  • Jackery has some of the best portable power stations in the world. That's why we thought a review of the 500, 1000, and 1500 would be EPIC! Jackery also sent us over the brand new 1500 solar generator to test out so we can let you know what's best for you. Getting electricity on the road can be quite nerve-racking and that is why we had to make this review and suggest what Jackery is right for you! WOOT WOOT

    I have a Goal Zero 1000 & Jackery 500. One big factor to keep in mind is the quality of Inverter. Portable generators have surge thresholds that they’re rated at. For example, some 500 units (like the one from Bluetti) have lower surge ratings, so the types of appliances that can be powered are very limited. I personally like Goal Zero, Jackery, and Eco Flow as the industry leaders.
    Eco Flow has a unit with optional parallel battery “expansion pack.”

    • @ian.and.ana.

      We charge them three ways!
      1.) Put them out when we are camping
      2.) When we are parked at state park/national park, etc we leave one on the top of our transit connect and no one has ever taken it haha. It's super thin
      3.) We just started putting one in our windshield and it's amazing!!

    So I know it’s going to completely depend on how much you use it, but is there a way for you to explain how long the power lasts typically?

    • @tylerbaird7287
      @tylerbaird7287 Рік тому +1

      depends on how much you pull off of it. you have to look at all of your appliances to calculate it. if you only pull 1 watt per hour then it'll last 1500/1000/500 depending on which one you choose.

    • @MrSupernova111
      @MrSupernova111 Рік тому +1

      That's impossible for someone to answer for you without knowing how much power you consume. Best thing is to figure out how much wattage each unit you need to charge consumes and add it up. Wattage is usually an hourly measurement.

    I have the 500 & 300 which I daisy chain to get 800wh and even more wh while charging with 2 100w solar chargers…You could daily chain the 1500-1000-500-300 and get 3300wh….

      Haha to be honest noone really cares. We have probably brought it in 30+ times but as long as you buy something like a coffee they really can't say anything. It's like charging a laptop

    What if you camp for no more than 5 days at a time and you just want to run a 12v fridge and charge laptops and phones? Which one?

    You'll never get 400watts out of 2, 200watt panels because it has to convert the power being generated and stored so its not even possible 350-380 tops is maximum efficiency to be expected
