    This has LiFePO4 batteries.
    13:30 - Time estimate is based on the compressor running the entire time. Once the space is at set temp, the Jackery will last longer.

    I just got a Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus July 15, 2024. My Explorer 2000 Plus charges at 1500 watts, not the 750 watts you get, when I plug it into any electrical outlet in my house. I live in a 30 year old home in the province of Ontario, Canada. Peace, Calvin.

      You need the second unit to do 240 with their adapter. And you need room for disappointment also. I just got my second and it's like a second unit, not double capacity. I'm searching the Internet for the truth on this. But it's easier to try another brand... Looking at Eco flow, but also looking for information. I think jackery is scrubbing all negative reviews since i can't find anyone else disappointed like me.

    With Lifepo4 batteries, you can fully charge them and completely discharge them without needing it use battery saving mode because it will take 10 years for the battery capacity to drop to 80%. That's a long time, no need to baby those batteries.

    @6:03 - these aren't LiFEPO4? That would be a deal-breaker for me.

    From appearances, it looks like you can monitor everything by looking at the unit displays - and the phone app is just a convenience? I'm hoping i will Not Have the have an app. Will it indeed fully function without an app? Thanks again

    Did you have your converter running? Running the jackery wastes so much power converting twice to get 12v converted to power the 12v side.

    Can you charge with solar panels and use the generator at the same time?

    • @MakingStuff
      @MakingStuff  5 днів тому +1

      Yes, if you aren't using more power than you are making.

    It took a lot of power to run your very small AC. I'd love to have this unit during a power outage and be able to periodically cool down one room with my 6000BTU window AC. Will this size Jackery run it for like 5 minutes every so often or do I need an even larger unit? Thanks

    The website says High Power Output: Maximum 6,000 W power in parallel connection and 120/240V expandable voltage. How to use 240V, for using in Europe?

I have wanted JACKERY for a long time, since I saw it on ARMS Family, HIDDEN HIGHTS etc. UA-cam. Is there any way us older Americans can make payments, lower if possible due to only getting SS. Thanks for listening.

    These things are not generators, I don't know why people call it that. Its a battery. This thing doesn't generate a single volt of power. Generators make power, batteries store power.

    • @MakingStuff

      If you hook up the solar panels, they most certainly produce power.
