Channels that treat their subscribers like a field they can harvest are missing the boat. The creator's ability to create content without bounds is what us viewers are after. The reason Hollywood has failed is because the old money (sub in "media") doesn't understand democracy. We vote with our feet. Keep creativity as the top driver of viewership. Please.

It's interesting hearing you guys say Donut never really ended up being what you expected... I kind of felt that way as a viewer... I watched it for awhile, but after a bit, I just started watching less and less because it became all these top 10 lists and similar type content, and that just wasn't what I was interesting in watching. I liked most of the folks in the videos, I simply got bored of the content. I want to see cars being worked on in some way, shape or form or something that teaches me something new about how they work, and so little of the content actually had that by the time I unsubscribed. At any rate, good luck with the channel! I've subbed and plan to see where you guys head with it!

It seems you guys have moved away from Donut for the exact same reason I stopped watching their videos. I loved the actual builds and the driving of your own pieces of work. A lot of the videos started to seem...gimmicky to me. Best of luck to you guys on the new endeavors and best of luck to Donut's continued success as well.
