep track of the lines you created, start with one side first to make it easier and so that you do not go higher by accident on the other side 3. be really patient with using the edge of 1mm guard i know it takes time but it will knock out the hard lines if you do exactly what Alex did 4. if you screw something up because starting with zero can be critical I believe if you have some experience cutting your own hair it can be possible to fix it 5. now you have no reason not try giving yourself a fresh cut with a budget trimmer!
If you guys have long hair on sides and back then I suggest cutting with anything higher then a 15ml guard so that your hair is short because it makes seeing all the guidelines a lot easier.
Just bought this one at a Truck Stop because the Andis Master I had just started getting louder and wouldn't cut anymore so I threw it. Bought this Phillips just because of your review and I actually got a shower and tried your self hair cutting tips and dam it worked. Not as good as yours but it's a way better feeling. It's hard for truckers to find barbers and it would've cost more $30 than this $24 norelco 3000. Thanks for your video and I'll be subscribe and learn more from you. Definitely comes in handy when traveling.
My girlfriend started doing my hair around 10 years ago, it was a learning process for her I had some really bad ones, when we broke up I started doing it I've pretty much mastered it but I don't do the fade I just take A3 the whole way around the back and sides, then I kind of wet the top and cut it with scissors, it usually turns out very well but the bangs are a little tough and that thinning scissor trick I definitely need to get, I just ordered this new Clipper set I'm really looking forward to it I know I'm two years late but for twenty bucks I figured I'd try it something different than my old plug-in one. I usually use a 3 I'm not sure which one I would use on these their marked differently
Thank you for the video! I was tired of paying to barbers and all the time fixing their job in home , so I decided to do my hair myself. I have Braun trimmer without regulation as yours and I followed your example. First it felt uncomfortable watching in the mirror and shaving but I learned that you need to focus on your head on not the mirror. To make the fading effect I just pressed the trimmer harder to the skin - it works! Good luck to everyone who will do this for first time! By the way don't be shocked after your start with the zero and you feel uncomfortable to move your hand. 😁👌
Bro i think this is the easiest beginner way can you say how do you do the fading for example 3mm fading how am i supposed to do that can you tell me plssss i need to get my first self cut ✂️ 😊
Hi Alex, thanks so much for the videos. Something I don't get: when you're fading the hard lines how come you use the same guard length? For example to fade the 3mm and 5mm you use the 3mm again. How come?
If I didn't want my hair as short as yours at the bottom of the fade, but just slightly longer, would I start with the lowest guard then work my way up from their?
Hi Alex i hope you see this comment , im just wondering if i can make buss cut by using these instructions , i only have 1 up to 7 mm guards . can i end the fade with 7 all the way around or will it look wierd ? im trying to visualize it but i cant get to the answear. what i mean is go from 0 - 1- 3- 5 -7 and end it there? hope that you see this and i hope that you understand!
Update : i tried what i explained, the results came ut ok, not good, ok, (first time trying to cut my hair) from 1-10 i would gave my first cut a solid 4.5 . the hardest part was to cut the back of my head. and my babybliss trimmer died all the time , so im saving up money for a real trimmer !
You are to picky. I do it in 15minutes 1guard all over. 4mm. Trim the neck and edges why waste time fading that short in couple days not even noticable
I have cut my hair over a years time never had to charge it yet. But I don't take an hour. 15 to 20 minutes tops and trimmer not on all the time but most
Alex Kouras That’s fine but you need to expand to others. Offer to cut your friends and their friends. I did that and ended up with 30 clients per month. Video all of them and use the best. The more hair you cut, the better you will become!
Can I use the edge of the 9mm to poke the uncut part line instead of the thinning shear? It is tough to do thinning shear over comb. Thanks for the lesson.
@Alex Kouras Superb tutorial!!! I do have a question. You created 3 guidelines of 1mm, 3mm and 5mm. So to fade the 3mm guideline, can we use a 2mm guard with flick out motion? Similarly to fade 5mm guideline, can we use 6mm guard with flickout motion?
@@laxmikant144 I have tried twice so far. Mine was ok. Not upto the mark I wanted. I couldn't get clean guidelines. The longer hair strands from above the guideline kept covering the guideline. 2nd time I tried without creating guideline. Just flicking the wrist. It came out cleaner, but not in straight line. Guess more practice is needed :(

Could to sand down a 3mm guard to 2.5mm, 5mm to 4.5mm etc etc, if you buy spares to do that with??? Giving you a tighter range of guards?
Is this for beginners too
I have every single mm should I get rid of hard lines from 1 to 3 with a 2mm?
Great Vid, no time wasted and straight to the point!!!
Much better than most local barbers here in the philippines
Watch Many videos but all has the lever fade adjustment finally in my level here. With the simple trimmer
